What an amazing voice still. Not only can he still hit the notes, but he still sings with the same power and conviction. Kudos to MT.
Mickey has done a great job keeping his chords healthy and in shape..sounds exactly the same as he did through his career
Great voice!
Imagine if this was done with real good equipment... 👍
He still has the range. I'm impressed by his vocal ability.
I wish I got frozen back in the 80s and never came back!!!
count to 3
Saw them about 8 years ago, they opened with "Jane", I just looked at my wife and said damn, he's still got it. Incredible talent.
I have seen Mickey two times a year for about 18 years at Epcot. One of my favorite singers.
30 years later and they still got the powerful blues...! lol
More like close to 40 years this vintage gem came out in 1984.
Always loved this Song..🙏
My favorite part of this is watching her dance in front of that microphone.
Man they still sound amazing! Mickey still got his voice!👌😎👍
That bassist is having one hell of a good time!! That's why you play music!!
You can't tell that bass player nothing. LOL
lol Fucking A!!

Mickey Thomas is one of the best,if not THE best, singers on Earth!!
Mickey can still belt it out!!!!
That was awsome!!! Great Job
Killer song of the 80s love it
Love this band…. All these years…. So many great songs
Only Mickey, Dennis and Tommy from Styx and Joe Williams and Lukather from Toto still sound close to how they did 40 years ago
Great Vocals years later!
Hey Mickey does magic with his voice! Cheer mate and congratulations!!!!
Wow! My favorite song from the Starship. Mickey was so awesome here on especially on the album. Love the song and the amazing video that followed it! my very best to all of the Starship Band Love you guys!
Mickey still has a great voice. Band sounds good too. They're not what they used to be - but still good music. Thanks for posting this video
I am glad you liked the video. Check out my channel. I have two complete Starship concerts from 2013 and 2014 saved in playlists so can watch the entire show.
Will check them out later. Kinda lost touch with them after the 80's. Your video and their new found cohesion brought me back! Much obliged
This is total badass!
The immortal Mickey!
Sounds good

Ainda pode fazer parte da sua vida!

My god, Stephanie is the most beautiful woman in the world! Unbelievable. She's perfect!
She's hot for sure.
Check her out in the newest vid. 2021. Wtf ? Talk about the “Covid 20”..
@@MonsterMetalManiac totally
Stephanie 2021 looks like she ate Stephanie 2014 Lol
Cant get Stephanie back now
Doesn't seem right without Grace there
Omg Grace Slick looked so beautiful in that live video
She's not Grace Slick but I agree she's beautiful.
Is that Grace Slick on the back up? Almost looks like her
What did I just watch? How did I go from listening to Baron Von Tollbooth to Mickey Thomas? Thanks, UA-cam.
I'll refrain from ripping on Mickey Thomas because that's already been done to death. Glad to see he's still alive and kicking. I guess I might have gone to see them in 2014 if I knew he was touring - maybe. Or maybe not. Who are those other people? The guitarist had a few good moments. Well, his solo at least was reminiscent of the late '70s Craig Chaquico. A little bit at least.
He's no Jorma Kaukonen, that's for sure.
And I don't know what to say about the female singer that won't get me in trouble.
Wait, I can say this.
I miss Grace Slick! And Paul Kantner....Every once in a while Jorma and Jack come through town, but not often enough.
The guitarist here is John Roth who also plays in Winger. I like him and he is a great player, but I think he just tries to be too flashy on this song and it's not as great as the original solo. Mark Abrahamian who was the prior guitarist suddenly passed away in 2012 and he was fantastic. His guitar work was perfect on this song.
Where is Grace 🤨🤨🤨
Grace would have blew out the speaker!!
Tuff as nails
I am new here where are they from tell me more like them.
Is that Grace
Grace as in Grace Slick? She retired from the music business over 20 years ago. The current female lead singer of the band "Starship Featuring Mickey Thomas" is Stephanie Calvert.
@@TheNumberisSix I was going to say if that's Grace Slick she's found a way to reverse aging. Mickey still sounds great. A little less power to his vocals but the basic skills are still there.
@@keythdanielsen8316 my sister had s bad crush on Mickey in the 1980s. I asked if it was his voice and her reply was" nope it's due to how he filled out a pair of jeans in the Sara video"
Joe Roth on guitar?
John Roth
@@TheNumberisSix Thanks for correcting me.
no power in the backround vocals like only grace can pull off
Bass players....
Nice young girlfriend still crooning keep on bro
Vocals turned up too high.
Yep. One of the worst “mixes” I’ve heard from these guys. Could have had something to do with the cam mic though..
