Love your videos. you mention a lot of things that most training videos will gloss over, like making sure there are no distractions, and also emphasizing how long training takes, i think many people expect it to happen over-night ^_^ keep it up!

My chi will sit and stay. But when I put her harness and leash on, she won't move. She freezes. Suggestions?

Any time is okay. But this guy waited till KiKi was a year and a half. I wouldn't wait THAT long.
Hey chihuahua nation! I'm wondering about "potty training." My baby (Tesla) is indoor trained, and uses the potty mats for dogs. She knows to go #1 on the mat, and has no problem with that, but for some reason, she does her #2 just outside of the mat on the rug! Her typical discipline is 5 to 10 minutes time outs in the pack n play - but if I don't catch her doing it, it's basically pointless to punish her for it. Part of me thinks it's somewhat deliberate - maybe she hates her food, IDK 😂... What can I do to teach her to do her business on the mat and not on the rug? Thanks in advance!
Rub her nose in the poo and then give her a good wollup with a rolled up newspaper while yelling: "NO!". lol
That's the way we did it in the 60's.
Just keep moving the feces on to the pad leave it there for a bit. She should get the message. My pup was doing something similar, his nose would make the pad but, I don't think he realized he didn't defecate from his nose. A few days of moving it on to the pad and he hasn't done it since.
A year and a half old? Why would you wait that long to train her in these commands?

Dude, pushing their back legs to teach them to sit is horrible. It can cause issues for them, and they can be very resistant. What you are SUPPOSED to do is lead a treat over there head, and when it gets past the crown of their head they will sit so they can continue to follow the treat. People PLEASE DO NOT press down on the hind quarters of your dogs to train them.
