I'm a big fan of this! and honestly, you could totally hook up that signal strength one to a signal strength decoder (redcoder) if you wanted to, and still have it be fairly easy to build. thanks!!
I like this video! It’s straight to the point and shows the benefits/downsides of different types of UI! I was able to learn from this video, I hope to see more like it soon! 👍
This really showcased what "designing" is! It's easy to piece together something that works, but it takes efforts and perspectives to design something that is best for you, whether that is keyboard encoding or switch mode logic and UI designs are an extremely crucial part that is (too) often ignored
Aha! I found it, i knew this vid had to exist with what you do master batwings. I have to admit this took far too long to be suggested based on my search history... But i got it for my birthday so im happy as a giggle
Ohhhh banners.... I never thought of those. So my modes have sub-modes to them and I am doing a four character segmented display for abbreviated queries and response inputs, a d pad four direction, the arrow item frame I kinda like instead though but that'll be learning more hex right? My UI I'm thinking will also have a selection button and I want to do like 8x8 pixel for imaging display but thatones way beyond me still, the segment displays and directional control. It's for my home security "smrthome". I feel like I need a toggle input but I find it redundant with the arrows and button, what would the great master batwings @mattbatwing think?
Cool idea that someone could use when making something with a keyboard: have all your lowercase characters have their own binary codes, and then the uppercase/shifted version of that key be the same code but with a bit at the end on instead of off.
I’m pretty bad at coding cuz i have off and on attempts at learning it since i tried stuff back in high school then again during covid’s beginning, but this makes sense and kinda helps me understand the ideas better! im hopeful i can do some coding in my creative and survival worlds in the future, even if its just for fun!
The signs themselves can have readability improvements too. Using dye and glow ink on the sign can vastly improve readability, and can even emphasize different notes (like glowing red text for DO NOT DO THIS).
Trying to make a UI to activate an item retrieval system that will include every survival-accessable item. Any advice on how to make a UI for over 1400 items that is simple and small user-side? (the restone will most likely not be small)
Bro i dont even care if you like, or do something else my comment but i wish u will see it. Before i started to watch LLR# series, i cant doing anything with redstone. But i was curious about it and started with you, and im now my group's "redston-er" . İ mean verry thankkss!!
This is great! These concepts could be really useful. I made a significantly improved button selector - much more compact, a much cleaner UI, and more reliable outputs. Does anyone want to see it? If so, how should I share it? (And is this self-promotion? Should I remove it?)
Short videos, easy to watch, concise explanations, minecraft and computers. You got the best content! always glad to see a new vid :]
Learning about better UI can definitely improve my redstone builds
I’ve always wondered how the keyboard worked! Nice job

Short but inmormative and entertaining video. Love it. 👌

Love it, binge watched your other videos a month ago and appreciate how you explain things so anyone can understand.

I got to get the link to the outro song. I can tell it’s either a different part of mumbo’s old intro/outro or it’s by the same guy.
Please make more of these videos

i love your videos
You can explain how to make a stopwatch?
What is stopwatch?
Why don't you use glow ink sacs to make signs look more "readable"? Do you play in 1.16 or you just don't use them?
ohoho nice self promotion at 3:53 second row from the top, most right
1080p was needed to see that doe
The 6 bit key wasn't clear, would you be able to show me more of the inside of the 6 key so I have a better idea of how to build it?

How do you make a display to display text?
You use 7 segment displays
@@fuchsorsolya6722 that’s for numbers not letters

Glad I could make it
