Hey man Making Edgy characters is fun at times if you're really roleplay heavy because you get to explore those emotions and have the character open up.
Yeah, like my lizardfolk bloodhunter. He had to watch a black dragon kill his parents and melt them in a pool of acid. Actually, Bloodhunter wasn’t created for Taliesin. Shockingly enough, it was created for Vin Diesel in a promotional one shot for the movie “The Last Witch Hunter” (the one-shot is called D&Diesel). The homebrew ended up being really popular, so Matt quickly patched up the class and released it to the public. He would later go on to update the class, fixing and polished it up a bit.

OOO, dude, can you also make a video about Matthew's 5e Gunslinger too. I have just started watching CR campaign 1 rn and I am very intriguied in Percy.
Mercer's Gunslinger is actually a subclass of Fighter. So they might cover it in their How to Play Fighter video, but I doubt it'll get it's own video.
Dominick Finch yea I know, but it's a sub-class unlike any other in 5e, and the gun-tinkering part seemed complicated to me. I hope they do mention it somewhere in the how to play series. Cuz I really would like to play as a gunslinger.
They might make a mention of it in the How to Play series, but they don't ever cover subclasses at length. They usually just mention them and give a very brief summary. I'm sure if you pestered them enough they would make a video on it, just maybe not in the How to Play format. But I do hope you get to play it because it is some of the most fun I've ever had with playing a character.

I think the edgiest class ever would be the edgelord. You are a corrupted bard by the influence of the seven hell kings. You gave up your ability to not be dramatic at everything you say and in exchange you are gifted with the power of creating black blades out of thin air. Your blood is used as a poison as you cut your veins to apply it on the razor sharp edges. Other abilities should be : 1) Edge rage: when an opponent makes fun of you you can deal 1 D(20) more damage 2) Poison immunity that you must sustain via drinking poison at least once In a week. 3) Blood ties: when you meet another edgelord your hp goes up by 2. 4) Blood eating: you can eat the blood of your opponents to gain hp and 1 spell they know as well as all status conditions they may have. I think I made a solid class 😂😂😂
I'm currently playing a Dhampir mercenary Blood Hunter of the Order of the Ghostslayer in a campaign at the moment, I'm really liking the class so far.
I can just imagine a xenoblade chronicles setting with a blood hunter binding an entire island. Also I wanna see a dark velocity that just makes the blood hunter run into walls.
I've made a custom class similar to this. It's called the blood knight and it involves using your own blood to power your blood spells. Using BP(Blood points) leads you further down a penalty table since the less blood you have in your body things like motor and immune functions decrease so it's meant to copy that. Blood spells can shape your enemies blood into weapons you can use to further make them bleed, you can halt their blood flow all together, or see through their eyes by having just a mere drop of their blood, or have knives shoot out of their body made from the blood inside. It's definitely a work in progress but it's what I imagine for a blood focused class rather than losing to, you suffer actual losses to your body and if you aren't careful you will die. With this class you can theoretically die at full health.
Matthew Mercer has since updated this class, meaning the video may not be entirely accurate! Make sure to double check and read through your abilities, trust the text! Not this dumb idiot.

I think I made a solid class 😂😂😂
the "TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!" really sold it for me
I feel yall should do a new version of this since its been updated... also Been thinking of playing one soon and would enjoy hearing more about them.
The only reason to pick this class is to say "I knew it!" when you find out that your butter knife is evil.
R.i.P Mollymauk
That spoon wasn't evil...it was just really mean :(
You really should do druids, if only to have a lvl 20 feature that actually is insane.
I'm telling you, profaned soul completely invalidates warlock!
10:00 i love the fact that he didnt have a chair
I'm currently playing a Dhampir mercenary Blood Hunter of the Order of the Ghostslayer in a campaign at the moment, I'm really liking the class so far.
Rip molly
blood-hunter 18 / artificer 2
returning weapon arcane infusion
boom, now you can truly be the ultimate boomerang blood-hunter
Or just use the thrown weapons master feat. If your DM is allowing UA, they'll probably allow it
@@twiwolf6754 does that feat let the weapon come back?
Genuinely asking the weapon feat UA doesn't have it and I can't find a different version
7:30 best moment in the video.
Like the new hair
I can just imagine a xenoblade chronicles setting with a blood hunter binding an entire island.
Also I wanna see a dark velocity that just makes the blood hunter run into walls.
If I play a Lycan bloodhunter can I be a were-tarrasque?
Does the Blood Hunter remind anyone else of Witchers?
Don't forget Grey Wardens from Dragon Age! Grey Wardens are basically multi-classed Paladins/Blood Hunters.
That’s basically order of the mutant
Time to build a weretrout bloodhunter with a boomerang!
