Been a fan of your plugins for a long time! Watched countless hours of Stu's videos, love how he works and explains. I made the switch to Resolve and have to say, I really miss VFX suite... Do you have any plans on making it available for Resolve, too?
I think the next major thing you can do is to somehow have real 3D particles from OBJ models. I mean particles that use a real 3D model. I know there is a workaround using a custom particle that has a composition with a rotating 3D model (for example) but its not the same. If Element 3D has had this option for almost 10 years you can build something similar, that doesn't melt your PC. The simulations are pretty cool direction too. Overall this is one of the best plugins you can get for the price! Keep doing what you are doing! You are amazing!!!!!
@@MaxonRedgiant being able to turn those static images into 3D with Mir or Particular. I am thinking of a better “Displacement Map for particles”. Imagine a static photo and being able to change the animation for the cloud. Or easily animate fire from a static image. Basically a powerhouse Displacement Map w/ particles 🙏🏻
@@MaxonRedgiant, actually it may not be necessary since Particular already supports .OBJ and Displacement map. Maybe have a new effect for DepthMap, DepthMatte part of Universe suite. To me, the whole suite is worth it instead of multiple vendors.
I feel like the creators who make their own effects made red giant scared to do anything else new also sad asf how much they've slowed their development speed
The release came out at the end of March, so it’s called the March 2023 release, but you are correct; this video publicizing some of the new features in the release is indeed being published in April.
That symbol mapper is amazing I need to test this!
It's a shame Red Giant's tools have dramatically slowed down in development speed, but at least it still seems to be maintained for now.
Awesome!!!

We've had a few requests for such things. Which tools would you most like to have? Would you expect to find them in Resolve or in Fusion?

Very cool, Red Giant. Performance improvement is always nice. Love Supercomp. Any ideas using AI, depth map.
We're always looking for new ideas for tools to give artists more control. What sort of things were you thinking of?

It's April not March
