5 years ago I played this epic mix many many many fridaynights when I drove to my new girlfriend. My brother was very ill during this period and finally died of pancreas cancer. 2 big emotions comming together at the same time... New Love and Big Loss. 😪

Sasha is for me, still the outright master of progressive house mixing, this music is not for all ,granted. but if your into it, your deep into it, these tunes move me inside, and there's nothing else like it. it all comes down to the type of character you are, if you like it deep and moody with a little melody, and some good baselines Sash is still doin it. So,pull up along side and enjoy the vibe. as an aging raver and retired dj, Im fucking loving this sound as much as the first time I heard this man play 20 years ago ;he knows exactly what he's at. ..let them tunes roll baby : )

First heard Sasha over 25 years ago and he has been a lifelong favourite since. Will never tire of listening to his music, and he will always have a special place in my heart until the day I die. Great set for walking at night in the snow!

For all the negative comments , people understand progressive music is all about progression and this set defies that , Sasha is the master of cresting progression in music . This set takes you in to some another dimension. This is Interstellar stuff . Amazing :D

pratik patankar I'm confused when you say "this set DEFIES that" (what progressive music is)? or was that supposed to be "defines"? Because this set does not defy what progressive dance music is at all- this is the epitome of it! This track is in fact the definition of progressive... Love it!!!

96 I was able to drive a car.. was first introduced to the sound. Today- I will admit that alot of my view on life is bc of Sasha and John Digweed- Set aside the glitz and the glam- They helped to really inspire a generation. before apple made it cool. Digweed made it possible for people like Timo Mass to make a name and Sand Kliend- yea the Dutch Man- but Umm all i know is that I am gratefull for the Dj's I've seen and the music. P.S. Sasha brought Passion with a hint of the "Cure"

One of my favorite sets from the Man Like, and I’ve been listening to him for about 25 years. Some of the deeper, darker moments are just phenomenal. No wonder so many DJs are jealous. He takes the same records they use and creates magic.
Sasha is playing some deep gems here. Remember first seeing him in1989 a master of his craft man.if you heard this mix today in a club it would go of big time.
This cat is absolutetly amazing. If it sounds boring to you it's because this shit is 100% Sucka-free and not meant for you. Come back when your techno palate has matured. So happy to have found this.

It's like Sasha as a DJ mixing feelings .. he gets that level of losing yourself. Of being fucking angry. In bliss. Being depressed yet feeling ecstatic. Feeling. He gets it and he mixes accordingly. I cannot put into words what Sasha Involver means to me.
On a bus. Travelling. It's why electronic music is (if I have to pick) the genre for me. The man gets it.

I notice if you just scan trough and listen to tracks it's not as good.. if you listen from start to finish it's a whole different experience with him. He's just a master of blending, bending, and mixing in to a seamless .. i don't know the word.
34 years ago I carried his record boxes in to the club from a taxi in Torquay i was working in the clubs . and the rest is history. For me Sasha ..Digweed Emerson and the list goes on Renaissance Northern Exposure Goa Fabric the warehouse wasp factory ... a movement and culture started and still has values today ... go out enjoy your self .don't take the phone ....live in the moment you'll always remember. Some times ... all times are best in the moment .... dancing and bouncing of a complete strangers vibes because ..... just because ......

For me Sasha was the best..when he used to do his sets back in the days of the hacienda era and the whole scene at the time his sets were different..it was the tunes he choose and the way he put them together in a set that really put him out there...and listening to this set 20 odd years later ..he's still doing it..fair play...
This is a sound that needs continued to foreverness. It's a sound kids today haven't been educated in and that's a pity...for them. Music produced with thought produces thinking people. Here's to you and yours Sasha!

This is an outstanding set. I had the pleasure of been introduced to underground electronic music 14 years ago. Out of which I listened to this guy and his partner in crime for around 10 at least. This is why they maintain themselves at the top of the underground progressive scene, as the quality and skills they have developed during the years, is a that of a fine, clearly musical, storytelling, sound, and engineering. The craftmanship.

Im 16 from Canada, and my mom passed me down her electronic music taste and her rave experience in The late 90s... She showed me DJs and Producers like Paul Van Dyk, Carl Cox, Bad Boy Bill, Kaskade, Paul Oakenfold, and many more when I was 5 years old... She also took me to my first REAL rave when I was 4 years old at iDanceRalley in Toronto.
I respect the electronic music, and the history is has brought to us... I dont support the kids who go to these shows and say these shows are "raves" and barely wear clothes and shoot up drugs and yell and talk through the whole show. I appreciate what Sasha has delivered... Hes a true legend!

Man, back in the mid 90's he played here in Atlanta and at an after party where we partied for days. It was a crazy youthful blast! We subsequently travelled to other cities to catch him and Digweed a few more times. Epic!

Colombia listening amazing music
Back in 1994 I was visiting my cousin in Mexico City and that weekend him and his friends invited me to a Rave at an Old Abandoned Opera Theater from the 1920s, to my Surprise the DJs playing that night were non other than Sasha and John Digweed, Wow What an Unforgettable night for many reasons but the set they played got me hooked on their sound and style, their sets are Magical ! And I Still Love This Today, now 46 but next time Sasha comes to Los Angeles I'm Going !
