UPDATE... I decided to give this one more chance... I told OVS I needed a new cover and mentioned my covers in the past did not fit. They gladly shipped me a cover at no charge and to my delight it fit much looser and it easily zipped right up. I will enjoy being able to use this awning again.
That's awesome! That is one thing I really like about OVS. Their customer service is top notch! They shipped me a new cover when I told them some stitching was coming apart on the old one. Great people over there! @overlandvehiclesystems
Great video. Just ordered my OVS 270 LT. We have nearly the same set up, which I don't see very often; Softopper with the KB Voodoo rack, tent and our recovery boards are even in the same spot...! Sub'd
That’s pretty awesome!! Not often you see Titans out in the woods built like this. Follow along on IG: Titan.Overland I do lots of updates and whatnot on there too! You have an IG?
If you look at the 5 min 39 second mark my windrock video, you’ll see an aerial view of the tent and awning deployed. I plan on doing a follow up review on the rack/tent/awning combo soon.
I still have the Titan, she's down right now. New PS pump and steering rack has to go in it. Life has been keeping me busy and out of the woods unfortunately. I still have some things I want to publish, time is my enemy right now. Anything you would like to see in the future in particular?
Best investment out of the entire build. I use it all the time and not just for camping. Have had a replacement cover shipped out to me since stitching started coming apart but OVS has amazing customer service and they hooked me up with no questions.
@@tonywillingham8109 I see them on there. The driverside awning 270 LT for $549.99. New customers usually get a $50 dollar coupon for signing up an account with their website (don't quote me on that). Again, that price does not come with mounting hardware. Copy and paste that URL and see what comes up. You may need to call them to order it without the brackets. www.northridge4x4.com/part/awnings-accessories/18279909-overland-vehicle-systems-nomadic-270-lt-awning-driver-side#confirmed_fitment
Very poorly designed cover. The cover is way to small and extremely difficult to pack up. I have replaced two covers and they both had the same problem.
The only thing that messed up on mine was some stitching where the zipper was at came undone. Other than that it's been great. No problems packing mine up. Do you have the big 270?
@@cmore2847 Probably why I haven't ran into the packing issue you have. They probably use the same cover between the two even though the larger one has more material.
@@TitanOverland That sounds possible maybe that's why they want to keep it smaller so it wont be too baggy on the smaller one. I may be in the market for a new awning soon.
Thanks for the link! You saved me money
Love hearing that!! That’s awesome man!!

@greedyg76 did you buy the tall awning brackets? You’ll need those for the awning
@@TitanOverland I have another idea in my head, we’ll see if it works out.
Nice video man! Been debating on getting one for my setup so appreciate the info! Good idea with the carabiner. Cheers!
Thanks Brother!

Still have the Titian? More content coming?

@@TitanOverland Interior mounts for radio, phone gps etc. Basically what you have at your finger tips while navigating to the trail on once on it.
How does the bag mount to the awning? I’m trying to find a bag of similar dimensions for my homemade awning.
Both top and bottom have small PVC pipes in the cover that slide into a channel.
@@TitanOverland Thanks! Great build!
Hi what rack do you have on your truck and what topper ?
the topper I have is made by Softopper out of Boulder, CO. The rack is made by KB Voodoo
Thanks for the video. How wide is the awning? How far dose it go out to the side and the back of the vehicle?
The awning itself is about 7 ft long. As far as extending out from the truck, it comes out around 6 feet or so with each leg.
@@TitanOverland Thank you.
Stick a finger inside and let it ride on top of the zipper. You'll feel the fabric before it gets caught in the zipper.
I can’t seem to find where to buy it without the hardware lol
northridge 4x4 is where I got mine without hardware
Fantastic work on this new video John. That wing awning looks great for the price. Does mo money mean mo better? In this case Looks like no.
Thanks Josh! Long hours editing. Lol. That’s what they say. Mo money supposed to be mo better...but this one is pretty badass!
Do you need an aftermarket roof rack to mount something like this or can you mount it to the stock rails on a 4runner?
going to need aftermarket roof rack. I don't think the stock rails would hold up to it
WOW, those welds look pretty rough, wouldn't trust those for very long
I definitely took note of the welds when I installed. So far they have held up really well. I guess time will tell!
Good tips, thank you!
Hows everything holding up?

Who did you order this from?
Northridge 4x4 the link is in the description.
Nice set up.
Thanks!
Does look solid but the welder must have been hung over. 😂
Def agree with you there!
Like Ray Charles welded it with a mig welder.
$729 now.
just bought mine $550 came after 3days
@@velocity800 Where did you get yours? I got mine from campsaver with coupon. Total: $635.09
Just paid $627 with tax with a coupon and free shipping , good deal
That's the 180 not the 270. Good video though.
It really isn’t though. 180 only does one side of the the vehicle, 270 wraps around like the one shown.
Got some farming sim music going on. Lol
$500? Where do you see it for $500?
see the description
@@TitanOverland I did. Definitely not $500. They appear to be much more proud of them now.
