Haven’t heard “Imperial Units” in years and honestly cannot remember most of the conversions. We usually get metric and US Customary in tool kits like Trent and Jonty were using. I burst out laughing when the kids were on the moving sidewalk munching on donuts and love that donuts are your family’s thing. There’s always time for a donut. You ride an e-bike bc of course you do. What can’t you do? You live by your motto, you don’t want cancer to stop you from living your life, it’s not, and you’re living as if healed in so many ways. Lesser things could stop many of us, not you girl! Group effort on helping you reach your UA-cam goals.
You have picked up on my perchant for donuts, that’s for sure!! Those were plain and simple hot cinnamon donuts, the type that first got me hooked on them as a girl. You can’t beat them really!
And as for imperial units, I guess we call them that because of the British influence on our society. I was wondering if Americans called it imperial, because you guys seem to be one of the only people left using feet, inches, pounds and the like! Once you start using metric though, everything is so much harder because the base 10 system makes calculations so easy!
@@caitlinscancerchronicles lots of disciplines use metric, like medicine, mechanics, but we deviated from the plot and decided to go our own half in half out way in the 1970s.

Hi caitlin thank you for another amazing video , Caitlin i am not sure if i have commented in the past . I have a blood cancer multiple myeloma . I was diagnosed December 2023 after 7 months of being extremely u well . I was told by a doctor ohhh a virus , i was becoming increasingly unwell ( as a nurse i was trying to work . I was always very healthy and fit , so became very fatigued . Nausea . Weakness . Vomiting , only for my daughter rang another doctor at the same clinic which is only few minutes from my home , this beautiful doctor saved my life as she listened to me . After blood test ( day after test she rang my family and myself ti go straight to the hospital ( as my renal function had dropped from over 70 percent to 7 . So 8 days in hospital . Getting hydrated and antibiotics , i started to feel a lot better , thankfully specialist at the hospital , after checking my rash ( all my symptoms did a lot more testing , but they never disclosed to me , their concerns . As i think test for my blood cancer took about 5/6 weeks , so on 12-12/23 i was diagnosed with multiple myeloma , my haematologist and a team decided on a watch and wait , although now i am having symptoms , no appetite . Very fatigue . Weak , lost weight so maybe treatment may start soon , i have a lovely family . Friends , although majority of my family are in Dublin Ireland . I came to Australia over 30 years ago after getting married, my daughters are wonderful and beautiful friends . And i moved to Daylesford Victoria may 2023 after selling my house in macedon ranges . Then july same year became unwell , so i am glad the move was all done ( i try to live my best life and do as much as i can , i love making my own skin care and calming oils , i am so glad you are doing well . And you looked beautiful in this video ( you always look beautiful , and staying positive , enjoying each day ,you have s beautiful family , i was laughing when you were looking at the art work . Although beautiful . Expensive , i had to resign from my nursing position as my immune system not great , and with fatigue not good on shifts ( keep up the beautiful work videos and stay well ( love from Daylesford victoria ❤️❤️

I came hime from on afternoon shift 23/7/23 unwell , thinking oh a virus be back on track in a few days , unfortunately i became very unwell , Doctor think it was all brewing but i was doing double shifts during covid ,and family life so probably ignored my fatigue and weakness . I only worked one month since July snd only recently resigned as my company wanted to keep my position open for me , i was lucky as i had paid my mortgage and had no loans . I had sick leave and annual leave and income protection for two years , i only accessed that a few months ago : and with centrelink as i was a single mum . My girls are older now , i get a disability pension from them. So i am doing ok , i always watch my spending and pay my credit card off , Caitlin i understand your disappointment regarding bikes for your boys , but i am sure they will understand and i agree you cannot do everything, been here and supporting and loving our families , is the best gift you can give them , money . Material things are not everything, maybe next year or year after . You may be able to gift those bikes , i know regardless you will all have a wonderful day , Caitlin you always go that extra mile for your family and it is not easy when we have Doctors ( hospital appointments not to mention how unwell we can feel , please give yourself a pat on the back , write down all the things you do for your family , not just lunches . Dinners . Gifts , those little chats , hugs , words of encouragement, attending events for them ( when you’re unwell , these all matter . Please say whatever you need to say , debrief get it all out there , as some UA-cam content will admit they only show good days , that is not realistic , we are your friends and if chatting to us all ) makes you feel better , well that is the best thing today , my daughters and friends are all going to subscribe to your channel , you are doing amazing , we will get there Caitlin one day at a time , love ❤️ from sunny Daylesford ❤️❤️

@ I give it a half fold so it doesn’t get wrinkles, but no, considering I will often have two 13kg loads of washing on the line I often don’t turn all the clothes out the right way, and match all the folding to the person etc at the clothes line. It just takes that much longer at the end of the day when I’m trying to get dinner ready etc then during the day it will be too hot etc.
