I love intermittent fasting and have been eating mostly OMAD since June 2020. Even though OMAD is my standard, I love being flexible in my schedule and will at times have variations to keep things interesting. I have lost weight, got into a healthy weight range for my height and maintained the weight loss for over 3 years! I love to share the flexibility and peace offered through intermittent fasting.

Jackie I want to say thank you I started watching your Aldi haul then in sept my Dr told me I was pre diabetic I panicked and watched what you were eating not fully doing Omad but by nov I had lost weight and my A1C was down I’m 56 and learning every day thanks again I watch you and Ryan Johnson and feel motivated and learn a lot.

I know! But all three of my kids are not meat lovers (especially my oldest and youngest) and my husband is grossed out by bone in meat.

Hi, I’ve been going strong for 49 days. I’ve been consistent and this week I gained 1 pound. I know that doesn’t seem like a big deal but I was so discouraged after consistently loosing week after week. Does this happen to you and how do you handle it?

What’s the most calories you get from diet drinks whilst doing a long fast?
I don’t look at calories generally (except down days… so not my day-to-day)
However normally k don’t drink diet drinks on my fast. I stick to iced or hot coffee, water or tea. There are calories in black coffee and tea, but I don’t count 🤷🏻♀️

How are your hormones? When I tried this, my period stopped. I was 45 at the time. I also got the keto rash and heart palpitations. Not for me. I did better with 18:6 but don’t fast at all anymore (3 years later).
You were doing keto? Did you replace your electrolytes?

I like you version of OMAD, but for me the day goes easier when I have one meal in 4 to 5 PM, because I had one meal in the so I go to breakfast, but then it more than 24 hours before I open my eating window, I did it but I am really going to out to have breakfast in the morning, I am have success with OMAD I have lost 64 lbs. in 100 days. And I am glad I don't have your schedule!
How many calories were you consuming for your one meal?
why do you keep calling a 4 hour eating window OMAD? it isnt! its IF 20:4. if that works for you- great but you are misleading your viewers. OMAD is eating once for about an hour. i have lost over 125 pounds doing true OMAD, so I know how to do it.
Obviously so does she..she lost and is maintaining eating this way...OMAD stands for One Meal a Day and she is having one meal but spreading out the appetizer , main dish and dessert...Never have I heard OMAD has to be one hour .....glad its working for you..Jackies way works for the rest of us...
@@nygrlathrt4015 OMAD literally stands for eating one meal a day. what she is doing is 20:4. which is still good but not true omad. the point of eating just once per day is to limit the number of times your blood sugar spikes. it doesnt matter how much you eat...it matters how many times you eat.
@@nygrlathrt4015I agree 👍 I do my OMAD Ove a few hours too, I'd feel deprived if I could only eat within one hour, plus I'd never be able to get enough calories in.
This is a big debate in the fasting world. I eat 2MAD and am 7 years in so I can see where you’re coming from that it isn’t true OMAD but OMAD is defined many ways depending on which expert you ask:
1. One plate of food
2. One hour of eating
3. One multiple course meal over many hours such as Jackie does
I don’t like the third definition either but it is a popular way those who follow Gin Stephens define and implement OMAD.

1 year IF-er here. I’ve always wanted to make WIEIAD videos but I’m too insecure and I eat bland food. 😂 Your WIEIAD shorts and weekly grocery videos are great. 🫶🏼
The way you eat is very unhealthy, also eating out a lot. Yes it's, your life. I eat six small meals a day with healthy proteins, raw veggies, fruit, and one cheat day day a week. It's important to keep your metabolism going. Exercise is important as well.
Go away!!! I have watched this woman for years. She has a wonderful balance!!! Take your negativity and judgement elsewhere. We have a wonderful community here that’s positive and welcoming. We don’t need someone like you here.
