- in this video I show you how to install a hid kit to any bmw e60 and bmw e61 very easily its not a hard job by any means and any e60 e61 that's before 2007 didn't come with xenons as standard so this is a easy mod and really increases the lighting at night

Switched to 8ks on my E60 530i awhile ago best decision I’ve made. Such a nice bright light! Highly recommend!
Very nice!
Hey Devin Johnson I have a 05 530i can I do this to my headlights and willing get any error lights on?
Good video as usual. Cheers mate
How can I get in contact for a repair and coding please
Wouldn't drilling that cap on back of the headlight cos the condensation problems?and foggy headlights?
Great vid, any links for purchase got e60 pre lci, also tried loads of angel eye bulbs any recommendations
Hey mate, great vids as usual, bought my first bmw recently and your vids have helped me out big time, quick question if you don't mind, I'm looking to install either hid or led in my 08 e61 lci, what would you recommend, I have been looking at the Phillips xtreme ultinon gen 2 led, will these work in the projector housing, or should I go for a hid kit,
Cheers for your help mate
Hello. I have BMW E60 520d facelift with M47 engine. I have headlights with projectors inside but my lights are yellow. I want to install xenons but I'm afraid of some wiper motor fail. I have had a mk5 golf 1.9 tdi and after installing xenons(which I paid 100 euros because they had some "better" protection) my wiper motor failed after 10 days. Does e60 have problems with that?
On my 08 e60 I need a clip/holder to hold the hid bulb or the led bulb
What kind did you get? Can you add description or where you purchased?
Thanks mate and I appreciate your videos
Alright mate, have you ever converted the halogen lights on a bmw f20 lci to the adaptive LED, I cant find a single person that has done it on youtube, and was looking for some help
Hey amazing video! What HID kit did you use?
Out with the trolls ⚔🗡👹 nice retrofit doc 👍looks crisp with the 8ks in
Cheers mate that’s it mate I’m gonna out them eventually as we know wee they coming from just trying to get a trace on them
You have to keep this car. I wouldn't sell this one. SENTIMENTAL VALUE. Even I would be hurt if you sell the car. Lights make the the car look clean and crisp. 💯✌🏽
I know man there is more to come I have done a lot more to it lol just wait and see Lynn mate
Hi I have a e60 2009 520d pls give me a link to buy HID KIT THANKS really use full video
Im in Nigeria! How can i get that light bulb
Great video as usual. I’d love to retrofit oem adaptive xenons in my LCI 328 iX if cost wasn’t an issue. It pisses me off that the car has most of the goodies of a 335.. sport pack with shadow line, comfort access, IDrive, Harman Kardon, heated seats and wheel... but has this damn halogens 😞
Is visibility that munch better with these, even tho you are using the standard reflector assemblies? Like you said I’d definitely fail inspection with these.
Change then mate just buy lci headlights and buy a retrofit kit and install them to the headlights no coding or anything needed
Done this to my 525 today every time I move steering wheel they cut off kept getting error code
Please could you advise what am doing wrong
You need to do the coding mate
Redwan how do you code
Can you put HIDs /Xenons in Haolgen reflector housings? Doesn't it blind everyone ?! 😁
I’ve had no issues mate nobody flashing me not on BMW’s no as they automatically adjust the lights providing yours are adjusted during mot you should be dazzling nobody any light will dazzle anyone regardless of HID if you don’t have your aim set properly
Fair points, my halogens are trash on e61 😞
There trash on all e60 and e61s Xenons change the whole car and brightness
Just seen some Antiglare Hid bulbs maybe a compromise, supposed to be special designed for reflector casings
But they won’t be bright mate so be carefull there expect just a bit more light then Original
Does this mod give any errors?
Nope
@@BMWDoctor thank you
