- What a great fight, Karna is just so Him it's ridiculous. The Jean D'Arc NP was also great to see, it seems like a very defensive one. That pull up at the end was crazy, I am so excited to see Vlad's NP next episode!

In the novels, while Karna definitely has more power, Vlad III actually did genuinely have the advantage over him in their battle. The stakes that he uses are weak by themselves, but the sheer quantity that he uses at once is close to impossible to counter. Out of the entire Holy Grail War, Karna is the only servant who can take on the massive onslaught of stakes, if only because of his extremely powerful defensive armor. Karna was only barely able to face Vlad III in battle
Also in the novels, Vlad III completely denounces Karna's pantheons as "monsters" and outright refers to Karna himself as a pagan. To Vlad, beings that call themselves gods and interact closely to humans are anything BUT gods
Karna even is my favorite in anime after reading origin story. Happy that other people like him😊
And that's why Vlad was playing with sticks, when in the current era he's far more known as/feared as Dracula, while seeming kind of weak considering he should be 10 times stronger in his homeland.
Astolfo's barrier is a spellbook that can cansel out a type of magecraft that is written in the book,Semiramis was able to overcome it by layering out multiple spell's on top of each other and i doubt spellbook knows a magecraft that is called *Spartacus goes boom* so even during new moon i doubt Astolfo could survive that.....also Astolfo didn't survived that much beating as you give him credit's for and his endurance stat is only D (it's not the same as durability but still).Karna,Siegfried and Mordred showed a much more impressive feat's in this field by Mordred surviving twice a point blank noble phantasm,Siegfried doing the same and Karna standing up after being impaled from inside like it's nothing.
Karna is my second favorite only because of Mordred, but his is really great. not only here but in the other works he appears.
Also yes whule he have foot on Romenia Vlad is unbeatable, but he loss it if he is not on the ground.
He's not really undeatable,Karna can defeat him even like this.Thanks to his armor even spawned spikes within him is not an instant kill and he can heat his own body with mana burst to melt them as they appear in him and the NP that he was about to use would most likely have killed Vlad if he didn't used everything he got,and then Karna can just use it again......

In the last episodes of the series you ended up knowing that the balance in power between the two was so unbalanced the red faction servants were far superior an better prepared
The black faction has the advantage of more unified strategy, preparation time (army and magic batteries) and defensible position because they already obtained the grail.
Tbh without the priest, black faction wouldn’t be stomped like this.
