- This is a practical guide to finding and sinking ships with the RB-15F antiship sea-skimming missile. There aren't any pre-briefed waypoints (well, there are, but we don't use them.) Nothing you'll see here depends on the mission editor, so these methods will work on MP servers.
Here's the mod I used for the extra kneeboard pages I use at 33:08 -- www.digitalcom...
First sortie:
Takeoff: 3:25
Weapon & radar config: 5:05
Explanation of Bx waypoints: 8:48
Launch: 14:58
Impact: 18:50
Landing: 21:05
Second sortie:
Takeoff: 27:30
Weapons config: 34:22
Launch (markpoint mode): 36:10
Impact: 40:05
Hostile radar lock on me: 41:42
Launch, both of us at each other (quick mode): 41:55
Impact: 43:45
Landing: 48:40
Thanks for the video, very informative. About the afk, with gears out it's shooting for a an aoa of 12 deg I think, so the speed speed will vary with weight.
My misiles are doping everything perfectly but 300 m before their target they hit water and explode. A really need help please…
Sadly, that's a bug, so there's nothing you can do until it's fixed. For what it's worth, HB has mentioned that the fix is in progress, so there's a decent chance it'll be in the next patch.
@@Viking355th thank i was getting flustrated.
Awesome man, enjoyed that!
Great explanation! Thank you!
Did you bind the numbers from the ck37 to your keyboard? Jeez
Yep! I bind them to the numeric keypad for most of the aircraft I fly. The 5 key has a little ridge on it, so you can get your fingers positioned right without looking down (or for VR users, without having to peek beneath the headset.)
@@Viking355th Oh ok very nice Ill do that, too!
Thanks for your really really nice tutorials. All of them are great and help me understand and love the Viggen even more. And thanks for pointing out the Mod :D
your tutorials are enlightening, the nav tutorial was more helpful than any other set of tutorials and guides I've come across... but please, for the love of got use the friggin centerline.
You mean the ADI centerline?
@@theeltea no the runway centerline. He says “all lined up” but he’s on the right side of the runway. Every. Time.
@@danielsmith5567 He's probably used to two ship checkerboard takeoffs as a wingman, he's lined up good enough though, probably with down to a degree accuracy. Now, the question is, with the recent update, the reference button doesn't really align the ADI, I wonder what has changed?
