The old Mercedes Sprinter was a great van due to its robustness and reliability. Ideal for places like Africa with difficult terrain and high temperatures.
The average post delivery vans (postNL/ DHL) in The Netherlands look much worse! What is that infrastructure project seen at 08:16 on the left of the road?
This Mercedes Benz Sprinter is used as Public Transportation in Mexico City and neighbor zones, like Ecatepec de Morelos, Coacalco, Tecámac, Tlalnepantla, Tultitlán, Tultepec, etc. Some Mercedes Benz Sprinter are adapted gasoline engines from Chevrolet and Ford.
@@passy7787 Is that the original engine? I am not sure, looks older. Thought these were all common rail turbo on this age (2002-6). By the way your english is good, but the subtitles are saying something different, sometimes with humerous results. Good work, keep the videos coming!
This is no original CDI engine, its been swapped to older one seems like OM604 for me. How is the african diesel fuel quality? Does any Commonrail diesel engines run there? :D
Looks no worse than the ones delivering vegetables to the market in Poland.

That is supposed to be an overhead bridge😁😁....
Белые люди начали строить нормальную дорогу, но их изгнали. А сами местные ничего не умеют и не хотят.
The interior isn’t too bad. But I believe older Mercedes are more rugged. The old non turbo Mercedes diesel engines ran forever.
This is a old non turbo Mercedes engine 🙈
@@philipkoller3007 I thought the CDI engines have turbos.
@@EnthusiastCarHangarit does .. but the wiring systems of this particular one has been messed up with
@@EnthusiastCarHangar This is an om 601 engine, not a common rail. It was not installed at the factory. There should be om 611 on this Sprinter

Yesss German Cars thank you passy love and greetings from Germany ❤️
Grüße auch an dich, mein Freund
i've seen WAY rustier mercedes here in finland.
Really? 😮
@@passy7787 we put salt on the roads in the winter to melt the snow and ice, but it also makes cars rust like crazy
I'd say that the traffic is very rugged there!
Lagos looks a lot different than New York, but the traffic looks the same! Also the unfinished overpass is pretty familiar!
You are very observant.... I like that☺️☺️
This car is from 2000. To drive 5 000 000 km, 208 000 km every year, 570 km every day.
I think total km for this car 300 000 km
for 5M km, this thing does not look that bad
You asked for POWER! Well done, he is just a little slow. Is the turbo still in the truck?
Yes... But the wiring system has been tampered by street mechanics 😞
@@passy7787 thanks boss!!

Perfect vehicle 😊❤️
If you consider that these cars were still good without many electronic components
I am curious where our modern cars will end up
Definitely not in Africa because there is no electric charging infrastructure there until now.
Show us in the next video car that run 20 000 000 km, without oil change
Becareful what you wish for😂😂😂....
This one is weaker than the atmospheric OMs. But the old ones are hard to get here in Germany, because of Van-Life hype.

OM601
i think you need new engine mounts friend

Geiles Moped Jungenz.
5mln its normal for these vans
Still in pretty damn good condition compared to what you showcase on your channel.
I see what you did here😂😂😂... But ill take it any ways... Thank you😂
@@passy7787 i didnt mean to be insulting. I was genuinely amazed by the condition of that van. Even in Europe they're sometimes worse than this.
@@ora2j251.... No offense at all 😁.... Your comment actually cracked me up😂😂😂😂😂😂
suena lindo ese motor saludo desde argentina
Saludos para ti también mi amigo
Der Motor ist kein 208 cdi sonder der ältere Model 208d

almost as good as the VW LT
Sprinter and LT are the same car. The platform is shared
Супер. Я у систему охолодження трактора також воду заливаю, і працює добре. Sprinter 💪
