- I wanted to Be “A You Tube Creator” to bring on customer awareness and after many years it has done just that. Now I’m sharing my shop and talents on other platforms like RUMBLE. I have been dealing with some things in life that have caused the slowdown in my new videos being published and I share those with you as we take a look at how Pearl is sitting idle until we get back Toit!
Life is good!
Cheers, Keith

You are one of the original UA-camrs that showcased skills and talents for others to absorb.
Any time you publish is great for me!
Keith, the skill and knowledge you document with this channel is worth so much.
well Mr Keith, you are one of the Best Channels out there and have
taught and shared so much valuable information over the years,
not to mention all the inspiration you have given.....best wishes, Paul in Orlando, Florida.....
Hi from Wales.
Personally I think of you as a "UA-cam Educator"..
Hello there! Welcome! It's a good thing you don't live south of the border 😉👍
Glad to see you are back on track Keith. I'm sure all your subscribers will be looking forward to more of your videos. Keep well and safe.
You're my OG favourite, please keep at it as long as possible. Learned much from you.
Some creators disappeared, some went all advertising all the time.
I'm pro 2nd, keep the freedoms you have. Ours have been stolen.
Thanks for the up-date. Your the best show on any site. Stay safe and happy!
Keith, Just wanted to say thanks for all that you've shared throughout the years. While machining is just a hobby for me, the knowledge you've shared has definitely increased my capabilities. Thanks!
I always enjoy the work on projects that you post. Nice work on the lathe and looking forward to future videos. Thanks!
Well done Keith. Nice to see you again. Bringing us up to date on your uploads, both on Rumble and UA-cam is reasuring. Thanks for being you.
Your channel has been an inspiration since the first time I became aware of it. The detail of your teaching methods has brought this wanna be machinist to new levels and I thank you for it. Keep up the great work I am all ears.
Thanks for the update Keith. Always look forward to your videos. 🇬🇧
I’ve watched all your videos and many multiple times, you’re an inspiration and one of 2 you tubers that encouraged my hobby shop and to start my YT channel. For fun!
I wait in anticipation for your videos at the pace you wish. Thank you for the content 🤗
Great to see your video again! Looking forward to the next one 👍
Good afternoon Keith, glad to see you again. Glad to hear your continuing on UA-cam. The addition of the collet chucks will be a nice addition to Pearl. Excited to see her make some chips.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi Keith and Lisa 😊 good to see you again mate, pearls going to look great, and be a fine, useful edition to the shop. Best wishes to you and Lisa, Stuart UK.
Awesome as Always Glad all is well ,Thanks for the update Always look forward to your videos.
Good to see you again Keith!
Looking forward to any content you can manage to upload.
I'm still watching your older videos :)
Hey Keith, I give this video a TWO THUMBS UP. Never get tired of viewing your contributions, plus your honesty with us is far more rewarding than anything else.
One of my favorite UA-camrs. Thanks for everything.
Thanks for another video - lots of us out here love them and learn something new every time. Way back in the day when you were straightening shafts I couldn't believe how you were able to 'make chicken shit into chicken salad'. Just last week I brought home my first lathe an English made Colchester Triumph - largely because of your videos and the inspiration you have given me. Thank you!!
Great to see you back! As for the first 6 minutes, we probably agree on everything 100%, however I won't be voicing it here, and as I said before, your videos are worth the wait, and I'll be waiting for the next one!
Thanks for the update Keith do what you need to do, your a great machinist. Take care of yourself and Girlfriend and be Blessed ❤️❤️👍.
Good to see you back. Don’t worry about postings, your work etc takes prescience
I think you mean precedence.
@@markregler2164 😂😂😂
You were an inspiration to me starting my you tube channel and I appreciate seeing the way you approach projects as well. It always gives me insight seeing other ways to do the same things. Keep at it as you can please. 😊 thank you ☺️
This is a great channel in my estimation Keith, thanks for the content and greetings from the NJ Bayshore.
Thank you Mr Keith for all you've taught me. I grew up a little before youtube and could fix things by making chicken shit on the lathe but I learned so much watching your videos in the last 8 or so years that I have put together a whole shop of full size machines and can make real nice parts now! I was lucky to grow up around folks who solve problems and fix things and work hard. You're a wealth of knowledge and I am glad to hear you have all your videos on physical media in your possession. Can't rely on the internet! I've said it before on one of your videos but the only "PC" that belongs in the shop is the one that runs the PlasmaCam haha
Keith, Your videos are one of the few I want to watch more than one time. All too many videos are made non-reusable, one-time shots. Also, the YT video discovery system is definitely biased on new videos so older videos do not get the attention they would be entitled to based on the content.
I started machining some 10 years ago and I have been consuming the video content like crazy. Three YT channels have been at the top of my list and You probably know which those are. Unfortunately, one of those has evolved from a machining channel into a machine advertising channel.
Your channel has been quite consistent and this is what I like.
I have now done some 400 videos on my channel and those are mostly machining - manual machining.
Making YT videos is not a gold mine. As You stated, it barely covers the cost of the video equipment. I will never cover the cost of the time spent editing the stuff. So some passion and fun is really needed. I get my fun from making music and animations on my videos. I also suspect that those, along with the Finnish language, are the reason why my channel has not grown too much. I have my loyal watchers and that's all I need. 👽
BTW, You are quite exactly 4 months younger than me 😁
Thanks for the update Keith.
We all held our hand over our heart🫵❤To say the Pledge of Allegence ment you affirming your fealty to our great country ! Thanks for that opener! I also lived by the Pacific Beach and played in the park there in celebration park.
Keith, you started it all.
After I found you, along came Adam and the UA-cam machinist/instamachinist community went crazy.
I honestly have you to thank for falling so heavily into this trade. Marathoning your videos in the years after high school honestly taught me this trade, the intuition you’ve given me over the years is truly priceless.
Most of us realize that it takes alot of work to publish a video. I am greatful for the time you spend to share with us.
Keith. I probably commented on this before, but I will again. I entered community college and the machinist trade at retirement. I worked in the trade for a few years but life got in the way and I never got the chance to work with a journeyman or complete my apprenticeship. I now have a home shop and I follow your videos. They have helped fill in what I missed, especially when it comes to work set up. Keep up the good work, keep on enjoying what you do. I'll be watching. Cheers from Canada.
Keith, your knowledge has personally helped me succeed in my life, and without your knowledge, especially with prop shaft repair, I would not be where I am today.
Keith, really good to see you again! I had to laugh. I was thinking, How about a Porsche update? Then a minute later you gave one! LOL
Thanks from England + good to hear the phrase 'sh*t-can' again. I have heard it said over here, but not for years and I can't remember if it was my Dad or someone else that occasionally used it. I may need to use it appropriately now and again so it never dies out!
Keith love your video's as your life permits I will be here
Creator... as far as YooToob vids go you are a creator. To me you are Sensai the 3d metal printing master! I always smile when you pop up!
Keith, Many years ago I was fortunate to stumble across your UA-cam channel. You were just beginning to make videos.
I remember you were hesitant to show all your work to the world - especially how you straightened shafts etc. You’ve come a long, long way since those days!
Thank you for all the videos through the years. I’m not a machinist, and will probably never be, but I like to tinker and you have been a great source of information and inspiration.
I hope you continue to love making videos. They will be appreciated.
I consider you a national treasure, and your 800+ videos will be part of your legacy.
It's a good thing you didn't stumble across from south of the border my friend!!
I love the extracurricular activities even though they take time! Watching you for 10 years. Thank you sir!
I AGREE . YOU DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY.
You've been an inspiration. I'm on the second hat.
Keith, i really like your videos, I’m sure that your viewers will be happy to wait for your videos, better quality than quantity, you have your business to run, I’d never heard of Rumble but will take a look, cheers pal keep safe 👴🏻👍
Howdy Keith, Hope all is well and you're in good health.
Great 2 C U Keith .. keep goin !
At one point in my life I wanted to be a UA-cam "creator". Even bought all the gear to setup a studio for such. Good lord that aligned with UA-cam taking steps to make absolutely sure everyone with a brain despised the platform. Still in the rat race but thank my stars I didn't jump ship and put my future into UA-cam/Google. Stay strong, Keith!
Appreciate the update you were missed
I am sure your lathe will look out standing. I worked for Waner & Swasey in the early 70s . I plained turret lathe beds . One job I had was planning old turret lathe beds for way strips. I got to see a finished rebuilt turret lathe and it like new. New hand levers, hand wheels and dials, and all new tags. New gears, spindle. Bed ways reground to the same tolerances as a new machine. I was told that it cost 75% that of a new machine and the same guarantee . To bad they are out of business I really liked working there.
Thank You for "Creating You Tube"...lol. or at least one of the biggest reasons i still watch it!
Yes !!! Thank You for posting! Great to know your OK! Can not get Rumble? As a person that has met you , send you a pic!
Glad to see a new post boss, sorry to hear you sold the 944. Life moves on I guess.
On my similar vintage monarch mine just has a pivoting plate for the motor and the weight of the motor is what tensions the bearings. I guess maybe the old motors weighed enough they saw it as no need to fix it. It will stall the motor long before the belts slip.
Hi from Sweden, im a 56 years old grey beard. I really do appreciate all your videos, you've taught me a lot. Keep em coming. Cheers man.
Uff...good thing you're not south of the border lol
Burnout is real.. keep it fun for yourself and speaking just on my behalf, I'd rather wait a bit for a video than not get any at all!.. Always learning something from your videos
I have been watching you for several years and I wondered about you. I noticed your absence. I’m glad you’re getting it sorted out. I am on the same page as you with social media I too have a small, very small, Rumble account. I also have a small UA-cam channel. I too have not done much posting on social media lately. I may begin again eventually but it’s not a priority for me. To me it looks as though some UA-cam creators are scrambling for content and it looks quite pitiful actually!! The ride is almost over!! Anyway, love the content, I have learned quit a lot from watching your content over the years.
Keith I want to say thank 1 for inspiring me and teaching me how to do some machining, and your not alone about this administration I’m from Philly and move down to texas trust me I’ve been doing the same on my off days. If u get me . I appreciate you
I miss your channel on UA-cam don’t think we can get rumble in the uk I’m a blacksmith welder and tort machining when I served my time , I run a workshop part time I’m retired 67 gets me out of bed to do something I’m also registered disabled I’m still learning and watching you do jobs witch is similar to how you do repairs mine are mostly agricultural ,, keep the videos coming your one of the best on UA-cam
I wouldn't have my machine shop if it wasn't for you. Thank you!!! 🙏🙏
Hello from Los Angeles!
Still love the vids. Keep them coming.
You could use a 215 collet chuck. Those collets look like a large 5C and has a size range through 1 3/4 diameter.
@2:32 I'll be 65 in November! Life does take some juggling. BTW I just replaced all my flagpole hardware and flag (everything but the pole itself). Went from a tattered 3x5 flag to a 4x6. New lights and everything! Only "real" flagpole in my entire neighborhood! 😁
BTW I carry too! 😆
Hi from Germany , you are the the best Creator, all content is so interessting. If I next in the US - maybe if I am allowed , I will visit you.
Keith I've been subscribed to your channel for quite a few years now and enjoy the content, obviously! I know very little about machine lathes and was wondering if 3 phaze power is needed to run the lathe in both directions or if it goes through a gear box. I assume you don't have 3 phase in your shop hence the rotary phase converter. So when I seen the new motor the question popped into my head again.
The 3 phase will evenually get here from the street, until then I use the coverter and the new motor is # phase as well. cheers
Good morning Keith,, first thank you for the education you provide the world of machinist with your expert life experiences. Just a quick question. I have been looking to replace my mix match collection of taps and dies with a uniform good quality set of SAE . It seems there are mostly metric sets out there. My need is for a full range of SAE taps and dies with minimum OD dies so I can make the least amount of die holders for my tail stock. As for taps, I have seen so much about spiral taps, I would like to step up to spirals, if you agree, for hand and power tapping in my lathe and milling operations.. The range I use mostly is #2 thru 1/2”. Can you recommend a good manufacturer of these as sets or individuals if need be. Don’t have a Hugh budget but do try to get the better quality tools, Made in USA if possible. Thank you for any advise you could provide. Appreciate every video you make. Papa Maggio, Ex shop teacher from 50 years back. Like Mr. Pete.
Enjoyed….KOKO!, nice to hear you leave finger prints in your paint applications…. I have NO patience….lol
Will be following you with rumble. Free speech wasn’t and never will be free-there will always be a price to be payed. It’s not about Republican vs democrats but the constitution. We need to defend our rights. Have really enjoyed your channel over the years.
Hola. Amigo hermoso te esta quedando el torno saludos
Obviamente no entendiste lo que dijo acerca the de los que tenemos piel morena...
Life AWAYS gets in the way of what you plan to do.
Your plans can be changed, life tends to have its own ideas which have their own priorities.
I've never heard of Rumble I opened a user account and looked for some machinist content, not much there Hopefully this venue will pick up
How did it break? In use or an axident i must of missed that?
UA-cam is my only social media I have.
@4:34 - To be honest, I think that is the same for everyone. I managed to get about a dozen synced and it stopped. I stopped trying long ago.
My personal enjoyment is the years of problem solving , you screwed it up and I'm going to fix it. Impossible to keep everyone happy so do what YOU ' VE always enjoyed and we'll continue to follow.
Personally, I like round toits, but a back toit will do in a pinch.
Hey Keith I don't know if you ended up getting your videos synced up or not, but if you need help lemme know that sort of thing can be automated with some simple coding.
I haven't finished yet, still one at a time when I have the time....
@@KeithFenner yt deleted my reply that tells you how to automate that process... Errr..

Hello from TEXAS!
Me too.
Love you videos. Keep up the good work. Honestly Keith, you should probably look a bit harder at what is actually happening at the border. I know it's easy to listen to what everyone wants you to think and fear, yet the reality will surprise you. We have NEVER had open boarders. The problem has aways been and perhaps always will be the difficulty of securing the boarder at the crossings, ports and airports where 80% of illegals come through. People are led to believe drugs, illegals swim or walk across random places. Wasting billions of dollars on a wall to stop 15% of the problem is stupidity. Reality is they simply walk across as illegals or bring drugs at the boarder crossings in vehicles, ship ports or fly in. I know Fox and CNN and majors would have you believe the President has total control over boarder policy but I beg you to take a closer look. Sadly we use to get the same information back when we were younger. Now we can plug into what ever channel that tells us what was "Want" to believe. As a long time conservative I want the truth and getting that take a lot more effort in todays Twitter, UA-cam world. I find myself angry at our Media because they are so busy telling us lies trying to keep me watching they miss the reason I tune in. I simply want INFORMATION so I can develop my own opinions. Instead they are all trying to sell us on what to believe. Truth is the worst has happened. You can't tell me the best among us is Biden and Trump. If that is true we are in MAJOR trouble. You're a good guy but don't fall into the same trap many of our fellow Americans have. Post Trump America has been fed so many lies we accept it as normal or OK. It's not. Integrity matters. Morality Matters. Justice Matters. I miss 70's and 80' America when we pledge allegiance, bibles were oK in school and we knew what a Man and a Woman was. It was ok to say husband and wife.
Walls are a "force multiplier" for the Border Control folks. Moreover, some 100 OD deaths each year are mostly from stuff coming across the Southern Border.
Turnwright Machineworks and Drillpress company 😅
Border? What Border?
Thanks for sharing see you on rumble
Google's data migration feature is stalling out?? Yeah, colour me surprised..
Life comes first! I always enjoy your videos, but certainly would want you to have a life besides living on the internet.
Well Keith I enjoy your videos but will never view them on Rumble.
Hey, that's great, no worries....
I try to watch stuff on Rumble but it's slow and hard to navigate. On YT, I can quickly have s screen of videos to "click" on and even non-member, I believe, can "click" on the links but RUmble?
0:38 Sorry Keith...performing under headache😐
Nothing like paying for a dead 🐎 😊
Be 66 myself in October,
be grand if you got back to it, the three keiths isn't complete without fenner. as to retiring from job shop stuff, you're not as old and crusty as dave richards, same as him, you'll probably be doing the odd 'only he can do it' job for a long while.
You and my DAD are almost the same guy. Your speech pattern's are identical. High IQ people stop and start their conversion.
It's because your mind works faster then you can speak. The Marines / Navy tested my Dad for his IQ level multiple times.
Some ware between 140-175. So theirs that. Love you
Its shyte Keith we've got hoards just coming across the channel here in the UK time for the UK and USA to start throwing em out...!!
I'm always being sent to "Facebook prison" as well......just caus they don't like it when I tells em summat...!!
☹🇬🇧
That is not the first time you new it just did not feel right is it sir
Keep your hands dirty!
Much I didn't understand, but it seemed you did well on You Tube. Too many venues. This is one of your most boring videos. I always liked your problem solving and fixing.
I don't give a shit about the pledge of allegiance.....oh well
Keith, you make some great content and show a lot of very valuable skills here that lots of people learn from and I think you for that. But the idea that the borders have been opened is complete and utter nonsense. It is nothing but divisive rhetoric that is completely untrue. The borders are not open now and are not likely to be any time soon. That said, the only way your kids are going to be able to draw their Social Security will be if we get a massive influx of immigrants, because Social Security is nothing but a Ponzi scheme. Keep up the good work and stop listening to lying politicians whose only desire is to have us divided.
The thing about being sixty six (a few years ago for me now) was not to worry about being seventy or senility, hah! Thing is, you were always at your best when you were gnarly and stuff got done.. then Trump came and Biden so much worse that a civilised man hide his head in shame.
I've enjoyed your videos, but it's sad you think you need to carry a gun because of immigrants.
Well, look at honest reporting on crimes and you will honestly admit that "immigrants" do a lot more than their "fair share" of crimes.
@0neOver0neThreeSeven -- Really? Are you saying that the illegals aren't a burden on the criminal justice system? Just asking.
Thank Jesus you're not a 100% tube creator - most of them make crap that no one will use - you're a working shop - your audience that want to learn some thing learn from you - the folk that want entertainment and don't know anything about the craft go to entertainers - shysters will always get more viewers.
Too bad the natives didn't close the borders in the 15th century.
Right? Where the heck did that come from! And by the way, the mega insane influx of migrants the media has been salivating for last week didn't happen. AT ALL.
He'll yea...it's a good thing they they welcomed the British and the 13 colonies along with Manifest Destiny with open arms.👍👍👍
