I live in sweet grass county ,montana.about 80 miles from Yellowstone park.an hour to drive. I've seen grizzly bears on the drive to work at the mine here.black bears,mountain lions,elk, bald eagles deer and coyotes are everywhere. Great fishing,rafting,hunting, hiking. My work is often in the mountains,roofing. I am lucky to be here.
This was an amazing video. I have lived in Montana my whole life. I grew up in a dysfunctional household. We never did anything like this. I would of given anything to be able to spend quality time with my family like this. Glad to see a healthy family structure. I was wissed away from the music to which I pictured myself doing these things one day. Thank you for the beautiful video. God bless you!

Mt Shasta, California is pretty, too. I've been to all but one of the places you listed (Shasta, Bend, Kalispell, Whitefish, Glacier, Zion). If you think Northwestern Montana is gorgeous, you should keep on driving north into Canada. Canadian Rockies are far more superior in beauty than our Rocky Mountains. By the way, I really like the music. I saw you commented on the artist's name in a previous comment. Great video. Happy Travels.
I agree with you S. P. I went to Banff National Park in Canada last month, crossing the border from Eureka, MT. I am looking to move to Montana in the next few years but being close to Canada will make it even more desireable. I would be able to go to Canada at least once or twice a year to see the Canadian Rockies.

The anniversary was for the creation of the National Park Service, not national parks. The first U.S. national park was Yellowstone National Park, which was founded in 1872.
