I'm so completely thrilled that this is available to see and hear. I have the 2012 "Air - The Bach Album". I was blaring this all day today while running errands. The looks of shock and awe was quite entertaining because you don't hear people bumping classical music that often from their stereo systems in their vehicles. LOL! Thank you so very much for sharing this treasure and rare gem of a performance! Splendid! Take care and stay healthy. (Smile)

Good God....how often can you see and hear the sixteen million ($16) dollar Vieuxtemps Guarneri side by side with a Strad? And not just any Strad.
    Wow. Thank you for uploading.

I usually don't care for performances of this piece because there is never a good blend between two famous artists who have completely different sounds--but this performance is great because the two people blend extremely well. I'm so glad I can now listen to more of Anne's recordings on Spotify.

I discovered this music as a teenager 40 years ago and at the time I was heavily in to Iron Maiden, Metallica and Slayer. In my opinion this was heavier than anything I had ever heard before and Anne is completely embodying the intensity that I always envisioned while listening for all of these years. She looks like a complete rockstar here 14:10

The Auer Strad has tremendous carrying power...almost overpowering the Del Gesu at times. What a beautiful performance though..one of the best I've heard.

Anne is a true master. And what a peculiarly sweet sounding violin she plays. Fine, fine, fine chocolate for the ears.

Surprised to hear Gluzman´s Auer Strad sounding as good if not better in the low register than her great del Gesú

Gretting a question, Vadim Gluzman was using a stradivari too?

He was the only one playing on a Stradivari.

Аннушка очень эмоциональна и слегка пережимает...и темп, как стремительный ручей весной в горах ...Страд Ауэра сопрановый, Гварнери меццо, если поменяться скрипками или партиями тембровый баланс был бы гармоничней.
