The first time i visited Lumpini stadium in 1988 there was a very small shop selling WINDY boxing gear & a lady serving, she made me 2 pair of custom shorts with my name & gym on them for £10 gloves i think at that time were around £20/£25 for 16oz but they were the old style lace up,then i found a guy just down the road who made thai pads i got 3 pair for less than £50 & they were great pads & lasted years,
How the sport has progressed commercially is amazing since then
