If youre even remotely considering the Patreon, do it. Ive learned more in the past two weeks than the previous 15 years. The community is awesome as well. I never thought I'd find a Patreon I would pay for, I wish I had found this much earlier.

Bernth, would you ever do a video on the stretches you do before picking up the guitar? I have been using some stretches recommended from John Petrucci’s practice videos but I was wondering what you do.
Not Bernth, but Ima give you my opinion anyway.
If you do stretches, do them after warming up. Never stretch cold.
Tendons and ligaments don't stretch, but they can tear, so do light stretches. The simple rule is, if it hurts, don't do it.
Hi, Not Bernth as well, don't remember over which channel, there was a reference, of an old video, from a teacher from Spain, allegedly being one of the best videos, about caring for your hands, warming up, wide finger reach and stretching, and around min 3:50, he shows a very simple but effective way of warming up before stretching, it is in spanish, but you can follow it. As a personal opinion, he shares valuable information. the name is:Como conseguir hasta 13 cm. de separación de dedos para guitarristas y bajistas. Let me know if it helps. Cheers.

It is perfect for beginners as well. He has begginners lessons available there. Different picking courses, finger synchronisation, fretboard mastery etc. Is awesome 👍🏻
You would 100% benefit as a beginner. I’ve been playing for 20 years and I wish I’d found him sooner. Would have saved me from forming a lot of bad habits that I’m now stuck fixing.
I would have called myself intermediate to low advanced a couple of weeks ago, I now feel like a total beginner. It's awesome having so much to learn! But even if you don't know what notes are on each string, you will benefit majorly.

Is there a top 50 of those 600+ exercises? I mean I want to shred but at my age 600+ times 2 hours of playing a day = makes jack a dull boy

This exercices are too dificult if you're a beginner I'm afraid. Look for the spider exercice, I think Bernth has it on the channel, it's really great for beginners. And use a metronome to do the exercices! We all skip it when we're starting and regret it years later
