That's true, but it's also true that they can't stop playing while waiting for a whistle. Them not boxing out Hartenstein or closing out to DDV had as much to do with them losing as anything

@@jgates9786not really. The Knicks were handed the second seed, they were something close to 20 wins behind the Celtics. The Knicks are frauds through and through. They rely on the refs swinging the game in their favor.

Bontemps is great on this show. I didn't realize he does court side reports. When he's on Sports Center he's completely different. His reports analysis are fine he's just so rigid on the sideline. His voice it totally different. He sounds like a newsreporter from 1986. A robot. On the podcast though he's chill and laid back way more easy to listen too

The step with his right you are counting as step 1, I am counting as step 0 as the ball hasn't been fully gathered. It's a difference in fractions of a second on when the ball is actually gathered, which no human ref can really tell. Kind of like Harden's step back jump stop, if you break it down frame by frame it's really hard to tell what steps are actually gather steps vs step 1 after gather.

He's 23, averaged 26 and 6, and is averaging 32 and 7 in this series. If he's not a superstar he's on his way. Couldn't ask more of him this series
