The playoffs start April 20th and the latest they can possibly end is June 23rd if there’s a Game 7. Going to Game 6 would end the playoffs at exactly two months on June 20th. Whats he smoking?

@@ericreid8111 It's different for everyone. Luka had a calf strain the very last game of the season back in 2022. He came back in 12 days only, played game 4 of the 1st round, & led his team to the Western Conference Finals. I had a calf strain last year, was out 4 weeks, I'm not a pro though, but I also don't get the same care & treatment they do 24/7.

I swear, doc gets the most passes for excuses for performing badly. Their 1st half schedule was not that different from difficulty in the second half. They are alarmingly mediocre and did better under the first coach.

I’d agree if it weren’t for the Giannis injury. This could’ve been the year that meant he no longer has any options for coaching an NBA team. However, that injury will give them an excuse to give him another year.
How can you even fault him in this particular situation? If he was hired last June like Griffin was, & failed, then yeah you can blame him. But he came in mid-season to try & fix this mess, had no relationships with the team, no training camps, no preseason. He was literally thrown into a game & expected to fix it asap. It's not like Ty Lue's situation in Cleveland where he was already an assistant coach for the Cavs for 1.5 years & then they promoted him to head coach after firing Blatt. Plus, like Windy said, he only had Giannis, Middleton, & Lillard for 8 games together.
Definitely not this season. Next season, undoubtedly. It may actually certify him as a really good coach or just an average one by then.

The bucks front office is the worst in the league. In March Giannis has an Achilles strain. They sit him for one game and allow doc to overplay him for the rest of the season. IN WHAT WORLD IS A STRAINED ACHILLES NOT A 5 ALARM BLAZE WHERE YOU SHUT YOUR PLAYER DOWN AND FOCUS ON REHABBING HIM FOR THE PLAYOFFS?!?! WHO DO THEY HAVE IN THAT FRONT OFFICE?!?!?!?

Doc Rivers will bring the Bucks down to the ground. He is the worse coach to develop players. He never plays young players, and used the big minutes on main guys. It is no wonder Giannis and Dame both injures at the end of this season.
