I agree with the sentiment that a couple should try meet halfway. Let me share my story. We had agreed on 3 children. My first child almost killed me, but what is a woman’s brain when it wants to forget☺️. My husband would not hear of more children, he kept telling me he was fine with a family of three coz he wanted a family with me not just a family. Long story short we were assured that any other pregnancies would be monitored closely throughout and during delivery. So we went on and got pregnant again. Yours truly here was still adamant about 3 children. Four months into the second pregnancy, I called my husband for a meeting and informed him that 2 was going to be the number of our children coz I knew without a doubt that I wasn’t going to be pregnant ever again. I even went aged and had my tube tied. I was D. For DONE. Sometimes we think we know until we really really know.
Next time I will share how I found out I was addicted to it’s definitely Wednesday brought to Us by TMI love and Light 💕💕

Am an FGM victim and intially i thought like Lyd, i once had even written to Lyd concerning this coz it was really affecting me, as for my own experience i changed that narrative that its never the same especially sexually and this really affected my sexuality for years and this inturn affected my pleasure but one day i decided to first make peace with the situation coz there was nothing else i would have done. then went on a journey to educate my self and its been the best decision ever because i got to learn that pleasure can de derived from many ways just like Murugi says, so many that you would be shocked and now from my experience i enjoy like nothing, i got to learn my body, got to learn other pleasure spots, i had to deal with that mindset that just coz i dont have a clit i wont enjoy pleasure and as a victim i would say everything changed for me after all this journey and i dont need even penetration to climax. Thanks to my friend who walked this journey with me, i can say alot honestly. About a guy rejecting me coz of a situation that i didnt have control for thats their problem honestly what i strongly believe a man that is genuinely for you wont mind coz and this am talking again through experience.

We can't compare circumsission and FGM in this case. I don't think girls choose FGM for themselves, it's an act that's imposed on them. One if the biggest reasons why it's being fought against. Circumsission is for health benefits which are already scientifically proven......And FGM causes the biggest long life risks that I have ever seen.....From trauma to scars that can't stretch which cause alot of tears during delivery. FGM isn't circumsission....it's Trauma and invasion

Y'all really are a safe space for a lot of people..especially the young ones. Keep up the good work. I think it would be a good learning experience to hear from a victim of FGM and how that impacts them in general as well as in matters intimacy. And, although I know this may be tricky due to cultural norms and stigma, an uncircumcised man.

About the femme-femme dynamic in a relationship. Hetero folks are raised in a hetero environment so they find it hard to imagine that in a sexual encounter there is just two women. But it works.
