Technically, False Rider is actually the Horseman of Death, not Pestilence (though, all of the Horseman are an aspect of Death, so Pale Rider can still use the abilities of Pestilence).
the servant is probably a rider thus it would make sense for them to be death or famine as one of the horsemen

Gilgamesh did not kill Enkidu, they were evenly matched, their fight ended when Gilgamesh fell over backwards from laughing.
They would go on to become best friends.
Enkidu died due to a curse from the Gods who cursed him due to Gilgamesh pissing off Ishtar (the Goddess which is merged with Rin in Babylonia).
Their death is what made Gilgamesh go on his journey for immortality, which caused him to become not just a better person, but also a good King.
also the skin of the snake that ate the elixir of immortality when gil wasnt paying attention was used as a catalyst to summon him in fate/zero
It's funny, but he realized only after the snake ate the herb and stole it from him that immortality wasn't as cracked up as it appeared. He went back later to get the elixir but never used it - he just wanted it for his collection.

@@michi6486 Not necessarily, since his younger self was absolutely obsessed with gaining immortality. I’d say the skin played an even larger part in his early tyrant days versus after where he didn’t even care much about it.
So, a bit of an explanation on the last scene, the one with the old man and the phone talking about the "spider":
-That's Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, one of the 3 people in the whole Fate Multiverse that can use True Magic and one of the strongest mages in the entire multiverse. His Magic allows him to look and manipulate alternate reality. The book he was looking at was the infinite comprendium of all parallel universes. He's one of the founding father of the Mage Association and originally helped create the Holy Grail War in Fuyuki with the Makiri, Einzbern and Tohsaka
-The other guy, the one that spoke through the telephone, that's Caubac Alcatraz, a vampire who can rival Zelretch in power but he's stuck in an infinite labyrith of his own creation and the phone is the only contact with the outside world. We don't know a lot about him.
-The "Spider" that was mentioned by Zelretch is ORT, an alien super-organism from the Oort Nebula that crashed into South America before 0 AD. Since it comes from the Oort Nebula, it lacks the terrestrian concept of death and cannot be killed through conventional means, that's why Zelretch is so focused on it not waking up. It possess the ability called Crystal Valley. Similar to Unlimited Blade Works, the ability transform the surronding into a piece of the Oort Nebula to support its own life by warping the law of physics. Should it awaken, the entire planet would be covered in this ability and therefore made uninhabitable forever to humankind

But they're not that important to the story of Strange Fake overall, the Light Novel didn't even name them in that scene.
The only thing you really need to know is that Ort (aka the giant spider) = bad news.

Do you remember the gem-stone sword Rin used in her battle against Sakura in the final Heaven's Feel movie?
The old man in the end credits is the creator of the original version of that sword (which Shirou copied). He is a legendary mage, the user of the second magic, who defeated Type Moon (an Ultimate One, and the vampire king, who's one of the strongest beings in the entire Nasuverse).
In the Tsukihime timeline, Type Moon bit him, and turned him into a vampire. In the Fate timeline, he didn't get bit, but found another way to gain eternal life.
Wait ....type moon is an actual character in nasuverse? I thought it was a gaming company?

King Arthur being a male servant isn't disrespect. He is supposed to be male but heroic spirits by having inconsistencies in their lore, create the variations that should have not existed. In Fate Prototype, King Arthur is male. Just like Jack the Ripper of FSF and the little girl you saw in Apocrypha. They are maybe the same Jack the Ripper in the history but the vagueness of the story suggested that "JTR was a child of a prostitute and got abandoned so she is seeking her mother" is simply one of the aspects Jack the Ripper. In Strange/Fake, he is a formless spirit who can take any form of his desire for having identity issue of not knowing who he really is.
Enkidu is Gil's best friend (it's implied they were somewhat lovers in the real Epic of Gilgamesh, which is a real documented literature piece that exists irl and it was found in Uruk, which was a real place and not something Fate made up on the spot), and if you say anything bad to the clay (even if its something as benign as thinking Gil would kill them), Gil will just outright kill you no questions asked.

Some notes about some stuff:
- Berserker Jack can't be seen - not because he's in spirit form - but because he literally doesn't have an appearance, this comes into play of his noble phantasm of changing into anything he wants, except for a unique and original appearance due to his legend.
- The crazy girl in the office is called Francesca Prelati. In history, he was a murderer that helped with Gilles de Rais' murder spree, which is why she's obsessed with Ruler (Jeanne). In Fate, he's a powerful mage that studied under spirits who studied under Merlin and has died multiple times, but swapped to a different body with each death (why he's female). His first death however, earned him a seat in the Throne of Heroes and thus while still being alive in a female body, his original male body has been recorded as a Heroic Spirit.
- Tsubaki, the little girl that's hospitalised, summoned False Rider, that's all you should know for now.
- False Caster, True Name: Alexandre Dumas, his noble phantasm is to essentially rewrite legends (of noble phantasms) and actualise them (can also boost their ranks by one) - as explained in the special - which is why the Police Chief (Orlando) has a squad of police officers with rewritten noble phantasms.
- The old man is Kischur Zelretch Shweinorg, a Magician - an owner of True Magic - unlike a typical magus. His True Magic is Kaleidoscope, to see into alternative timelines such as the original Fate/Stay Night's three timelines (routes) and their endings, including the bad endings, he can also see into timelines of series' like Fate/Apocrypha or Fate/Extra so he knows basically existing Fate series. He's also in Tsukihime but that's an Alternate Universe and, most likely Kara no Kyoukai, though, these are Alternate Universe versions of him.
- The "spider" is ORT, classified as Type-Mercury, but is actually from the Oort Cloud and not the planet. Long story short, ORT's an alien that qualifies as an Dead Apostle because of their vampiric behaviour and poses a extinctual danger to humanity and Gaia if it's awakened.
- The servant at the end is True Saber, he's King Arthur's biggest fan, that's all you should know for now.
- The girl that summoned True Saber is Ayaka Sayjou, she's originally the intended Protagonist for first ideation of Fate/Stay Night during the early development for the game, but she became a minor character in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia (Stay Night Sequel) and her name was never mentioned in the sequel until Strange Fake. There is an OVA of the first ideation for Fate, called Fate/Prototype which tells of the plot that would've been implemented. There's also a comic called Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver that serves as a prequel to when the plot for Fate/Prototype takes place.

Exactly! It wasn’t even that bad. Karna was my favorite to and I was fine with the way he went out plus, after watching Tsiah IV’s don’t sleep on series and learning more of the apocrypha servants feats the fights wouldn’t be as one sided as other would believe.

That's... sort of true, but not exactly.
See, Ea recreates the moment when creation began and shows the "truth" of the world by showing the world/void before creation, but it does this by breaking and distorting space-time. This is pretty explicitly stated in Fate/stay night's weapon entries, material books, and other series that Gilgamesh shows up in.

Caster Gil is the better one. Losing his friend Enkidu changed him turning himself from his former tyrant self into a better king. The only Archer version of Gilgamesh that I can accept is the one in Fate/Extra and nothing more.

You ain't wrong, in the panels its described Gilgamesh destroyed the world 7 times over with Ea however Enkidu rebuilt it 7 times back with Enuma Elish
So as he’s alluded the fake grail war is colliding with a real one.
Strange fake is weird as it’s aside from grand order the series which takes major element from tsukihime as well as your standard fate stuff.
My final but no less important note is that in this war is that the master may be just as dangerous as the servant even in a pure combat sense and trust me it’s gonna get wild especially when true archer turns up.
This episode was released as a special on its own. They have announced there will be a full series, but it's not clear exactly when, so you may have a bit of a wait for it.
In that scene where they both do their np, reality was shattered and recreated 7 times. Gil was destroying it, while Enkidu was putting back together, or so I’ve heard it states in the LN. Also that lightning scene where the girl gets scared, the impact frames are gil and enkidu clashing, I recommend watching it in slow-mo cause it’s cool asf

Jack The Ripper changes everytime you summon him/her because we really didn't know who he/she was.
In Apocrypha, the Jack that was summoned was the amalgamation of the ab*rted kids of the pr*stitutes. This Jack is another interpretation of who Jack was.
If you summon Jack again in another holy grail war, he's likely gonna be a different being again.
The mystery of who Jack the Ripper was is a big part of his legend so there's a constant change of who or what gets summoned.
Actually no, in Apocrypha she is a girl for that explanation, but that is her form in the Assassin class because she represents the murders as such. In Strange Fake he is of the Berserker class and represents the madness that he generated in the population for not knowing his identity.
This is the most broken Grail War aside from that one where solomon was summoned
It feels like it's never not broken. At least, none of the ones we actually see. Zero I guess would be closest to "as intended", but even that had weirdness.
This version of Gilgamesh is THE CLOSEST version of how powerful the original LIVING Gilgamesh was when he engaged Enkidu. The power alone he was able to pull out from Tine (and thus the magic leyline) allowes him to touch upon his original strength. Enkidu draws his power from the Counter Force in order to fight so he never truly runs out of magic and instead uses his physical body as a form of compensation to fight with bis Age of Babylon NP which creates all his weapons

The guy at the end is Kishur Zelretch Schweinorg, the Magician of the Second True Magic, Kaleidoscope. He helped the founding families to create the Fuyuki Grail system, he created the Jewel Sword Zelretch (Rin used a reproduction of it in Heaven's Feel) [For both he had a cameo in Heaven's Feel], he also created the Kaleidosticks [which are most prominent in Prisma Illya, but also exist in other timelines], fought the Ultimate One of the Moon (the original Brunestud of the Crimson Moon, the template all True Ancestos and by extension all vampires in the Nasuverse are modeled after) and did win. He is a kind of goodfather of Arcueid and was a direct disciple of Solomon. Yes, he is a big deal in the Nasuverse.

"She should be unbiased-" No, a Ruler's job is to prevent the actual destruction of humanity, which Amakusa Shirou was close to achieving (though he meant good).
This is such a perfect example of projecting your dislike of a show onto a character, that was not even originally created by the writer of Apocrypha (who, yes, is not the same writer of the main Fate stories, obviously).
Jeanne's main problem is how she is a very flat character, because they can't give many goals or desires to a woman who's a saint, totally satisfied with just serving the Lord. So, pairing her with a passive character like Sieg is an awful combination, as someone like him should be paired with a dynamic character to work. This is probably why Jeanne Alter is more popular a character, because she is a lot more dynamic than regular Jeanne.
Not liking a character is fine, but actively misrepresenting and slandering her (calling her a b***), because of your own ignorance is just cringe to watch.
The same could be said during the Karna fight. I wanted him to win too. He SHOULD logically have won (just like Gil should have won against Shirou in UBW, and canonically won because he had a*al with Rin, but you didn't complain about that did you?), but your ignorance to the mythological references to his loss made it legit painful to watch.
Your awful reactions were more painful than Apocrypha in of itself.

It says (in fate lore not in Hindu mythology) that his immortality comes with his armour, and to active his NP (the weapon Indra gave to him) he needs to remove his golden armour. So basically giving up his immortality. That's why siege manages to kill Karana

Not sure but I think the oldman in the end is Zelretch. He uses the Second True Magic called Kaleidoscope (also called Zelretch). Which is about Parallel universes and stuff.
There are five True magics in the Nasuverse. And that Kaleidoscope is one of them, there's also Heaven's Feel which is the Third Magic. It materializes the soul. Explained in the Heaven's Feel movies as well as in Apocrypha.

It really pisses me off that these two call Jeanne a bitch when she was literally doing exactly what she was supposed to be doing. I mean apparently the original ruler shirou gets a pass according to these two.
Apart from getting attached to sieg she was well within her rights as a ruler to side with the black faction, especially considering the previous ruler shirou who shouldn't even be there literally controls the red faction. All she was doing is working with the black faction to stop him.
My point is that you two should know your facts before slandering a character, it will help you avoid coming off as complete idiots.

Rider exists as the materialization of a concept rather than a master of mounted combat, so he has no proper form or mount
Lancer does not use a spear or a weapon but was created as the perfect weapon of the gods to use against gilgamesh
Archer use's no bow or gun but uses ammunition greater than any such devise could possibly fire themselves

Remember the sword Rin used against Sakura that connects to and draws mana form multiple parallel worlds? The old man, Zelretch, is owner of said sword. He's the wielder of the Second Magic which as far as we know, allows him to travel through, observe, and interfere, with parallel worlds and timelines. However, he rarely does so since excessive observation or interference of a single possibility will make it the only possibility. Essentially, if he looks at something too much, it becomes canon.
The old man at the after credits isn't a god, he's Zelretch one of the Dead Apostle Ancestor, the strongest vampires that still exist in the world. He is the creator of the Jewel Sword and grandfather of the Tohsaka family and also the user of one true magic.
In his prime he defeated Crimson Moon Brunestud the Type Moon himself and king of the True Ancestors (the original vampires) an existence WAY above servants and even gods.
He can access endless universes and syphon power from them, that's what he was doing at the end, just checking the outcomes of this fake war.
Just some small corrections, Zelretch isn't a Dead Apostle in Fate worlds (though, strange fake is a mix of Tsukihime and Fate worlds, so he might be one in it), and he isn't the grandfather of the Tohsaka family (unless you meant it in a metaphorical way), he's more like their "master/teacher."

The servant Flat summoned isn't Jack the Ripper, like the assassin of black from Apocrypha, but rather the *legend* of Jack the Ripper.
Eh not exactly. It is the entity of jack the ripper, similar to Apocrypha. The difference is that Apocrypha took a form based on the collective consciousness of children that were aborted and since that was purified by Jeanne, the entity is now formless and searching for the truth of its existence.
There are many legends about jack the ripper, therefore he has many forms.

Quick correction, Apocrypha's Jack still exists and can be summoned (just look at Fate/Grand Order as an example), and Apocrypha's Jack is not strange fake's Jack. Fate/strange fake's Jack is the idea that Jack the Ripper could've been anyone, so it's not the exact same as Fate/Apocrypha's.

Everyone knew there was going to be a Fate Strange Fake anime adaptation. It was supposed to air in Dec. of 2022, but got delayed. Then a few days before the episode aired, they started showing trailers and saying the first episode would be out. I don't believe we know anything about when the next episode comes out. As of me writing this comment, it's been a week since this episode aired and still no episode 2.

Gilgamesh and his ultimate weapon "Ea" can literally destroy an entire planet if he willing to do so, just because of that "Ea" was made by the gods to destroy and recreate a planet.

We’ve seen two wars in Fuyuki tainted with all of world’s evil, one split into 2 sides governed by a Ruler, we haven’t seen it yet but there’s one on the moon from the future of a parallel timeline, and currently we are in a middle of both the Grand Order and this fake. Personally I’d actually like to see what a normal holy grail war is like.

No Gil and Enkidu stalemated after 3 days of fighting with Enkidu and pretty much running out of stuff to throw at him out of the Gate of Babylon. Gil did not kill Enkidu the Mesopotamian god created him to keep Gil in check but he failed to the gods took away Enkidus life and power he did in Gil’s arms but Gil did not kill Enkidu.
