Who else here got a huge smile on their face when the new video notification came through? I'm so glad you've decided to give this a try! Great first video.
Before stumbling onto Homemade Everything a few years back, I never would have understood how I could miss someone I’d never even met. But the feels are real. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to see you carry on with Mark’s channel. I hope it’s a little shot of therapy for you, just as it is for us subs. You and the kiddos are always in my prayers, thankfully Mark doesn’t need my prayers anymore...he’s in Heaven for sure, probably building something.
This grown man that hardly ever cries melted when she asked if you were talking to Daddy in Heaven. So heartbreaking. I’ve seen enough videos to know that she knows she can talk to him in Heaven any time her little heart desires! I’m so sorry that you lost him, he was a good man. Thank you for honoring his legacy and I hope that making videos can act as therapy for you and the kids. Stay strong and God bless Ya’ll!
It was just what i needed and i am sure many others needed that aswell even though we didnt know we needed that. My heart melted made me remember the good in life. Godbless her huge heart.
My heart's been breaking over since I realized what happened. I just found out five days ago. AnyWho, scrolling through the comments and I saw the number of likes was at 666. I can't do much but I can change that. Definitely not leaving that number on here. I know some of you will be upset but I think more of you will understand. I can't do much but I can remove the Mark the beast for this angel and his family🙏🏻🫡❤️🩹
Susan Vaughan Indeed! I actually looked up the meaning of Carriker about a week ago and it means “one who transports goods”, like a carrier. I think the Carrikers bring the metaphorical goods to UA-cam. They’re such lovely people.
So many times Mark got on here and just talked. No rhyme nor reason, just like a conversation between friends. That's part of what we all came here for and what drew us to your family. Today, you did the same, with some of the same little nuances that we attributed to Mark. In reality, they weren't just Mark, but you both. It was great to see and I hope you keep it up in whatever way you like.
Exactly. Very well said. I said in my comment something similar about posting anything she feels like and how we will all love whatever she decides to post. As we did with everything Mark put on his channel.
You don't have to be "...as good as Mark..." - you have to be as good as Jackie 😉, and so far you're doing great. Keep on the good work, although I really like the pantry in her "nature" style 👍
When I heard your son ask "are you talking to Daddy in heaven?" I say yes we all are talking to him on this video. All my love and support for you and you beautiful children. Stay strong we are all here for you. ❤️
I never knew Mark when he was alive, but I found his channel after he died. I tracked back a bit and followed his story and battle, and this video was just lovely to see. I'm going to stick around now should you ever make any updates on life. I'm so sorry for your loss, I wish you and your family the very best

As a widower who lost his wife at a young age with one small child I feel for you. It's been 11 years and it's still hard. Just do the best you can and that will be good enough. Children are resilient and you will see and feel Mark through them. We are all here to support you and the channel. So whatever you decide to do with it is okay with us. God Bless and keep you all safe through these trying times.
Jason Tiver I know this feeling also. My husband died 10 years ago on the 17th of this month. He was taken my the swine flu/pandemic I guess you would say. He was 46 and I 44 years old. Thank God our children were in their 20’s and both married. Actually our youngest son had gotten married in June 2009 so I was left alone and still am. He was and is the love of my life so I decided I would never look for anyone else. Like I said it’s been 10 years and it still hurts so much. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa to our then 1 grandchild that now has grown into 7!! Thank God for them because I don’t see how I would have made it without them. BUT, even though only 1 of them was born ALL of them know and love him and know how much he would have loved them. It hurts to think about it but I hope you both keep all your memories of your loved ones around to continue to show them.i hope you both continue with your lives the way you want it to be. I am sure they would be happy with whatever makes you both happy. 😊👍
@@wandafrmbama5803 My wife also passed on the 17th of April (11 years ago). She was 43 and I was 47. I decided after i loss her that i would never date or remarry. We were married 15 years and she was my soulmate. I am a person of faith. So i know this is a temporary parting. God Bless you and your family.
Jason Tiver now that is amazing. Yes without God, which is what I should have said first I would never had made it. We were married 27 years (we were young 18&20 and in love, had my first son at age 21 and second at 24) but josh I never could have imagined it would just get better and better. He went into the hospital on our 27th anniversary. I still miss him everyday and like I said before many times. “He loved me enough for a lifetime”. We both had/have faith that saw us through our life and He continues to carry me when I need Him most! God is so good. Thanks for sharing with me. He helps to know others who know what I am talking about. Thanks and God Bless
Dear Jaci, what can one say that hasn't been said a thousand times? We love you and your little Family. We will always have your back, not just as an homage for our Homie, but as a thank you for your years of being the half we all knew existed, but didn't get to see that often. You got this, there's an army of homies that will be awaiting your vids, even if you think you're less entertaining than Mark was, the sole fact that we get to know how you guys are doing, is more than enough for many of us. May God bless you and the kids.
The part where ellie said "are you talking to daddy in heaven" oh man that got me....i am so sorry for your loss and your strength is unbelievable!! God bless you mark and the kids!
Such a pleasure to see your smiling face! We love you because Mark loves you. Fantastic ocd pantry. The wood is actually quite attractive, in case you decide not to change it. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. God bless you and the kids.
"Are you talking to daddy in heaven?" That hit me hard. I know Mark is so glad that you are so strong! Hang on! Loved the vlog! You are actually very good at vlogging! I'll watch everything you will post :D
"Are you talking to Daddy in heaven." Oh my gosh, that got me. You are doing a great job with the channel, don't you worry about that. I hope you get comfort and support from the Homemade Everything channel family. Byeeeeee!
“Are you talking to Daddy in Heaven?” Immediately cried. Praying for you and the kids. Take comfort in the strength you have! Keep your chin up, keep praying, hold your faith tight and your kids tighter.
Oh my goodness, God has given you the strength and courage to let us have a glimpse of your life and the beautiful children you and Mark have brought into the world. The pantry looks solid as I'm sure a lot of Mark's projects are. I'm looking forward to seeing more. I played the video back a few times when your daughter said, 'Are you talking to Daddy in heaven'? Just listening to her, brought my spirits up. Your little boy is a mini Mark. We would all enjoy seeing more of ya'll. Byyeee!

To quote somebody from the past vid... A man doesnt die when his body decays. He dies when his memory, his legacy is gone... He lives on through you. through the kids, through the channel and everybody he knew...
The heart of Mark was showing us his everyday journey...just as you are doing now. Never mind how you think you’re doing because we all love you and the kids as much as we loved him! Thank you for ending with his style of “bye”. It made me smile remembering him in that moment.
"Mark was way better at this" because Mark had lots of practice. For your first video I'd say you're way farther along than 95% of youtubers on they're first attempt. Thank you for sharing, I can't wait to see you and the kids progress. Make videos about the things you love and you will gain the followers. We're all here for you. God bless you and your little ones!
I read this comment and thought, Oh, that's sweet that they said that. When I heard the little girl actually say it I cried. I'm so very sorry for your family's loss.
I was shocked when I saw a notification for HE, I never thought I'd see another video from y'all. My wife and I cried for a while after your last video.
You're doing just fine, Jaci. Keep it up ❤️
“Hi kids” lmao. Too cute
Nailed the “Byeee” I’m sure he would be proud.
Ev Sunshine- you're right!!!! I watched again today just to hear her say that!!! Totally nailed it!!!!

Immediately cried. Praying for you and the kids. Take comfort in the strength you have! Keep your chin up, keep praying, hold your faith tight and your kids tighter.
You are very entertaining and awesome, thank you for continuing this great channel we are all so proud.
Byyeee!
There's no God though
@@filip1997andersson You are sadly mistaken my friend! What you are seeing in this video is Christ shining through this young lady after going through something that difficult!
Wow..thank you..i so enjoyed his videos..such a nice young man..in all of medical science there was just no cure..he is watching you all though..i feel it..and he is prouder than ever..

I watched Mark for over a year, I’m so so sad over his passing. I’ve never left a message on U tube. But here goes. Mark was so amazing to watch his videos and his journey. he was so brave to share so much..I cried with you listening to your message there are many of people who didn’t leave messages that loved Mark.. I don’t know exactly what I want to say ,but god bless Mark with such a wonderful wife to be-able
Then I heard her kid ask, "Are you talking to Daddy in Heaven Mommy?" And I broke down.
That broke my heart to hear the kids say that to
Oh my gosh that broke my heart
Oh...that hit like a truck.
“Are you taking to daddy in heaven!?”
I’m sobbing....you’re so strong! Glad your still posting!
Oh my you are doing so well just talking to us..
Oh my goodness, “are you talking to daddy in heaven” just broke my heart. Beautiful family, kids are so amazing and you are so strong.
I read this comment and thought, Oh, that's sweet that they said that. When I heard the little girl actually say it I cried. I'm so very sorry for your family's loss.
Same
And the tears are falling....
I was shocked when I saw a notification for HE, I never thought I'd see another video from y'all. My wife and I cried for a while after your last video.
I want you to know that we will continue to support you and y'all's family through whatever you decide to do.
Just be you and know that you are loved.
P.S. I love your smile!!!!
Amen! I've been goig back and watching stuff I missed, then saw this and finally got to it as work slowed down.
I would love to see a “sticky note series” where you complete a sticky note each episode. Once you go through them all then you could make new sticky notes based on subscriber input. Challenge yourself to continue and expand the channel and you won’t regret it. We are all rooting for you.
Lovely idea!
This is a great idea. Everyone upvote so she sees this!
