Thanks brother light kept blinking turning on an off I bought another set and still did the same crap smfh so I Google it said the ballast just wanted to see if I can do it my self and sure enough it’s simple hope that solves my blinking problem 👍🏼🤙🏼

Hey buddy, I just changed the low beam bulb for my 2006 X5 4.8is and it blew straight away. Was this the same issue for you and the reason you are changing the ballast as they do look like the same unit used.
