This is one of the reasons why I want to go to Japan, in the future. I want to visit the Tsukiji Seafood Market. Everything looks so good, and so fresh, and the seafood is reasonably priced. I hope you and your cameraman, Charles, have a good afternoon. Cheers, Chef Hiro! 👍👍✌️🇯🇵🗾

You two went when the yen and USD exchange was at it’s best to be a tourist. It has slid to 136 yen to usd now. It is insane how deep the discounts were with the exchange rates just a couple months ago.

Good Afternoon Terada-sensei: Congratulations on this new Japan video series in 2023. I have been following you for 3 years now, and finally decided to subscribe because I have become a loyal fan of your show. I have learned a great deal from you and wish to support your greatness. I have Japanese ancestry as my maternal grandparents were from Fukushima in Tohoku Japan. Many of the foods my grandmother made I can hardly find anymore. Maybe someday I will request that you teach your fans how to prepare these dishes, like Oden and Nishime. I am so glad that you are doing bi-lingual broadcasts now in Japanese and English. Seeing these Japanese craftsmen and business owners in Kochi has deepened my love for Japan and it's people.
You are doing a great service to the world by popularizing their craft. Your work is truly a treasure to this world. 寺田先生に心より感謝申し上げます

😊I feel that watching chef Hiro's Japan vlogs are extra awesome due to the fact that he was born, raised, and graduated at one of the top cooking schools in Japan, and now working and living in the US his palate must be so awesome.

I recommend trying their king crabs at Sappro Crab Market. You can get an entire king crab full size for around $100, which is very reasonable for the price and freshness you're getting. They get fresh patch every morning prior to selling them to people. They basically get it right from the sea and serve it to you. It's a full meal where they also put rice inside the crab shell toward the end and mix it with crabmeats and just eat it with the natural flavor of the crabs. It's a dish you must try when you're in Japan. You don't even need any seasoning because the sea already come with salt inside the crab, so all they do is just steam it and it's very delicious.

I can’t wait to visit Japan one day, maybe sometime during summer once I save up for that trip. I enjoy eating Japanese food, especially sushi and stuff, as well as Japanese car automakers.

I'm just speaking as an american, the answer is no. Upon entry into the USA, you will sign a custums declaration form that you certify that you are not bringing in any animal, plant product into the USA. That includes any meat, pork product including dried meat. You can be fined or imprisoned, check with US custums website. Have a great day
