    I have a hard time hearing your voice clearly. ( not trying to criticize). The music is a little loud. I really want to hear your words about your gorgeous work and thoughts..

      Same here. While the music is calming and pleasing, it’s too loud for her soft spoken voice. It’s quite distracting.

      Agreed! No need to add music all through a video, when the talking is the thing!

    This is a Japanese art of stitchery called Boro, but it seems that it's also "Slow Stitch"...I've never heard of it before, but thank you for sharing this video. Doing these little stitcheries is very mindful and zen like....it takes my worries and stresses and calms my monkey mind. Your pieces are very lovely.

    ❤I just came across your video, I have started doing slow stitching and really enjoy it. I stitch wherever the needle wants to go. I did pick up a couple of idea from your video. Thanks for sharing. I will find your week 1, 2, and 3.

    Enjoyed your video. I do lots of embroidery, but like the idea of slow stitching. The music is lovely, but could you lower it. I find it hard to concentrate on what you are saying, and sometimes hard to hear.

    • @jenniferlinton9936
      @jenniferlinton9936 2 роки тому

      @@frugalitystartsathome4889 I often do use captions, but because of my hearing loss range the combination of music and talking is audibly painful. In this case I would have had to actually mute the sound and only read captions. Also, captions aren't available on all UA-cam videos.

    • @frugalitystartsathome4889
      @frugalitystartsathome4889 2 роки тому +1

      @@jenniferlinton9936 yes, I find the same issue at times. I very rarely listen to audio any longer, I watch most videos with the sound muted and just read the captions instead, so it’s quite frustrating when there aren’t any.

    This is a lovely video. Thank you for making it! I found you by a UA-cam search for “mindful stitching”. The Batsford books are fabulous (love the fuzzy covers)! I’m in a book/stitch club where we’ve been working our way through them during the pandemic. I’m glad you didn’t edit out the bit where you had to rethread your needle, keeping it real. :) Question: what is that interesting looking thread holder in the upper left corner of the screen? (PS as with other commenters, I agree that the music at a lower volume would have made it easier to hear your words - you have a very nice and soothing voice!)
