  • This is a local install of EQ Emulator where I have assembled a raid team of 72 characters. I've decided to invade Crushbone at level 5 and up to take down the big bad Emperor Crush (and level/gear up a bit)
These characters were created a short time ago and aren't wearing any equipment outside their newbie weapons.
This iteration will go through content a bit slower, but I plan to spend more time working out issues that my 54-box team couldn't complete.
The MacroQuest macro library, e3, was used to create the scripts that control these characters, which can be found on Project EverQuest's forums.

I always wanted to raid a low level dungeon. This felt like the best choice.

I definitely want to see this progress to where Dave started in Velious.

I'll be progressing through Classic, Kunark, and I'll create more Velious/Luclin videos as I get there. Will try to spice it up with added value so that people aren't just watching the same fights with more toons. As I read comments, I'll find more things to discuss as the fights are going on.

Started a server up. Gonna order some more ram but am running 12 atm. Zoning into misty thicket doesn’t work and lava storm is a wacky zone but I’m mid 30s and having a blast with the 12 now

I believe there is a client zone map update for classic that fixes a couple zones.

Hey there - as mentioned by Jon in the comments, there is a zone update for several classic zones that can be found on the Project EQ website. I did not install these updates, which has caused a few issues, but I do recommend snagging those zones

Just got my server up and running. Made the first group and starting all the macro work. Question: my computer is like 8 cores so would likely only handle half my raid team. But I’ve got two of them. Is it not a big deal to run the other half from that pc and just use it for the bards and heal chain, maybe the nuke team? Just gotta run two version of MQ I’m guessing and use two keyboards/monitors. Would connecting to the server be easy on the other pc?

There's a script in the CreamoUtilities folder in your MQ2 install that will make EQ utilize all 8 cores instead of 1. This will immensely speed up framerate
