This is the nearest your gonna get to taking one of the original late 80's early 90's extacy pills without actually taking one!! this is musical extacy at its best ,. Theres no cheesy drum rolls its pure emotion ,and thought provoking . I still dont get how music can be made so perfect. Its light years ahead of any producers, dj out there.
Sasha was one of the best electronic producers in the world,alongside John Digweed,Paul van Dyk,Richie Hawtin and Tiesto(before starting to make crappy tv music).Nowadays there are only amateurs playing music who fill in stadiums with ppl.

@@aleksuaks8629 Sasha (Alexander Coe) was the front man. Behind Sasha was a whole team of producers and engineers. The main ghost producer for him was Charlie May. Check out his music and you'll realise that he was the mastermind behind this music.

A poignantly dark yet hopeful album that got me through a dark phase of life. Sasha is a master.
Same man. This album got me through the darkest time in my life. And like so many others really helped to accent my life. Sasha is incredible.
This album changed my life
...the transformative power of music.. ones consciousness can only improve upon hearing this album. Life might not get seemingly better, but the ability to function, and operate, can definitely improve. Heaven comes after we have died, hold out 'til then. Worship the Light within, and certainly shall we arrive at the most desirable finale (which lasts for millions-of-years). Avoid black-holes, and then may you shine amongst the stars - as a Star, albeit in human-form. I could go on and on forever... but won't; in silence is the best wisdom to be found.

Sasha's "Luzoscura" sets, in fact most of his "lockdown" work, is as good - if not better than this classic. This particular album from the Involver series is the best!

I can remember buying this cd from HMV in Oxford st in late 2008, I didn’t realise at that moment that me and my friends would have it on repeat for the next six months. We travelled through south east Asia, listened to it on beaches whilst the sun set, and rose without a worry in the world, life was easier then. It then came back home with me back in Australia and has sat in the glovebox of my car for a good decade.
No other album I own gives me goosebumps. M83 and into Thom Yorke is just epic.
Almost 9 years later and Invol2er still gives me goosebumps. Good as gold and never gets old!

13 years later, and I swear it's still amazing. From track 6 (Midnight) until the very end is the absolute perfect production that I honestly believe can never be replicated.

This album reminds me of beautiful times in my life, traveling in my car with my dog, leaving the sun behind me and entering the starry night to visit my loved ones.
God damn, it's been around 14 years since I've been crazy in to Sasha. He used to be someone I revered. Now that I've rediscovered him I feel overwhelmed.

For me Sasha is #1 in eliciting emotion on and off the dance floor since '97; I would never miss a release of his and can comfortably say that I have listened to Involver2 300x +
Frankly, it helps me concentrate when I'm working, relax when I'm travelling and gets me excited when I'm getting ready to go out. Truly amazing.
I first saw him live at the Freetown club in Stoke, then at Shelley's back in 1990.

Outrageous! used to belt this out in the car on a long drive in the sun, it's incredible, and then Home Video That You Might kicks in and then, well, my brain just melts in to mush at how good this mix is... M83 Colours mixing in to Tom Yorke's The Eraser just finishes me off.

This is a work of genius by a genius, the memories and feelings it invokes from start to finish until i die. I’d argue this timeless mix is yet to be beaten anywhere and hope that a younger generation will appreciate this like my generation has (now 51) thank you 🙏🏻 God thank you Sasha
Easily Sasha’s best ever compilation of all time and there have been a lot of greats... the way he crafts the mix is unbelievable; there’s everything in there - prog, minimal, trance sounds, downtempo stuff.

If you haven't already, you should definitely check out his other work as well, Airdrawndagger, Ivnolver, etc. Personally, I can't imagine how any of his albums could receive a decent amount of negative reviews. I will say that Invol3ver is by far his most minimalistic approach, but I'd attribute that more to what's trending in EDM and shouldn't be confused with a lack in skill. I'm happy you're really digging his sound. :)

Ladytron what a tune. The man is an absaloute musical genius. Even when I saw him in 91/92 . He never stops astounding me.

A masterpiece I had somehow let slip from my brain. The only good thing to come out of covid lockdown, is me rediscovering this. The cd has made its way back in to my car! Outstanding!
The most respect I could think of giving him was one night in SF when I just walked up to him and shook his hand. He was mingling out in the crowd, I was at the bar, turned around saw him and shook his hand, smiled and walked away. He understood what his music and talents does for people.
A pure masterpiece. Still listen to it once a week. Can't say the same for many other albums.
I was in junior high when this came out. I was starting as a dj. I didn't play at nighclubs at the time. On my first gig for a halloween party, instead of playing hip-hop or pop music , I played songs in this album. I believe we made better brain conections that evening.
2022 checking in. I bought this the day it came out in ‘08. I hope that in my lifetime this gets a vinyl press. Masterpiece, start to finish.

How funny. I’ve got my case for involver, but not the CD. I just found out now that this album existed! Holy freaking crap! Sasha, and Diggy are definitely my all time fave DJ’s. I’m seriously pushing my eardrums to their capacity atm. FOKKING AMAZING ALBUM! I’ve repurchased one of his other Global Underground albums, and two of the Northern Exposure ones as well. 😂🤙

I remember this tour.... saw Sasha DESTROY Vanguard in LA .... although it was early in the set, the best track for me was Rone - Flesh.... the groove, spaced out vibe in the club, and rumbling bass was so memorable. One of many ridiculous sets by the GOAT.
