i connected hamaci and created a server with my friend, I hosted the game but it don't show in the category ALL when you search a game or in LAN and if he puts the IP on DIRECT it says connecting and then connection failed. please help
Assuming you're both using Hamachi, they created a Hamachi network, you joined the Hamachi network, and the network is set as online, It should technically function like a LAN connection. Maybe check if the firewall is interfering with Hamachi. Otherwise, I'd recommend searching for a video on Hamachi servers in case there's something I'm missing or can't show visually. Best of luck in resolving the issue! Sorry if I'm of no help. (I recommend hamachi mainly because you get ragdoll synchronization and it's the easiest, transferable setup for older games)

Non-dedicated servers have ragdoll synchronization, which I think is a huge plus in such a silly, goofy game. I imagine most people are just trying to play with a couple buddies so it's usually not necessary to make an online server nowadays.
i don't believe the mod works on the latest version, but if you want to go back: right click postal 2 select properties select betas under beta participation select None

Whenever I try load my save it says : Can't find file for package 'PatchTex' The map or save game may depend on Steam Workshop and/or game mod resources no longer present, or your copy of POSTAL 2 may be corrupt.

This didn't work for us. We connected through Hamachi but the server didn't show up on the LAN or any of the tabs. We both tried hosting.
