I just got mine this week, I went with the White finish. I originally thought I wanted the blue but since I rarely like Blue in general, I went with the white. I wish they had a matte white version but oh well.I too am impressed, this is the right up there with my Pelikan experience.
First review I have seen of this pen, thanks! The leather sleeve loosens up real fast - I have my much larger Dialog 3 in the same sleeve and it is fine. I never have had an issue with my Dialog 3 (in piano white) opening & closing. I love it and it's among my daily writers for near 2 years now. I also love the looks of this one and plan on it n soon.
I think the pen looks great. I have been keeping an eye on it for a few months. Sometimes it’s on sale here in Germany for under 250€. Love the broad Lamy 14k nibs. I found they can have different line variations when you write at different angles. I tried it out after watching your comparison of the sailor zoom nib to the platinum double broad. I hope to add this pen to my collection one day. Great review.
This pen has been on my radar for a while now. I really love the matte blue/rose gold color combination. But I also love Leonardo’s, the Italian resins are just gorgeous. I’m glad you reviewed this pen because now I’m more likely to buy one!
I had to wait a few months for the blue one, but it was worth it. My EF nib is perfect-I have had great luck with two other EF gold LAMY nibs, on a Scala and the other on a 2000 Bauhaus Blue, so I wasn’t worried about ordering this one. Like my clipless Nakayas, this pen stays on my desk and doesn’t get carried around.
i just bught a Dialog 3, which is a clos cousin of this. I think the mechanism of the retractor is amazing and a testimont to the precise German engineering.
Good presentation. I would prefer an EF nib as I find Lamy nibs to be on the broader side and I have smaller handwriting. The price point is a bit high for my normal purchases. I agree the blue color is really nice.
I love it, but hesitate on the gold finishes. Better, because otherwise I probably would have purchased it a while ago. I held one in a store and it feels very good and solid. It’s a real ‘different’ pen, which I like. The mechanism feels chique, that’s cool. Only the colors keep me from buying. Thank you for showing it to us!
You don’t actually need the extra part to clean it. U can screw the barrel back on without nib unit and clean it that way. The part kinda seems like a gimmick tho lol. I definitely like the looks of this one compared to the previous hotdog 🌭 lol
I realllly reallly like this pen! I have a Lamy lx with a nib I won’t mention and it really put me off from the brand (idk why I got that nib lol) but this def makes me want to get one of these. 👍🏻👍🏻
It's a very classy, innovative pen. Do you think that it holds a reasonable amount of ink? I'll probably get one anyway as I like the design, its girth and the nib. It's different without a cap which makes it very handy.
I got this in medium then returned it for a broad bit I regret doing so, I like broad nibs but this is just huge, it's not very practical, I feel like I have to write extra big to make the letters legible and in return it takes up s out of space on the paper, but the pen and nib itself is extra luxurious
Don't you want a leather sleeve to be overly tight? Otherwise it will stretch as it wears in and your pen will slip out in your bag within a few months' time. I have several examples of such garbage "perfect fit" leather products, they're absolutely useless.

I love Lamy, because I know I’ll never be disappointed.

Excellent close-up camera work showing the nib and ink on paper.
sold because of your review....thank you for this
I still love it!!

i finally broke down and bought this pen. I chose the white one so I'd have more ink choices. I chose the EF nib too.

Thanks a lot ❤
Also the music is mesmerising 😀

I ended up buying pen in White! Hope I love it💕
Nice looking pen!
I’ve been wanting this pen since the announcement of it coming out. I’m not sure what’s making me hesitant now. So many pens,so little time!

Always good to see you

Marvelous 👏🏻👏🏻💯‼️
Wow you make great videos! Subbed❤️
Thank you so much!!

It's hard to see inside though, if you use the tool you have light coming in from the other side.
Nice review, thank you.

Great review! It’s an interesting pen and I would love to buy one. It’s just very expensive!
Very impressed….probably good for arthritic hands as well.
Great review, thanks Aziza!: did you mention what ink were you using?:)
Is the grip section comfortable? It looks awfully wide and chunky.

What ink are you using?
What ink are you using in it for this video?
No drying out issues? Sometimes a problem with retractable pens.
Which pens? My VPs and Curidas never dry out on me.
@@sistergoldenhair0727 VPs can have dry out issues. Mine dries out, and quickly (less than a week)
You’re so cute Aziza

You’re probably getting sued. You just copied the Goulet Pens name and changed it to a name that sounds exactly the same.
OMG, how come the Goulet pen company didn't do this for the past 12 years? Are you a lawyer?
