I am currently reading both of Claire's books right now and I am loving them! I have started incorporating just ten minutes of stitching everyday and it is truly life changing. Its a kind of physical meditation that just allows you to decompress and helps in working through whatever challenges or just day to day stresses we all face.
I am so grateful for her approach at slow stitching, and I cant wait to see how her journey progresses. Her books are so interesting and just free up the whole process of stitching and it not having to be so structured. I love learning more about the history 🙌 of hand sewing, and am in awe that Claire is completing a Phd about this textile. She makes it feel effortless and there are no rules which makes it even more compelling and for me personally and more achieveable. Thank-you Claire for sharing your passion, I cant wait to see and read more.❤

A delightful interview…what a lovely idea for working out things… a sort of meditation technique as well as a journal of sorts to remember. Most thought provoking… Thank you

Really enjoyed listening to this. It was wide ranging and provided a lot of food for thought. Encourages me to keep using the clothes I have. Have never thought about seed to fabric. I look forward to ordering the books from the library. Thanks!

I believe if from a young age you have a connection to your family and yourself it gives you a grounding. Over consumption is the direct affect of not having been grounded and the void as a consequence needs filling with stuff, sad 😢
