Life has taught me that I serve a God who specializes in SUDDEN SHIFTS. He's the God who can do it in a split of a second. The God of "JUST LIKE THAT!"❤
Life is teaching me that when i give someone help and the help is not recieved or my efforts are rejected, i retract my help. Do not cast pearls to swine. It may seem harsh but when someone genuinely needs your help, they will take it when you offer. You cannot find your peace in someone else's trauma. Be picky in whose burdens you choose to put on your shoulders.
Iife has taught me that It ( life ) is not easy and there will be challenges but as long as I am alive there is hope for better times ahead. Mental health and peace of mind is important. Restrict access. Make access to you private. Block or minimize contact with people who give off low vibrational energy or people who damage your mental health. I am stronger than I think. I have weathered the storms that life has sent my way so far. If there is one thing that will test your patience, perserverence, mental health and hope it is looking for a job. Job searching is work. 😢😢. As you pray for and look for a job, pray for a healthy working environent. Toxic colleagues or toxic bosses are the worst. Blood is not thicker than water. Some family members are horrible humans period. You do not have to maintain contact with your abuser ( whether financial, mental, verbal, spiritual or sexual) just because you happen to be related to them.
Life has taught me that one bad experience in a certain field or situation doesn't mean you will always have a bad experience in that area.... It just means you have yet another chance to do better
The intro is fantastic. Life is teaching me that when the universe/God wants me to learn something, He will keep repeating things until I learn the lesson. My takeaway from the episode is that I don't need to move in silence always..I need to have people whom i can share my life with comfortably.
Life has taught me “I am my biggest cheerleader, for every small or big win,I will clap for my damn self” Don’t sit and wait for anyone applaud you..at the end of the day,YOU are YOUR biggest cheerleader and Investment💜
Wow!! I have never thought of black tax in the context of someone giving their time,it’s always about money,I needed to hear that today. Thank you ladies ❤
I love the intro❤ Life is teaching me: Things do fall apart even when you have done your part. Worrying about the future will not solve anything unless you choose to do something. Life is and will never be fair. Understanding your seasons of life is key and the bad season can last for even five years.
Am a king-betweener and i think that that intro is everything we needed💯💯....its very very classy and oozes feminine power.. @tmi podcast KE ...Hongera🎉
Vulnerability is just being yourself. I agree and resonate with this. When you go through stuff or open yourself emotionally or react to a situation that is when you dig deep and continue to find even deeper parts of yourself that you do not interact with all the time. Vulnerability is in different shades and phases and so you discover and learn more about yourself constantly. So when you embrace vulnerability you are embracing yourself and when you shun vulnerability you are just perhaps not ready to deal with that part of yourself at least at that particular time.
I really like how you articulate your individual opinions, even if you don't agree with one another on how you view life experiences but the level of maturity in expressing yourself is amazing.
I really needed to hear about how life is both the amazing and low moments.I was just telling God how I cannot believe how “low” I have been feeling the past two days when I was at my highest point a few days ago.And I absolutely agree about the relief that Lydia mentioned.I feel relieved to know that I don’t have to rush this “not-so-amazing” experience because this is life too.And its not a waste. There is something to learn through it as well. Thanks ladies🎉🎉I appreciate the content, helps me to feel connected to home even while away.❤
Thank you so much Lydia, all I can do is be grateful,I lost my dota 2wks ago on a tragic road accident during a school trip..I am in pain and hurting but what else can I do,I am so helpless but in all whenever I can I thank God for this immense pain that He only understands.
I am so sorry mamaa..I can only imagine what you're feeling right now..no one should ever have to go through the pain of burying their child May God give you comfort during this tough time
I get what Lyd is talking about life being here..I've read A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle..it talks about that.. being here and now no matter how the situation seems..this is life right now.. practising this brings a lot of peace... It's a hard but doable practice..I totally get it.. I'm on this journey
Life is teaching us to let Go of what and who wants to go and stick to what and who wants to stay.Draining all our energies into somethings and they still don’t add up has been the biggest flex so letting Go and letting God take the wheel is the new era👌Adulting didn’t come with a manual. What a wow😩
On the time vs money on black tax, I feel like the value of time or labour is more compared to the money. Monetary value definately plays a part in getting things moving for example in funerals but the only thing that the bereaved family will remember is who was by their side when everything was going down! Time and labour beats money.
I have lost my best friend to cancer this morning. A bitter lesson life has slapped me with is check on those you love and just live. Life is soo unpredictable.
I love the current TMI Intro...💥. Life is now teaching me not to judge anyone nd everyone is really fighting their own demons....just help whenever you can but don't dare judge#Bekind
On the topic of black tax; we definitely need to empower our family members to break that cycle. Also, there is a thing called codependency syndrome, mostly because we think we are responsible for these individuals (excessive emotional or psychological reliance). Life has taught me to stop a false sense of responsibility; I can not solve everything for everyone, also hilariously joked that you are not junior holy spirit. We really can not do God's work, let us do our part and leave the rest. 😅
The wisdom you are sharing Lyd is so profound. Last week I lost my auntie (my dad's sister) and only learnt about it on the day of her burial and it pained me so much that I did not get a chance to attend her send off and grieve her. Much as it was a hard moment it brought healing because for the first time in many years I felt I was ready to let go of my father wound and to forgive my late dad let go of bitterness I have been carrying for many years. It felt so healing. Somehow my aunt passing on led me to finally feel like the time is right to heal.
The intro is giving me life, you look stunning as always , I see you lydia with your natural hair doing magic, I love all the styles and that hair style on you murugi is giving boss vibes
I agree with Lyd on the black tax, giving time as a care giver is harder than giving money, because the care giver's life is tied to that aspect of life predominantly
We all need love. All these shouting about being alone is a lie. Everyone needs a good, kind, loving touch. Everyone wants to be wanted and loved. But we are so entitled to our hurts, aches, and pains and comfortable being bitter. Wait until someone holds you, just a warm embrace, a kiss, we all melt.
Love the new intro, giving vibes of light soft girl era and everything in between ❤ Ooh and to add onto today's topic, one thing life has taught me lately is to embrace positivity every day because it's very easy to get stuck in complaining about even the littlest of things.
The introooo wowwwww jeezzz ....is this an American tv reality show or whatt woowww❤️❤️❤️😘❤️❤️the introoo .....the introoo it is just giving everything it should give actually moreeee
Without a doubt Lydia knows her stuff & is great at what she does. A wise man(Albert Einstein) once said,"There's a very thin, blurry line btn taking pride in one's body of work & delusions of grandeur."
You ladies are my besties, and I have shared you with my other besties, and the sisterhood has grown!😅 ❤❤If you ever make it to this side of the hemisphere 🇱🇷, let's have coffee, on ME!! Great and needed conversations, always! Keep at it!❤
Lyd I am with you on being triggered that on having a child solo and not in a two parent household. I am a single parent and I see how a child/children need healthy parents.
Personally, I skip the content on sex and anything else that is outside my alley. We all have that choice, I do not think anyone is forcing anyone to consume everything; take what helps and what you need and leave out what does not resonate I think of this as being equipped; you choose how you use the information or even if you will take it or skip it. Also, some things can be just for knowledge not really to go into practice. A wise person once said, your lack of knowledge on things does not mean they are nonexistent.😇 My thing about God being enough is deeper, it is that; when you read the Bible it has many solutions; love, faith, working hard, perseverance, teachings, encouragement, patience, prayer, seeking counsel from other more qualified people, grace, prosperity, etc.
Beautiful ❤ amazing new montage ❤❤ I love you two You're the big sisters I don't have. Always watching you from Ghana.... looking forward to meeting you in person sometime😅
Gosh.... Lydia that twin thing......touched a nerve...woi black tax. I am learning they are so many things that used to make me anxious and worrisome that I now realize are just not worth the worry or anxiety. I remind myself they are not matters life and death.
Life has taught me that even in the middle of crisis😢find something to smile about 😊,,🌹

I love how TMI balances, today we're deep in beducated... Tomorrow we're dishing out reality checks! I love it here❤. A lot of take homes 🫶🏾
The balance❤
1.Life have taught me that storms are part of life ....
2.Expectations should be zero
3 .Not everybody have capacity to understand you deeply ❤

It may seem harsh but when someone genuinely needs your help, they will take it when you offer. You cannot find your peace in someone else's trauma. That is valid at 100%

Yes ma'am!!
The Intro is beautiful. It reflects friendship, femininity, softness and just happiness. What womanhood should be. I absolutely identify with it.
Life lately is teaching me that in every down fall, I will eventually rise up.
Its part of the process!

Murugis' hair, wooooow,,, looks so good on you🤩
Can I just mention how Murugi's hair is looking so cute. 🥰 New attachment to my hair inspo folder.
Honestly..I felt the same..cute locs
I'm at that point in my life I feel I don't have to have life figured out. Lemme just breathe and see how things unfold
Figuring things out takes time so don't stress about it.
THAT!
I really like how you articulate your individual opinions, even if you don't agree with one another on how you view life experiences but the level of maturity in expressing yourself is amazing.
Thank you!
The Intro is giving🥰🥰. The triangle is called Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs☺, Good to hear and learn from you both♥
