A special thank you to Ridge for sponsoring this video. It was great to finally get to meet my work team members face to face after working together for so long and grateful to get to share a meal together. But it was back to work after that and after pulling an all nighter, I had to prioritize getting some rest or trying a nice meal. I chose the latter and I'm sticking to it.
A while back, I got the visit the Tandoori Flame back in Vancouver, BC; it touted as North America's largest Indian Buffet and it certainly met up to expectations. As luck would have it, the Tandoori Flame Buffet started in the Greater Toronto Area, and I couldn't resist paying visit.
Little did I know it was during Ramadan and while it restaurant did not appear full during the start of service, things certainly changed after sunset! Shoulder to shoulder at the buffet, it was packed with hungry patrons after a long fast. Quite festive yet competitive for the great chaats, curries, dosas and more! This is always my favourite destination for Indian cuisine from all parts of India and at a buffet, one can sample and try the different varieties till their heart’s content. Appies ranges from the aloo tikka and pani puri, to pakoras of all kinds - fish, paneer, and more. Shift a little further and you’ll find a station that’s serving dosas made to order. Turn around, and you’ll find Hanil hard at work on the Tandoor with the meats and naan. If you have a sweet tooth? Then watch as Alvin fries up Jalebi hot and fresh then drench in the sweetest syrup. Certainly a feast for the senses all around!

Good you went to Mississauga, I held the Brampton one in high regard forever and it was always better than Mississauga. But since the pandemic cleared up a bit, the Brampton one started to go downhill. Stuff like taking the salad bar away, always melted ice cream. The food is still great but for the money, Mississauga is MUCH better and well run. They put in that bit more of effort that makes the price worth it.
thank you good content 😁😁😁
Next time when u pour the rice on the plate... do it in a "+" or X shape this way the gravy are divided
Tim you are such a cool guy so kind and respectful your manners are off the charts
It was quite a nice experience and really grateful that everyone was such a good sports 🙂
Unfortunately, being a HALAL feast, dishes have to have spit of the imam, lead prayer man anunprefeeerred ingredient in every dish preparred

Grow up!!!
@@angelstarz3367 i had that's y cd sensibly warn u but hey woke you enjoy eating spit food
This place truly is da BOMB when it comes to Indian food. The selection and variety can satisfy the pickiest eater. My dad who is very strict about his food intake, had 3 plates of food. I had never seen him eat more than half a plate all my life. This place is that good!
TIM I have said it before, you are the nicest Food/Travel Vlogger on UA-cam!! Your videos are a LESSON to all on UA-cam on how to positively interact with everyone!!💯❤
Thank you again🙂
@@TimLeeLetsGo I agree thoroughly enjoyed the food with you lol TIP: The best way to enjoy biryani is never mix anything with it esp. because it is in itself made with soooooooo many spices. Eating it by itself allows one to identify and get the aroma of each spice separately. Some ppl. have it with dhall which I refrain from too - cheers and keep going Lee
I don’t eat Indian food myself but always enjoy watching you choose the foods you like and eat them with enthusiasm. You are charming and so lovely to watch. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻
Indian and Thai are arguably the two best and most diverse cuisines in the world. The complexity of flavours is just so amazing.
I was scared for years to try, BUT I did when friends I was with were out shopping. We went to an Indian Buffet in Winnipeg, and boy was I surprised, the flavor was FAR FAR better than I expected!! I urge you to try one day, you might too be pleasantly surprised...
Nooooooo seriously???
When you reached for the syrup soaked balls after the melon I said "No!" out loud, as they are the sweetest desserts I have had. Thanks for sharing your Indian feast. I used to go for Indian for lunch every week with my coworkers who picked their favorite places. I love the curries and sanbar and naan.
Jalebi is pure sugar.
@@toolbaggers made from a flour mixture, fried into spirals and thereafter soaked in a thick sugar syrup.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us.. your warm nature and good spirit always make me happy.
Thank you so much for the kind comment. Really great experience at the buffet
This buffet is really close to home for me and I've always wondered if I would enjoy it. You've done a great job showing what they have to offer. Thank you!
Everything looks so flavorful! Great video. Thank you!
Quite a large variety of foods to try at the Indian buffet 😋
Hi Tim I hope you are well. Indian food is on the top of my list of favourite cuisines to enjoy. That food looks fabulous 😍 I would be in my glory in that buffet. Thank you for sharing
Tim, you are an incredibly gracious man and make everyone who cooks these fabulous dishes feel appreciated. Do not ever change.
Thank you so much for your kind comment again 🙂
Tim, you are such a joy to watch. Thank you for a great video. Tandoori Flame is now on my list of places to go in Toronto!
Just discovered your channel. Love the content. I hope your channel grows. You seem genuinely happy and have such a delightful personality. Your review was really good!
Outstanding as always !!! I always look forward to your epicurean reviews !!! Wishing you all the best !!!
Really feels so good to watch you pronounce all the names of the dishes correctly. It was a beautiful video to watch.
You're always so friendly and sweet, so polite and a wonderful positive attitude 😊!
Love watching your travels!
Tim, all of the food looks delicious! Wow!
Thank you for bringing us along! Safe travels. 💜
It was quite enjoyable and I was initially surprised that it wasn't too busy...but that certainly changed 😆
Tim Lee-fix. Thank you for another great food adventure. And being so kind. You are appreciated.
Tim Lee fix lol😅
Thank you so much for reaching out.. very enjoyable 😋
What an amazing food adventure in North America. Thank you Mr. Lee for another great video. :)
It’s so nice to live vicariously through you for a different but absolutely delicious looking array of food. Wonderful to have a change.
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Tim, of all the foodies I watch you are my favorite. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind comment 🙂
Lov Indian Food..
This was a great buffet !
You always do a wonderful job! Sharing with us thank you
It was a really nice experience after a tiring evening of work 😋
Hello Tim...love it that you are having a wonderful meal. Take care God bless!
"a mess is a good sign of a great meal" 😆
With spicy sauces/beans etc I like to use sour cream on the side. I understand the Indian cuisine uses yogurt for that purpose.
The great looked GREAT.
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much.. many times I'm surprised at some of the things I say in the videos
I always enjoy eating my meal with one of your videos, Tim! 👍
Tim, you make everything look so tasty. Thanks again for sharing some more Indian food with us. You are so knowledgeable with the names of the dishes. Some day, I hope to give Indian food a try and a buffet would be the best way to sample a good variety. Hope you were able to get some rest & sleep after working such long hours. Take care.
Buffet is not really the best place to try any cuisine for the first time (unless ur trying an actual Thali at an authentic Indian restaurant, preferably in India). The priority at most buffets generally is quantity over quality
Thank you so much Mr. Lee for showing us this fantastic food sir. Love all the videos you bring us.
Really grateful to get to experience this buffet and the folks there were great sports 😃
Looks delightful. Thank you for showing us this buffet
Great experience and would highly recommend 😋
im so proud of you nearing 100k ...u deserve it...watched u since the start
Just so grateful to get to connect here. Thank you so much 🙂
I went to a Ramadan dinner last night. The variety of foods were amazing
Was it packed?
@@TimLeeLetsGo yes!!
An enjoyable experience! Thanks for sharing! There's a small restaurant near me that specializes in Indian cuisine. Once a week they offer a buffet with a nice variety of dishes. What you share with your viewers is another way to support diversity. Thank you & be well!
Thanks for reaching out Lynn.. really great experience here and it was quite festive...
I love all the different foods you try. It's a wonderful education for people like me that know little about Indian cuisine. 😊❤ Thank you.
I think that’s why a buffet is so nice to experience a new type of cuisine. You get to try everything and pick and choose those that you like.
Exceptional description of the food, making me hungry...blessings brother.
Hi Tim! We love when you add a “partner” to foods!! We don’t want our food to be lonely so having more than one piece is always a great idea. We haven’t had Indian food in quite some time so watching the variety available at this buffet was nice to see!! Another great video as always!! 🙌🏽😋😉
Awesome, thanks for sharing this.
Thank you so much🙏
Great video Tim 😄
Thank you so much for making a video on Ramadan 🤗🤗
It was quite the experience to see everyone there... Everyone was in a celebratory mood
Indian feast was so enjoyable to watch with saucy dishes and bread that are ultra comforting. I would pass on dessert due to intolerance for super sweet items. Thanks for the full experience.
That's a good call.. regarding the desserts.. some for very very very sweet indeed 😁
Hi Tim...glad to tag along with you to Tandoori Flame...everything looked fabulous as usual...glad you enjoyed your meal, but the dessert, I knew the ball one was going to be way too sweet, even for me 😋...safe travels and God Bless ?😘🤗💘
Hi Jade, it's hard to describe when something is actually sweeter than sugar 😉
I’m watching this from Los Angeles, we have some good Indian restaurants here but yours is very nice. I’m impressed by the quality of food for a buffet. I enjoyed watching this video.
I would love to try this restaurant! Food looks delicious😋
Great vlog! Hey Tim, please consider doing a food tour around Canada and America. There are tons of markets and restaurants that are ready to be revealed. Nothing better than to be reviewed by Tim Lee!
Yum.. it looks so great!
Damn, I’m gonna celebrate Ramadan next year! Thanks for the vid🤙🏽👊🏽🤘🏽💯
Looks amazing!
This looks like a great place! Thanks for sharing. Also- sauces mixing are just fine! Sometimes it makes the food even better! ^_^
I agree 😋
Looks like you had a great time and experience
I thought it was quite quiet at the beginning but boy did it pick up.. very festive
Yay! Toronto content!
Really enjoying Toronto for sure
Never had Indian food but this video makes me want to try a few things. Thank you
I hope you get a chance to try! The buffet is extra nice because you get to try a variety of things a little at a time 😃
SO MUCH DELICIOUS LOOKING FOOD. THANKS FOR SHARING, KEEP UP THE AWESOME JOB 👏🏽😁👍🏼
Thank you again Tracey 😀
I was yelling “noooo!!” when you picked up the sugar ball type dessert after the first super sweet dessert you ate haha! Definitely did the same thing when I first tried it 😂 love the videos Tim!
Now that I know about this place.. I might plan a quick trip and fly there for the buffet..
Great job Timmy ❤🎉
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks for uploading this video...we love to go to this place many many times...as an Indian I wish after this video peopple from other culture also enjoy food there ❤
I used to work close by, but before this restaurant was here. That food looks so good. I so wish I still worked in the area.
That is a great area! I wish I had some time to look and shop around 🙂
Really enjoyed this video.. wish I was dining with you!
Thank you so much! So grateful to get to connect with everyone here 🙂
Thank you Tim. I'm not familiar with Indian food so now I know what I will try when I go to an Indian buffet. 😊
I think the buffet is the best way to experience Indian food.. trying a little bit of everything
Which planet you've been livin
sooooo jealous of such an abundant buffet! That's it! I'm emailing to find out why they haven't hit my city yet! 😂😂
Looks really good I am going to have some of that kind of food soon
Tim loves Indian food. Divine indeed
Great clip 👍
I love Indian food. This looked wonderful
Enjoyed seeing the buffet. Looked great. I wish there was more of a description of what each is. Some I know. I crave Indian and Thai flavors but none of my friends like it. 😕
Well done.. COMPLETE RAMZAN with SOUTH INDIAN Spread included Lovely mate..
Aussie from Tamilnadu- Coimbatore- Manchester of South India.
Cheers,

Absolutely really enjoyable dinner.. so much variety so it was nice to try a little bit of everything 🙂
That was yummy TIM. I love Indian food though I've not tried too many dishes. In another lifetime we will eat ayce places on mars. 😉 I look forward to all your videos. Have a great weekend. I have some tests next week keep your figures crossed. Much respect.
Thanks Tim!! A new place for me & Fam to go the next time i'm in the GTA.....
Yes, you can eat with your hand, the right hand not left.
@Ramy I know that culture is culture. That being said, however, it seems uncivilized and unsanitary to eat with your hands.
Very nicely done review. Now my mouth is watering. Haven't been to an indian buffet for a long time. Oh that yellow dish was Khadhi pakora most probably.
Thank you so much... I was wondering what that was 🙂
I hope its clean behind the scenes!!!!
Yes. I want to eat there one day too
That white jello which was super sweet is called petha and since the moment you were taking it in your dish, i was screaming Nooooo...😅
When your face lites up when you taste something delicious or today too sweet it's like I'm eating it myself. Thanks for the video Tim.
Hey Tim, first of all, thank you for this amazing video! One question, are the beverages included in the buffet price? Thanks
Love Indian foods and make a pretty good Kema. As much as I love the desserts I find them all to be very sweet. Nice after spicy curries tho'.
Tim, what is that orange drink you had? I always order soft drink but I want to try something different next time. What drinks can you recommend?
Hey Tim, I'm always curious - How do you decide which faces to blur? Are they people that have specifically asked you to not be on video or is there some other way you decide? Thanks for the great content.
Can you please mention how much is cost? Or if there were any discounts for large groups? During Ramadan
Everything looked delicious 😍haha I know someone too who freaks out when their dishes/sauces touch LOL… and SO cute at the end 🥰
LoL I know 🤣. I can see them squirming
Bro , I'm the same as your friend , food can not touch each other !! Thanks 😊 for sharing !
I think my friend was on the edge of his seat 😉
It all mixes in your tummy anyway!
TIM- Just a FUN suggestion, why not save some selected "Bloopers" (that everyone who makes videos experiences!!) and one day make a video of FUNNY BLOOPER segments?? We wouldn't be laughing AT you, but WITH you!!!!
Thank you so much.. There are loads of bloopers 😆
i really crave for pannj puris..had a colleague who went down ate with us
I liked your video good job 👏 thank you
you ate petha sweet whole omg!!! even indians can't handle that sweet in one bite.
Yess
❤️
They need to open one up in the U.S.
Looks pretty good
I hope they do! I noticed Washington state is lacking a few buffets here and there 😉
I love all Indian food specially Street Food💕👍🏻😋🌺
Ahh I had high hopes for this place I went to the Mississauga location and even saw the server who served me in your video, but sadly it didn’t wow me as much as it did you, just thought the food was very spicy and for someone who doesn’t like spice as much I thought I kept burning up each dish (My fault knowing Indian food is usually spicy) The only good things imo were the naan and the deserts!
Tim you are amazing and decent man. All the respect from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Warmest regards from vancouver. Thank you so much for reaching out and for the kind comment 😀
You are my tan deari...my dear Tim..this video was awesome just like your impeccable taste!!!
LoL 😆 thank you so much! It was a very fun experience 😃
I have to try Indian food Steven from Boston ma back on your channel!🇺🇸😎🍀⚓️
Unfortunately I live in Florida, a long distance from this restaurant 😢. Indian is my favorite cuisine. Normally don’t like buffets because I always overeat and feel bad afterwards. However this buffet is amazing. I have a hard time deciding which dishes to order at Indian restaurants. There are several dishes that I always must order, this buffet looks like the way to go because you can taste a little bit of everything.
hey Tim, do you have any Atlanta recomendations???
Cheers to you.
That food looks delicious.
Very nice to get a variety of dishes to try😋
And when the universe says LET THERE BE light bless you great video
Thank you so much...very great experience here😋
$35 for the buffet. $10 for a soda. Plus taxes and tips. End up paying $100 per person for a dinner. Damn. You need to be rich to eat at restaurants now days.
Who is going to pay these prices? I'd walk out. Also, a lot of the stuff these places make that they charge a lot for can easily be done at home. LOL.
Very very nice Vlog 😊
I have family all over Canada and never have been there
