I like how the video is desaturated to the point where it looks like a memory, almost like mr toyotafather went on a restoration rampage and is just remembering the event now.

Almost 3 months worth of work condensed into a 22 minute video! Loved watching it!

What a fantastic job you did! That car is ridiculously clean now. It's also nice to see another SC owner that actually drives the car and retains it's beauty and engineering and doesn't turn it into some dirty drift car. I'm kind of lucky with my 60k mile soarer, the underside is squeaky clean so I think it was garage kept.

Very well don. I have my soarer for 17 years and have upgraded as time past. I got my brother a soarer a few years back, he says he couldn’t imagine driving anything else. Thankyou for the video. Happy Soaring.

Looks like you inherited a disease your grandfather. So did I. 😂 Nice job! The way you restored the bolts was brilliant. Can’t wait to see it someday in person.

Loving this vid, I'm currently doing the samek to my Soarer but mine is a manual swapped V8. I was lucky enough to have a parts car so have a spare front and reaqr sub frame that I will restore first, then swap them over. But there is so much great info here I'll be using this as my instruction manual. Great idea with the steam cleaner, will give that a go too. Can I ask what you did with your bolts after your cleaned them up, did you get them coated again as I live in Ireland and rust is big problem here... thanks

OK if you got naff all else to do, and good workshop and the money.
my Soarer 32 years old, runs like new, not go time to do this. Only out in summer, just do normal tinkering to keep it good. But
would love to do more. Ex mechanic.

Where did you get a new knuckle/hub? Or did you just disassemble and refinish? Mine is extremely rusted and all the bolts are seized.
