I’v i’ve personally been studying ICT for about 18 months. The only reason why I’ve been able to pick it up so fast and learn some different concepts is down to this podcast and guests such as NBB. Even going back and rewatching some of my favourites, I’m still picking up new nuggets and gems 💎 . This guy is spitting facts. No matter how many strategies you are taught and how many courses you read, YOUR OWN JOURNALED EXPERIENCE is your best teacher. No two eyes can ever something the same way. Pick your own edge and stick with it. Even as a farmer, I experimented different protocols of planting maize for FIVE YEARS, until I got my own formula which is not found in any textbook of agric under the sun. It has worked for me at least four years and counting. So you have to develop your own edge eventually.
Advice: Journal All the Highs and lows and at what days they are formed from the year 2023-2024 and try relating them with economic calendar. Try to risk as low as possible like if you risk 0.15$=0.3% of 50$ and you goes on 30 losing streak of trades then that would be just 4.5$= 9% of your trading account and also try to get your stoploss at breakeven. You should only be taking 5 trades in a month. Don't go on rushing and over trading. If You don't know that: 1:What you are looking for? 2: Where your trade setup is likely to be formed And when? Then you should be studying alot not executing! Journal your trades because it is the Best book you will ever read: 1: Journal your best trades with a reason. 2: Journal your worst trades alot and in depth.
That part about using the 5m in conjunction with the 15m, and how the 15m being a great entry timeframe because of it not being that much different to higher time frames such as the 1hr is FREAKING GOLD @ 1:31:04 🔥🔥

100% agree on Omor's point of 'when you come full circle after 1-2 years, you will realise simplicity is profitability'. Wasted so much time attributing my losses to a 'lack of knowledge' which is not true. A trade with 10 confluences will still lose and a trade with 3 confluences will still win, the only way you can find out is to trade it with proper risk and consistency. Take every single trade that aligns with your edge. It is that simple. Do not let other traders affect your confidence in your edge. Trust your data and backtest. Nowadays everyone is selling some sort of enigma, if such enigma works they wouldn't be selling it. Honestly i feel that lots of trader influencers are deliberately overcomplicating their trades so they can justify the prices of their course. Cheers and all the best in your trading journey!

Enigma or whatever THE algo is called does exist & pieces of it have been given away for free right here on UA-cam to anyone willing to look, listen & learn. Most don't have the patience to put the work in. They want it handed to them on a plate right now. Their impatience is why they will fail racking up 10 confluences for a winning trade that doesn't work out because, well sometimes the strategy just doesn't work. Controlling my impatience (sometimes) is why I (sometimes) succeed more & more everyday.

What does it matter besides confuse newbies. Both opposing arguments make money. You think this I think that yet we both making money. Conclusion both work, find what works for you.
Hey Riz, my biggest key take away is:- The Idea of trying to find where the next candle is going to expand, if is not clear to me, then Im not trading that day, this is the 3rd time im watching, the idea really connect the dots.
Omar is correct, overcomplication of trading is a trap. After 15 years of trading myself simplicity is the name of the game. The best setups are plain obvious. ICT has some excellent concepts but using all of them simultaneously is a recipe for disaster. Your edge is a combination of 50% a simple technical trading strategy (newbies believe the technicals are 90%). The other 50% is restraining your ego from taking shitty setups in-between your A+ setups. The ego is what derails traders from being the best they can be in this game.
I will be on this podcast as a student of Omor in about an year as per my trading plan. Applause for Omor way of teaching and especially his homeworks and its impact.
You should make in every podcast a technical segment where you show the things you guys are explaining through the episode on the chart, so everyone can understand them better.

I have completed to track the high and low of the week for 1.5 years in ES, and the highs and lows really speaks Alot for itself. Now im also tracking the high and low of the day for 6 months
@@henryowens5343 If we are in Bearish week, usually Monday Tuesday will make the high of the week. Tuesday will wick Mondays high and then displace lower, we can expect Wednesday red close day. Vice versa, on Bullish week. Sometimes we might get a Wednesday news manipulation going against the weekly bias , but then The Thursday will follow the bias and Friday will follow to close lower than the weekly open. Finally, if on the perfect bias week, we get Monday Manipulation , Tuesday Wednesday Thursday red days, we might get a Friday Retracement.

NBB is a good thinker generically. Management of stops is what I find very interesting 🤩. In April 2024, I took 7 losses amounting to -1.6% even though my initial risk was 1% per setup. That's what happens when you are very objective. NBB is a smart guy no doubt 👏👏

This podcast just gave me more confidence. I've learning ICT concept for more than a year now. I'm trading a demo account and on profit. I want to purchase a small funded account. I'm also a swing trader, I thought I wasn't on the right plan when I was getting two to three trades a month.
