Wish this exhaust was less expensive. Definitely want one, too....but that price is more than I want to spend. I will save that money and put it towards my eventual new bike, lol. I am envious of all you guys who install this exhaust. It sounds the best of all others out there. Enjoy !
I purchased the Yoshimura R77 exhaust for my CBR650F. After unpacking everything I noticed that my headers don't use springs to attach the header pipes to the flange. Right away, I was pretty happy about that.
Cool video, did this with a friend a few weeks back and it sure was a pain in the ass but 110% worth it! Sounds absolutely amazing and definetly worth the money! Haven't tried it without DB killer yet due to it being super loud at higher RPM's. Cool video! Wish I saw this before I installed!
I just installed this on my 650 f and was a pain in the ass. I had to drill the holes out for each flange as they weren’t spaced properly from Akropovic😤! Took me 3 days to install it.
That was a great video you explained everything__ man you have done it all on the honda track day dragon tail year round riding and she just keeps on rolling !! Have you ever done a valve adjustment and did the exhaust require a power commander?? thank YOU !
Haven’t done either a lot of people said they didn’t need an adjustment at the first service, so I’m gonna roll the dice and skip the first valve check. I would rather do a ecu flash than power commander, still haven’t had it tuned yet I’ll get to it one day lol.
For who ever wanna buy this if u own models 2020 plus dont buy it it sound with db killer just like the stock one and u need to add heat shield where the 3xhaust hit the plastic cover i recommend mivv or arrow they are the best out there
Hi i have a question for you mi have same bike the question is do the side ahd front fairing one the decals have laquer on them vlbecause mine has no paint on top of decals i mean no laquer in the fairing just decals and color u can feel the decals edges does this is factory or it should have laquer on top of the decals just the tank have laquer my bike
@weston graham thank you for replying. My sc project Exhaust arrived and id gotten the fairings off and was thinking id need to remove the radiator to get to them. Did you need to replace the gaskets too?
Looking at the forums and fb groups a lot of people are running just an exhaust with no tune however if you did more than that I would get a ecu remapping
@@westonlieberum1 I squeezed everything out of it, spend alot more than was needed. I managed to get 107HP. After the ECU remap, the topspeed on the dyno is at 280. Because believe it or not, there is a rev-limiter on the unrestricted version as well + a top speed limiter (which I absolutely didn't expect for this type of motorcycle). The revs can get up to 13.500 RPM (it was 12.500 RPM before). Also speedlimiter was at 250, so the engine just doesn't do shit after you reach 250. Technically I'm able to reach 280 now, but it would probably take me 5 full minutes to get there

Yeah that price tag was hard to swallow, but It’s worth it every time I hear it running now.
Don’t take this video down! I need it for my installation this weekend lol.
That new exhaust system sounds awesome!

Hey Weston. Thank you 🎉 have a great life lol just got a new cbr650r & my exhaust is cmin in tomorrow!

Props for installing this basically one-handed lol. Looks and sounds incredible. Great practical sport bike the CBR is

They all slip to fit I’ll admit putting the flanges on the head was definitely not fun
lovely exhaust, did you need a tune after installing the exhaust?
How do you know if the product is genuine?
Still trying to decide whether on not to go for the CBR650R or the Aprilia RS 660
I have yet to ride a rs660 I really wanna try one
Thx for the vid! Helped alot! 😀
is it needed to remap after changing to full exhaust?

So in the end, did the exhaust hit the swingarm?
@@snap1966 no I don’t have any issues with clearance

Such bullshit lmfao, I own one with the db killer still inside and it’s night and day from stock. Biggest load of crap I’ve read in months

Couple quick questions if you don't mind. Did it interfere with the control arm? Also is that sticker on the exhaust easily removable?
It does not interfere and I haven’t tried it seems like it’s on there pretty good
@@westonlieberum1 Thank you so much.
Whats the point of those springs?
They allow the exhaust to thermally expand and flex without being welded which can cause cracking
Did you have to move the radiator at all?
Just unbolted the lower bracket
@weston graham thank you for replying. My sc project Exhaust arrived and id gotten the fairings off and was thinking id need to remove the radiator to get to them. Did you need to replace the gaskets too?
My bike didn’t have a ton of miles so I just reused them
How long did it take you to uninstall and install?
An hour roughly
ECU Remapping Or Aftermarket Air Filter Required?
Looking at the forums and fb groups a lot of people are running just an exhaust with no tune however if you did more than that I would get a ecu remapping
@@westonlieberum1 I did a full SC project system with DNA airfilter. Was better for the bike to ECU remap it. Made it way better
What power did you pick up? Always curious
