I have a hard time hearing your voice clearly. ( not trying to criticize). The music is a little loud. I really want to hear your words about your gorgeous work and thoughts..
I’m happy to have any feedback. Thanks for sharing and I’ll soften the music for future videos.
Same here. While the music is calming and pleasing, it’s too loud for her soft spoken voice. It’s quite distracting.
Agreed! No need to add music all through a video, when the talking is the thing!
Your work is lovely.
This is a Japanese art of stitchery called Boro, but it seems that it's also "Slow Stitch"...I've never heard of it before, but thank you for sharing this video. Doing these little stitcheries is very mindful and zen like....it takes my worries and stresses and calms my monkey mind. Your pieces are very lovely.
❤I just came across your video, I have started doing slow stitching and really enjoy it. I stitch wherever the needle wants to go. I did pick up a couple of idea from your video. Thanks for sharing. I will find your week 1, 2, and 3.
thank you
Thank you so much. This is what I need, I am so grateful.
Invention genious in modern times
Genial👍
Bonjour je viens de regarder votre vidéo j’adore 😊 pouvez vous me dire comment s’appelle le support des fils qui est en haut qgauche de votre écran ??et où l’avez vos acheté ??merci d’avance
Enjoyed your video. I do lots of embroidery, but like the idea of slow stitching. The music is lovely, but could you lower it. I find it hard to concentrate on what you are saying, and sometimes hard to hear.
Could you put the subtitles in spanish, please??
Music is too loud, it distract from the persons voice.
I’m sorry but I just can’t do the music while you talk. I would love to watch this video because it’s what I’m learning and meditative stitching for me means peace and quiet so I can meditate. From the little I saw, it’s beautiful.
The background music is distracting…
Music way too overbearing- could not hear speaker.
Sorry but I found the music too loud and distracting when you were talking
Thank you for the feedback. I’m working to change that in future videos.
Is there anyway you can re post/do this without the music, especially when you are talking, sorry and thank you
Isn't this just the best ASMR?!
I am sorry I am having a hard time hearing your words the music is at odds with you😊
Background music is too loud 😢
Turn the music down, please.
no distracting, repetitive music please ! Lovely work and great influences
Just stumbled upon your channel. I do slow stitching and like seeing what others are doing with it. I found the background music was overpowering your narrative unfortunately.
No need for the music. So annoying. Can’t hear you. Why do people do it !!
I found the music distracting. I was trying to listen to your words but the music kept pulling me away. Thank you.
Could you bring the piece up toward the camera, so we can see the stitching? Next time. Thank you.
Absolutely, I'll make sure future videos include better close ups. Thank you for the request. So glad you found my channel.
Oh, what a lovely and peaceful voice you have. Just listening to you makes my stress, anxiety vanish. Will look at the book. Merci beaucoup.
Your voice is lovely and so soothing. I would love to hear more of your voice/ instructions with softer music. You are truly inspiring.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’ll begin making more videos this summer after my doctorate and will certainly lower the background music. Have a lovely week.
I'd love to watch this but I have slight hearing loss and can't distinguish your voice from the music.
So sorry to hear that. I have lowered the music volume in later videos.
I have hearing loss also, so I always add cations to any video - might be of assistance?
@@frugalitystartsathome4889 I often do use captions, but because of my hearing loss range the combination of music and talking is audibly painful. In this case I would have had to actually mute the sound and only read captions. Also, captions aren't available on all UA-cam videos.
@@jenniferlinton9936 yes, I find the same issue at times. I very rarely listen to audio any longer, I watch most videos with the sound muted and just read the captions instead, so it’s quite frustrating when there aren’t any.
beautiful! but have to turn off because the music is driving me bonkers!
Can’t hear you clearly don’t need the music
I enjoy the music, what's it called? I agree it's a little loud. Music during image sharing is nice. Thanks for sharing your work!
Fabulous video, found the book and it's on order😂 I am new to slow stitching and embroidery, combining the both. Thank you for sharing ☺️ ❤️
This is a lovely video. Thank you for making it! I found you by a UA-cam search for “mindful stitching”. The Batsford books are fabulous (love the fuzzy covers)! I’m in a book/stitch club where we’ve been working our way through them during the pandemic. I’m glad you didn’t edit out the bit where you had to rethread your needle, keeping it real. :) Question: what is that interesting looking thread holder in the upper left corner of the screen? (PS as with other commenters, I agree that the music at a lower volume would have made it easier to hear your words - you have a very nice and soothing voice!)
What is the fabric you start with please, I would love to try this. It looks so relaxing…I need that
It really is relaxing! I used this technique often when working on my dissertation. So helpful. I usually use basic cotton, but have come to really love linen. I hope all is well with you.
I was so looking forward to watching this video but trying to keep track of what you are saying and doing while that incessant music is playing just makes that impossible. Please kill that soundtrack.
You might consider doing away with the music. I’d love to look and listen to you but it’s hard with the music competing. Hurts my brain😊
Thank you for sharing this video I’m 80 yrs old been doing quilting and needlework for many years. This is the perfect for me to start making one can carry along when going to appointments etc. You are so artistic
What is that little round stand thats holding the embroidery floss squares?
Just found your channel...loved it. I found the sound fine.... Xx
I found you tonight. I am a slow stitching meditation artist that really enjoy the act of just let it flow. You are very soothing for the soul.
How wonderful! I bet your work is lovely and soothing to look at. I appreciate your comment and hope you continue to enjoy the channel.
Thank you, so soothing ❤️
Gosh that was so lovely, so lovely. Thankyou, your compassion and generosity is humbling.
I have been looking at both these books but I was not sure if they were the right books for me. I am glad I came across this video. Thanks for sharing T x
You’re so welcome. We start with slow stitching and then look at other practices each month. We are currently knitting but will pick up sewing in March. Hope to have you along!
@@sewandletgo I am already a knitter. In fact I am a very eclectic creator. I can paint portraits as well as knit and crochet and even started to learn to spin my own yarn, to name a few. But I have still subscribed T x
Came upon your utube channel, enjoyed it so much. I will give this slow stitching a try. Thanks to you!
This book also inspired me!
lovely utube channel!!! so calming and creative. just ordered claires' stitching book. new to slow stitching. really gets the creative juices flowing. thankyou for these videos. enjoy your day.
Lovely!
❤️😊❤️
Your video is so soothing with the loving music in the background, im new to slow stitching and throughly enjoyed watching from start to end :)
I can recommend a good book by Mandy Pattullo called Textiles Transformed (Thread and thrift with reclaimed textiles). The cover also has a fabulous tactile feel to it.
Thank you! I looked the book up and plan to get it and her other book about textile collage. I appreciate the suggestion!
I love the video it made me smile🤭.
❤ спасибо, за Ваш труд. москва
OMGoodness, I just discovered you on YT. Your sewing is so comforting and soothing, as well as the piano music and your voice! Thank you, this is just what our world needs today.
