Pioneer, help, please. my dad bought your products through the 70s up to the 00s, I bought your 501ex last year. I know the radio inside and out. But I've yet to find a way to make CD text show on a real CD. Outside of that it's a great unit.
This is actually Crutchfield but we are authorized Pioneer dealers. Do you get artist information from other sources like USB or Bluetooth? Do those same CDs show text on other radios you've tried?
I have pulled up both the Wagon and the Hatchback body style of the 2013 Scion XB, and the Pioneer AVH-501EX will indeed fit either style. Get in touch with a member of our Advisor team! They will be happy to help get you setup with the proper installation gear for your application! www.crutchfield.com/I-rYTVc164/contact
I’m confused because at 0:34 it says “Compatible with Pioneer AppRadio Mode+” but that apps description doesn’t even list this radio as a compatible device
This model was compatible with AppRadioMode+. You can read more about this option starting on page 30 of the manual here: pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageBank/v20180513135300/Manuals/130/130601EX.PDF
In the Bluetooth connection menu, press the trash can icon to delete the selected registered device. This is covered on page 22 of the Pioneer owner's manual. If you do not have your manual, you can download a PDF copy from the stereo's main webpage at Crutchfield.com: bit.ly/2ILFaQB You'll find the link for the manual under the "What's in the Box" heading. Hope that helps --Crutchfield
I would think they would be talking during a demo to give you some ideas what the radio does. Instead it's just music which for me is a very poor video that shouldn't be watched.

I just cleared mine without a problem. When I go out to my car later I will try to remember what I did and let you know.
