This is the best review, he gives the most valid reasons for cards and has actually been right about so many things when other reviewers were being too indecisive or flat out wrong. He has the best explanation for cards and reviewing on a deck base is the best way to review cards in hearthstone imo. It's why cards that people have overlooked have become meta defining. The deck I'm most excited to play is onyx bishop priest.

Looking back on all the expansion reviews Andrey has been the most consistent. I don't think he's the best player but he's definitely the best at making decks imo.

Arcane anomaly is actually extremely op in miracle rogue, you play it with a backstab to gain initial and if they can't deal with it you straight up win.
Priest is already going to be low-key broken with Arcane Anomaly (+ power word shield). Very good and fair review. Worth the watch. Wish we had this kind of voice a week ago.
I like Reynad's idea of implementing new mechanics. I think if for example Purify could be something like "1 mana Unsilence (where it erases all buffs/debuffs on a card) and draw a card", that would be pretty cool. Works against keeper and alderma etc.

i have found pantry spider surprisingly good. a key point to consider is the fact that it basically guarentees you a beast living to turn 4, which gives you a good houndmaster target, kill command enabler etc. also works great coining it out turn 2, into animal companion turn 3 for when you roll leokk
I made a card: Hearthstone Design - minion 0 mana 1/1 Battlecry: Consume 1-10 mana crystals at random, gain up to 20 stats randomly distributed, deal 1-10 damage randomly split among all characters, restore 1-20 health randomly split among all damaged characters, fill both boards with random minions.
Djinni reads, whenever you cast a spell on a friendly minion, cast a COPY of it on this one. Doesnt that mean that you DO get a second random 2 drop? Pretty sure it does right?
The thing I like about Reynard is that he literally says it as it is. "Copy savage combatant and win the game" is the actual truth. Also the fact that he says brain dead Druid deck and talks about design interaction is really refreshing and actually informative and interesting. Good job Reynard.
Coming to think about all the combo potential with Arcane Giant, one particular Naxx card just comes to mind: Loatheb. One of the coolest designed cards, useful in both holding off against combo decks AND as a part of a combo deck (mainly minion-based combo decks, to prevent board clears). Probably one of the only cards that deserve to be preserved in the classic set, maybe along with Reno Jackson.
You were wrong about the Silvermoon Portal/Djinni of Zephyrs interaction. Compare it to Power Word: Shield. When cast PWS with a Djinni, it draws you another card because the text is "cast a copy of [the spell] on this minion." So Silvermoon Portal with Djinni will summon two 2-drops.
I am sad you didn't have that awesome studio look like with the Wotog card review, that being said your card reviews are top quality - Made obvious by the ratio of likes to dislikes. The arcane giant combo reminds me of the old echo-giant mage, where you could combo out a board full of taunted molten/frost giants, and then laugh as they either conceded or burned you down with a piece of random face damage. Either way, it was easily the most entertaining deck I ever played during the bulk of my hearthstone playtime. Super hyped to see if it can be revived again, this time with arcane giants in warrior.
The curator is not bad if it draws just the one card your deck relies on, for instance Alextraza in Freeze Mage, or Malygos in some Malygos deck. It is a tutor after all.
i like the fact that reynad are confident with his insights or comments about cards, its so true that alot of streamers choose to say "maybe/probably/in this or that situation" its like they are trying to avoid being wrong and honestly why are you even reviewing if you're just gonna bullshit us like that xD its not like we are gonna blamr anyone if the card turnt out being the opposite of how you expected it.
One deck I see Violet Illusion potentially working in is a Mill Rogue, where on a turn where you'd potentially mill yourself to death as well as your opponent, this card gives you the ability to survive. Also, it's cards like this that required Master of Disguise to be nerfed. If this were essentially a permanent ability upon being stealthed, Rogue weapon removal would be broken. Seems good overall.
I think the violet illusionist could be interesting in some kind of fatigue deck. Say, in a control v control matchup, you and your opponent are both out of stuff to play. the violet illusionist, if they don't have any resources left to kill it, means you win the fatigue game even if your opponent has 100 armour
What about the OTK Warrior "shell" (all the card draw) with Barnes and a few proper minions like Sylvanas and Cairne? If it doesn't hit a target minion, it will always hit a carddraw minion instead (caveat being you need to only run Deathrattle carddraw).
It was probably deleted because all the butthurt people that got banned came out with all the pitchforks, and Reynad/his editor decided it was better if he just took it down for now.
I agree a lot with Reynad's opinion that priest being a t1 deck makes for an incredibly frustrating experience. For those of you who weren't around when priest were ok, they were basically the most annoying deck to play vs. Control basically becomes extinct becomes priest shits on all control decks. What you get left over is a bunch of combo decks or hyper aggro decks. Not a fun meta.

Oh man, at the same time I'm excited and dreading the day when Menagerie Warden is released. Instantly brutal beast druid decks pop up, I will of course try one. But I'll also have to play against them, and there's nothing worse than playing against a deck you're intimately familiar with. You'll see stranglethorn tiger on turn 5, then on turn 6 you hear "My Greetings" followed by insta-concede...
59:52 MTG has ALL the cards, even the exchange life for board control mechanic has been in the game from the 90's. Fire Covenant, Murderous Betrayal, Slaughter, Rain of Daggers, Snuff Out, Fumarole etc.

u can play fool,s bane and if your weapon survive u play violet illusionist for 12 damage spreadable in for charges with no drawback...its slow...but it does give u board control
I'm going to try Barnes in murloc paladin because whatever it hits as long as it isn't ivory knight will give me a card that draws or heals for 8 or a tirion, or in that Uninstall moment he hits doomsayer
I think if they were going to print a small taunt in this Adventure, it should've had better stats and "Can't attack." It'd instantly help Silence Priest be a thing, and would see value as being a wall in other decks.

Cards like Ethereal Peddler and maybe even Pit Fighter might be a key to beating the broken Druid turn 6 combo, since the 5/6's can 2 for 1.
Wouldn't arcanosmith be okay in evolve shaman? Not high tier, but it does get you good value.
Also with moat lurker type cards in magic, your opponent must hit it with a spell because they can't attack into it

I think if they were going to print a small taunt in this Adventure, it should've had better stats and "Can't attack."
It'd instantly help Silence Priest be a thing, and would see value as being a wall in other decks.
