It was all the kids that either didn't make the high school team or didn't have the grades to play. Sad to see what happened to him but them dc streets eat everyone it's why I left. They had that tough frenetic defense that kept them in games But the offense held them back. I think Iverson went like 9-30 elite eight versus umass. I personally don't think they underachieved.
I blame the school system, that no accepting Money rule back then some go as far as telling players that they cant have jobs either. Today is different, college players can revenue millions through different avenues.
