The USFL is getting better, the teams are working together more, no BS pass interference calls by the officials on 3rd downs or holding calls on offensive gains, players are play'n, LOVE IT !
@@rahlohmcdonogh4855 team chemistry is building. Takes a while for a unit to gel and put together good football. These guys have little experience with each other.
This was a fun game to watch live. Of course here in Alabama everyone had their favorite college football team gear on. I saw more Alabama then Auburn in fact I saw more UAB then Auburn.
Loving the USFL! This was a great matchup and really enjoyed the game. Here on the weekend it’s so much better to get wrapped up in a game right now instead yammering politicians! Thanks USFL!
My TV broke today so if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have seen any highlights at all. So thanks for that. Also this game is exactly why I say the Stallions will win it all. The fact that even when it's a road game they still have all the fans is just such an advantage over every other team.
Great action so far this weekend. The TB Hou game had the best crowd of the non Birm games. A little disappointed w/ this games turnout. Cmon BHam. You’re better than that!
The league isn’t promoting the games the right way… They switched this game into a Saturday night prime time slot at the last minute leaving many fans confused… so many people are still unaware of the fact that each ticket is good for the entire weekend with kids getting in free… needs better organization from the league
The way the U.S.F.L is playing now! Reminds me back in the day, when the N.F.L used to play this way. When the game wasn't control by the officials.....
Let keep the fans coming to support these games these are nfl players most of them most of them will be back in the NFL helping teams try to get to the super bowl
That crowd was super live. On the safety everyone was screaming so loud sloter put his hands over the helmet to try and drown out the noise. And it got loud af when the sack was made. Gittyup
I think i can speak for all fans when i say we want a 32 team playoff with teams from the CFL, USFL, XFL, CFB DIV ll Champs, DIV lll Champs, The winner of the Army vs Navy game, The winner of the Celebration bowl, and the NFL's worst team with only their second, and third string preseason roster with all their starters not participating. Oh and Notre Dame in it to.
The USFL games have been crisp and competent in terms of quality (other than the Maulers) but those empty stands when Birmingham isnt playing is a huge RED FLAG.
The biggest thing keeping the USFL back, in my opinion, is the damned BALL!!!!! Not for nothing, but I've seen some things that make me realize that the ball is contributing to some of the up and down play that is in this league. Yes, this is a spring developmental league. But some of those balls in flight looked like garbage and not the kind of garbage of the players' making. I love that the ball has electronics in it to see if the progress has been gained or not. But I don't think the league can survive without that ball evolving by the season's end. It's going to affect QBs, kickers, and punters for the ENTIRE SEASON.
@@rockerdax they only got rid of them for kicking plays. They swap out the new fancy balls for regular footballs on punts, kickoffs, extra points, and field goals.
This is a misconception actually. The broadcasters talked about it during the game, the progress isn't recorded by any sort of tech in the ball. It's actually measured by cameras that are pointed at the field. It's something similar to how statcast is used in baseball to determine exit velocities and launch angles off the bats of players.
How much of an unfair advantage is it that Birmingham has home field advantage every game they play in? And that they are the only USFL team to ever have that advantage? And in all fairness I need to confess I am a New Orleanian primed to find fault w any state of affairs that isn't to our advantage.
Would it be part of the tradition of the old game to reduce the I AM GREAT after a good play... Miss the JB approach, get up go to the huddle do it again.
¿Porque la USFL no se estableció en ciudades donde no hayan equipos de la NFL? Creo que tendrían más afición, y una afición virgen en el fútbol profesional
Their problem is that they picked Birmingham Alabama as the all time place to play. Lol they should have picked a city that could pull some fans like San Antonio.
@@johnortan1890 I think the only problem with San Antonio is that theirs only one stadium big enough, the Alamodome. Unless the USFL would wanna play in a smaller venue like Alamo Stadium. Birmingham has two stadiums over 40,000 capacity. Which is meaningless when you think about it since no fans show up when Birmingham is not playing.
@@cruman87 with the attendance alamo stadium would work. If they had a San Antonio team they would probably pull like 20-30 thousand a week. And the other games could maybe pull 5-10 thousand. Which is alot better than the 5-10 people they pull now. But like you mentioned in Birmingham, no one is showing up, it just doesn't have a population to get attendance for more than 1 game.
Another great game for the USFL. Great catches, amazing plays, tense moments, etc. It’s all you want out of a football experience.
No one could catch anything this game
Clearly a plant from the league. 22-13 from the 2 highest scoring teams is almost as ugly as the kicking/qb play in the league
The only problem was at the start when the teams were trying to find their rhythm.
Another week where Birmingham has to win
That's why ima ride wit Them..

The USFL needs the Birmingham Stallions
Bham allllllll day...im flying back home geared up to go support my first favorite team from the 80s
Great game! A little shakey on the pass game but it was a good defense. Go Stallions! Thanks for covering this!
Birmingham the best team now by far, gonna win the ship. We built different in Bama.
I guess its easy when every game is a home game....

Me also. It's sad the folks down their won't attend the other teams games.

Man the run after catch by Marlon Williams 😤
These USFL highlights are fun to watch. Some great plays. Great catches.
The guys are just out there having fun and playing. It’s amazing what football can be without massive egos and point shaving refs
Thank you for posting highlights.
This is high level football in my opinion
Nice to see the crowds start showing up.
Not really though
Only cause Birmingham was playing
Love their defense,Scooby and co.
Stallions (3-0) looking good they get Bandits (2-1) next week, I’m rooting for them to stay undefeated
Not the first comment but I’m loving the usfl content, keep it coming💯🤘🏾🎸
Good game Breakers. Y'all played them tough. Keep pushing.
My new favorite pro team is undefeated!
Wish the stallions would give montell cozart a chance former Boise state qb says he's the back up on the roster
Great game. USFL Rocks!
Really good game if Smith could have been better it wouldn't have been as close
if his tight end wouldn't straight up drop dimes it'd help
