Yes but i could order them from germany and they ship out of san marino and are cheaper then in thailand in this shop that is strange. Also the shin guards from yokkao cheaper online direct of yokkao

I'll put that on the video list... I bought those fairtex gloves from the gear shop across the road from Unit 27.

I've seen guys wearing XL and above. You can get them but might need to go to the markets.

So do you personally bring your own gear to Thailand or do you just buy gear there? Just trying to understand your setup.
In previous years, I bring my own from home.

Are these local stores or are they set up for tourist? I would love to see the stores the locals go too
These stores are the official stores for Fairtex etc. They look the same as the ones in Bangkok. The markets is the only other place where you can get cheaper gear but it will be a generic brand.
When I was there in 2017 (Bangkok) we were given the address to an area that seemed to be the “manufacturing district) back then I bought windy and twin gloves for around 25-30USD (velcro and lace-up). There was a store in there that sold all the major brands but they didn't have large quantities of the same items (meaning just because they had red bvg1 fairtx gloves on the shelf didn't mean they had more in the back) groups. We got great deals on gear

Bring them from home. Most of the gear here is around the same/similar price to back home.
Do any of these shops sell lace up gloves instead ?
I've seen lace-ups but hard to come by... best to buy from back home and bring across.
Do you cut your own hair or is there someone local that does that type of cut?
I go to the barber on fitness street. It costs 300 Baht :)

Is renting gear from Tiger or Dragon Muay Thai a decent option for a few weeks?
Hmm... it costs 107 baht per rental per day (Tiger). That's around 2,000 baht over a few weeks. Buying gloves outright will cost about the same plus I recommend buying for hygiene purposes.
