    Hey hi! Need your valuable suggestion on this! I have Rapid Ambition Variant Aug 2020. Stock headlamps are weak(Projector Xenon- Low Beam and Normal Halogen for High Beam). I need to upgrade. Please suggest me some good bulbs which is suitable for this model.

      Hello Praveen, Congratulation on having a Skoda. Xenon is projectors is a good light, you may change Hi beam halogen bulb with Philips xtreme vision or Osram Laser series halogen H7 bulb, also put H11 bulb in the fog and align those properly, you may refer other videos on my channel, where i have compared H8 Halo bulb (which is 35 watt and comes as factory fitted), you may change it with H11 which is 55 watt bulb, brighter compared to H8 and align your fogs a bit up in light throw. See my other videos, it may help.
      Hope i answered your query, Happy Riding.

    Hey man, Nice video. Keep up the good work. Really helpful. I have a couple of H7 for my Low and High beam. However, I find it extremely difficult to change them without removing the headlight housing. Can you post a video to remove the housing and replace the bulbs or any alternative way to replace them.

      Thanks you Vighneshwar, yes, i will be posting more to help the community as i find topics on Car.
      You can easily change the Hi Beam halo without removing the headlight assembly.
      To change the Low beam halo in projector, you need to remove the assembly, there is no easy way to change the low beam bulb.
      I am planning to put LEDs in low beam, when i do so, i will post video on how to remove the headlight assembly for it, Covid situation has halted that upgrade for me.

    Hey man informative video.
    Posting here for some much needed advise.I got my Rapid rider delivered a couple of weeks back and I drove it in the night for the first time yesterday and found the stock headlamps absolutely underwhelming. To tell you that I found the throw very inadequate would be a gross understatement.
    I am curious if others who have the rider variant faced the same issue and have replaced its headlamps. Also interested in hearing what options are available!
    I think the riders high and low beam are halogen reflector headlamps.

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152
      @vtgtsvlogs9152  4 роки тому +1

      Siddharth ji, yes, Rider has both hi and low beam in single reflector and is fitted with H4 bulb, where both Hi and lo filaments are in same bulb. I would suggest you to upgrade the H4 bulb with Philips xtreme vision or Osram Laser series bulb.
      Also see if you can add Fogs to support/add more light, this is not mandatory but if you can then fogs with a bit upward light will always help.
      Let me know for any help required.
      People will suggest to put 90/100 watt bulb in place of 55/60 watt H4, but i will not suggest to do so, as it will spoil the reflector in longer run.

    will the H11 bulb fit directly into the h8 socket of fog lamp. Or need do some struggle with the clip ?
    also how easy to change/access the low beam projector bulb any idea ?

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152
      @vtgtsvlogs9152  4 роки тому +1

      To fit H11 on H8 socket, we need to bend/cut some part of the top clip (this can be done easily using a Plyer) as i shared in video on comparing H8 & H11, please see that and let me know for any help required.
      To access the projector bulb, there is no easy way to do so, we need to remove the buffer from the side and remove the headlight unit completely to change the bulb. its pretty tough tough, need some mechanic to work on it.

    Hi is it possible to fit an LED bulb for the high beam? Because there isn't any place

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152
      @vtgtsvlogs9152  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, you may fit a smaller size LED in Hi beam but it can be tricky to get it fitted. Plus you will need the adaptors (Hi beam adaptors are available at Amazon).
      I will not suggest to fit LED in Hi beam as the light distorts a log in reflector type head unit and ay blind the incoming traffic..

    Hi please suggest if I can sure H7 hella halogen bulbs with 70 watts in low beam headlight without any additional relay in my skoda rapid style 2019. Regards Lokesh

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152
      @vtgtsvlogs9152  4 роки тому

      I will not suggest to put high wattage bulb in Projectors, as it gets heated a lot and spoil the projector in near future. Even fitting 50 watt HID's has same heat issues, hence Philips is not making HIDs now and Osram is also suggesting to fit 35 watt HIDs. Instead try LEDs which has brighter light with less heat, it needs the adapter to fit in (Adapter - i am planning as a give away soon).
      If you still want to fit high watt bulb then i would suggest to fit the relay and ceramic holders. Why relay, cos it wont kill your battery. Hope i answered your question.

      @@vtgtsvlogs9152 thanks, if i go with LED bulbs than which brand do you suggest? Else if I use H7 with 70w halogen than by putting relay and ceramic holder do i need to make any wire cut in existing circut, which may impact the warranty of the car.
      Apart from Rapid, I also own a jetta car so can I use this H7 70 watts bulbs in lower beam reflector of jetta, does this higher watt bulbs damage the reflector of jetta as well. Please advise

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152

      Wire cuts will not be required with proper relay set, as it takes input from original wiring.
      Higher watt bulbs will always effect badly on reflectors also with time. If you can wait for a while, I am planning to install 50watt LEDs in low beam of my car, so will be able to suggest LEDs later.

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152
      @vtgtsvlogs9152  4 роки тому +1

      If you want to stick with Halogens, then you may think of getting Philips Xtreme vision or Osram Laser series Bulbs, If you are thinking of HIDs then do not put more than 35 watts, as 55 watts will spoil the headlight unit.
      Go for halogens and do refer my video to upgrade the Fogs from H8 to H11, as H11 is 55 watt brighter and better compared to H8 which is 35 watt. Also realign the headlight and Fogs for better results. See the videos on this.

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152

      I am also planning to put LED;s in projector, but i am waiting for adapter to get delivered to me, will share videos on it in coming future.
      Your problem of low light with Projector can be resolved with upgrade to Fogs and realigning the lights (Low beam and fogs realignment). see videos on this on my channel.

      In both Hi and low beam, you may put H7 and in Fogs H8 or H11 LEDs..

      Looking at the Packing in image, this looks as if its made in same factory where Autobahn, NightEye, NovSight and few other brands are assembled, this looks rebranding of a product from same assembly. Though I am yet to fit but I got NovSight LEDs for my car, which are 50W each with 10000lumen per light, combined its 20000lumem from Cloud www.cloudsalestore.com/, they are associated with Amazon and also has direct store with lesser price.

    • @vtgtsvlogs9152

      In this video i have showcases by removing Hi beam reflector bulb, If you want to know about projector bulb, then it can also be removed and fixed back in same way. There are the similar clips. i will create a video displaying the types of clips/adapter used for holding bulbs in reflector and projector.
      Yes, same way of removing by moving anticlockwise and fitting back by moving clockwise works for all headlights.
      Do not plan to fit LED's as the same clip/adapter will not allow you to fit it, it needs different adapter. I will share video for it soon.
