This isn't the intended use for Std mode, though it is in the capability of the weapon. If you have std mode selected, you should select markpoint bx8 then do a tv fix on the target location using the radar. The system will then automatically generate bx6, bx7 and bx9. You now will have the requisite release queues and bluefor can rest a bit easier.
The Viggen has such a different design philosophy I forget after spending a long time in the Hornet. So this is great. Thank you "SUPRA" CAP!

You're not stupid bro. Its difficult to find enough time nowadays to LEARN how to use these missiles. Theyre very complicated. This is not an F/A-18C with his SLAM missiles where You put coordinates and thats it. Great respect to You!❤
Good to hear that I'm not the only one that has a busy life. I've decided to become a respectable pilot for the ka 50 and mig 21 bis and I'm glad if I can find a hour or two each week to practise.... In most cases it's not even that.
yeh that's the reality of it.
Great tutorial, have never done the easy way myself.
But remember with BX, you only have to set a target BX. The last BX is only to avoid collateral damage.

i can fire the missies but they won’t lock the boat and they won’t be skiming the waters surface. i’m trying this in and it still won’t work. any ideas?
Was using this method last night during a mission and it works fine
i've just learnt this method and ship hunting is almost to easy (bigger challenge when using RB-04 and it's shorter range specially when the target ship is jamming) =)
one thing though.... in STD mode the RB-15 will not use any pilot input and just search out the closest target and destroy it
so if friendly ship is in between just head out and come in from a different direction =)
and if one is unsure what range to launch just find the target ship with radar at 120 then set it to 60 and as soon as target is visible
on radar release the RB-15 =)

Thanks a lot for this video, Cap! I don't mind using the BX TV fix, but was having trouble getting through the screen ships, frigates kept shooting my missiles down. Tried going against just one screen and two cargo ships, with radar in passive mode and quick release. Almost got the frigate, missile very close and got shot down but the other missile reached one of the cargo ships. Having the radar in passive mode I didn't get any spikes until I released the RB-15Fs.
After mondays mission this is good
Are newer jet exhausts still so sooty? Every jet looks like it's a turbojet constantly running water injection, even newer planes like the hornet.

When Cap follows the missiles about half-way through the vid, there's a bar at the bottom of the screen. Why is the american flag displayed next to the name RB-15F?

you can change the program so that they hit different targets

I don't know about you all but I'm looking forward to seeing cap blow some poor random fisherman out of the water who just happened to be between him and his intended target.
I am kidding of course. The radar would show him if he had a clear shot or not.

From now on, all my naval strike missions not in port, I'll have the radar in passive mode. I was able to pick up a frigate, not the cargo ships that were with it on the radar. Well planned attacks from recon should avoid collateral damage :)
it dosent work the altitude red light is on and dosent let me drop even though i am at the right altitude and speed and all the swiches are in the right possitions help??
For me missile wont launch , any idea ?
