    I did tile for 15 yrs and used the raimondi system. Doesn't get any better than systems like this , but I quit tiling 5 yrs ago and just install hardwood, lvp, and laminate now, my hands have never been happier

    You do great work, I do recommend putting them where the joints meet, it’s helped me a lot

    Yeah, I use those clips of mine aren’t as cool as yours and I have to put them all in myself. They don’t walk I want the walking kind like that.😮

      Rubber mallet, they snap off. You reuse the wedges

    Our tilers did that with our bathroom. Looked absolutely amazing. We had a builder come and put in tiles in our toilet the old way with the plastic stars because he was doing other work in the house. Way worse than the bathroom. Should have got the tiler back.

      Its beacause different brands change the size even if its supposed to be the same grout size

      @@carlosvillegas4740 When I mentioned the difference, he said he used the same spacing as those that you used in this video. 3mm. But it still looked way different. It looks less than 3mm to me. Very clean and even.

      @1toshi32 caused i used two different brand of spacers and the size did change and both were supposed to be 1/8

      These are mainly used as levelers than spacers. They make the tiles flush with the next if there's little dips and bumps on the sub floor

      They break off. You can just walk around and kick them off.

      you knock the wedges through and it breaks off leaving the bottom of the clip unseen under the tile 👍

    A plasterer I know said he’s not a fan of these, as he believes is encourages tilers to rely on not doing a proper basic job. I disagree. Why not use technology and other methods, if it makes life easier and does a better job!

      Could be a combination of things. It’s best to keep it clean around the clips and always kick them out next day if possible.

      @@Eylandertile they didn't want to break they chipped some of the tile used on the walls also tried to cut with variable saw please show a video of removing them

      @@kenkotula9883 was it a soft ceramic that chipped? In that case might wanna use pliers to pull straight out or not use them at all if they are damaging tiles. I’ve only had one system do that (I’ve tried maybe a dozen) and it was perfect level master on some porcelain floor tile which was odd. I attributed that more to the tile then the clip tho.

    Lippage prevention. They don’t level tiles. Prep and skill makes the tiles level.

    This adds 3+ steps to the process and if you dont know what youre doing they may cause voids in your tile.

      I was just gonna say this…usually I don’t use spacers because they are super inconsistent, I space them using my laser eyesight lmao… no but really it’s a little easier and faster just to eyeball, and you level the tile just by the amt of thunder you use

    i personally would use this system yoir creating voids under yoir tile i use the pullit up chrck coverage add and remove nessary thin set look repeat until its perfect

    tile guys gonna hate but that's ok. ppl are starting to do tile with no grout. all butted up n whatnot. wanted to cry really loudly n say man stuff for five seconds when i saw it first time. had to admit it with a shrug n a half smirk. looks good n really doesnt trap dirt. come to think of it saw it for the first time when i did it. saw it again a few times now though. 😊

      Thats a 16th grout line. Use a non sanded grout! You'll be fine!
