    Having it all pre-wired greatly reduced the amount of information it could've contained.

    my dad just recently bought an 86 c10 and we actually found some 4" x 10" housings where yall are installing those 6" x 9" panels, so i just ordered a nice set of kicker 4" x 10"s gonna put together a nice system for father day for him.

      Excellent! Yeah, some of the later model C10's had a 4x10 setup in the rear, pretty cool!

    Is this radio now just hanging by the bezel? Or did y'all fix there they cut the metal to install a din radio?

    • @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV
      @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV  5 років тому +3

      The radio is supported by the bezel as well as a metal strap at the back. The new radio is extremely lightweight, unlike the radio that was removed.

    I have an 87 Chevy but the previous owner cut the area to out an aftermarket radio but I wanna put the factory radio style but since they cut the whole what can I do ?

    • @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV
      @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV  4 роки тому +1

      You could simply replace the dash face/bezel and use the holes in the bezel to mount the new radio. This is exactly what we did with our 75 GMC Shop Truck.

    • @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV
      @BROTHERSTruckPartsTV  3 роки тому +1

      You have to wire the power, ground and a constant to power the radio. After that it's simply running speaker wires where ever you need them.
