I like how the video is desaturated to the point where it looks like a memory, almost like mr toyotafather went on a restoration rampage and is just remembering the event now.
What a fantastic job you did! That car is ridiculously clean now. It's also nice to see another SC owner that actually drives the car and retains it's beauty and engineering and doesn't turn it into some dirty drift car. I'm kind of lucky with my 60k mile soarer, the underside is squeaky clean so I think it was garage kept.
Very well don. I have my soarer for 17 years and have upgraded as time past. I got my brother a soarer a few years back, he says he couldn’t imagine driving anything else. Thankyou for the video. Happy Soaring.
Looks like you inherited a disease your grandfather. So did I. 😂 Nice job! The way you restored the bolts was brilliant. Can’t wait to see it someday in person.
Loving this vid, I'm currently doing the samek to my Soarer but mine is a manual swapped V8. I was lucky enough to have a parts car so have a spare front and reaqr sub frame that I will restore first, then swap them over. But there is so much great info here I'll be using this as my instruction manual. Great idea with the steam cleaner, will give that a go too. Can I ask what you did with your bolts after your cleaned them up, did you get them coated again as I live in Ireland and rust is big problem here... thanks
Holly shit dude!! As a jzz owner myself this is heaven to watch! Did an amazing job like dam unreal!!!. I've done some and know the pain and time involved. This is a motivational vid for sure. Need any parts hit me up lol. Had 4 of them so far 🤣
OK if you got naff all else to do, and good workshop and the money. my Soarer 32 years old, runs like new, not go time to do this. Only out in summer, just do normal tinkering to keep it good. But would love to do more. Ex mechanic.
More soarer vids for 2021
@@toyotafather I see you’re keeping it toyota oem instead of t56. 👍🏼💪🏼 can’t wait for more of these vids. Underrated channel.

I wouldn’t say loses his mind, just went all out . Imagine tho , this cars going to last another 20+ years easy, pretty much a new soarer. 💪🏾

Almost 3 months worth of work condensed into a 22 minute video! Loved watching it!

Where did you get a new knuckle/hub? Or did you just disassemble and refinish? Mine is extremely rusted and all the bolts are seized.
Mind telling me your wheel sizes and offsets? Your car is so nice.
Fantastic man, gave the car what it deserved
Detailed! Good work, sir.
Great video. I love the work you’re doing. Which bushings did you end up running?
Thank you for that. How is the driving experience now, must be a night and day difference?
Oh wow lol. I figured it would be a substantial difference but hey at least you know everything is new and nice. Keep coming out with videos!
Awesome dude! Inspired me to change my disk brakes :-)
AND working with fire and dousing it in the snow - genious
How do you get all the torque settings for all the bolts you take off?
I have factory service manuals
