Section 101, Row DD, Seat 1. Little did I know what I was about to witness. Frank Harris played across the street from where I live, at Clemens. I'm so happy for him that he's been able to stay healthy this year and really show what he can do.
Wow, very cool. UTSA’s two receivers (Clarke & Franklin) are Sunday players, easy. And their tight end (Cardenas) and tailback (McCormick) also do a great job of keeping defenses guessing (& will both get their shot at the next level). Anyway, suffice it to say, the team is very impressive, & I hope they run the table. They couldn’t beat Georgia or Bama (i.e., the top teams that will contend for the nati) this year, but they’ve taken an enormous leap forward with this run. And I certainly mean no disrespect by my previous sentence, bc if they keep winning and improving, and continue to build what looks to be a program with limitless potential (given the city they’re in and the dedication to the sport by the university), they’ll start getting 4 and 5 stars on the O-line & D-line. You can find and recruit and develop some great players at the “skill” positions (as UTSA has obviously done very well), but top shelf lineman on both sides (the huge, strong, fast, mean dudes seen at big-time programs) are the hardest to get. They are quite rare, recruited extremely hard, and they tend to flock to the top sec, big ten, etc. teams, where they’ll be prepared to play in the League after 3 years. I hope utsa’s success continues, and I’d love to see them playing in the Big 12 soon and someday (in the not-too-distant future) getting into the playoff and contending for a title. The team is very fun to watch, and I’ll be rooting for them. And let’s not forget the amazingly talented coaching staff! So glad the school opened up the vault for traylor; the return on that investment will be priceless. Get that undefeated season!!! Oh, one last thing. While we wait for this perfect season to gloriously end, and a future that has no bounds.......um, could someone upload the entire game! Please. Ha. A Longhorn alum who’s dying to see a utsa football game; 🤔. Wow! All good. Believe me, if the Roadrunners keep winning, utsa football (and not the Spurs) will be the city’s biggest sporting attraction (c’mon, it is Texas after all), and kids from all over the nation will flock to the city to play football and also to simply enroll and be part of the school. That’s what winning does for you...
As a former student of UTSA (in the early 70's; when football was but a distant future dream), it fills my heart with pride to see the team doing so well. Plot twist; I'm fortunate enough to work for a large financial services company where Hunter Duplessis (sp?) is also a member of our IT team. AND, UTSA is touted as one of the best IT CyberSecurity schools in the nation. So, while I am rooting for him to get into the NFL where the REAL money is, I know he'll always have a job with a great company doing cool stuff with our IT team.
Lol this guy was making crazy calls all night. He was wrapping the game before it was over. In the first half there was an obvious PI called in the endzone that he didn't know was called until the ref announced it. Anyways he was entertaining and I am happy we won
@6:48 Sincere McCormick should have been drafted for this play right here. Most RB's would have been absent minded and kicked the ball but he made the play buy avoiding contact with the ball. It means he is highly intelligent and he never fumbles. Raiders got them one.
I was there. That was a crazy heartstopping game!! Game had all the excitement you cna ask for, and also, was for all the marbles!! Big time perormance by this team. Gut checking time!!! Just come out against UNT and steamroll them; NO LETUP!! #BirdsUp!!
1:15 i always thought this was dumb, they say it’s a no brainer but a win from the 50 is almost too good. You have to trust your defense at some point. Pointing was probably the right call. It’s so hard to say knowing Utsa scored from further but at the time I thought it was a smart move… but in a Utsa fan
Since most of the people in these comments are bird fans, I’ll represent my Blazers. This was a fantastic game by all means, the guys played their guts out on both sides of the ball. That tip was totally a freak deal with some big luck involved. But neither team didn’t deserve to win this game. But if that hadn’t happened UAB would have played for the conference championship and likely won it. Just my two biased cents. Go Blazers!!!!
UAB decides not to go for it on 4th and 1 from their own 42 with a 4 point lead. "I would have kept the offense on the field. Your defense has been playing fantastic." First play UTSA QB throws ball away. The receiver stretching out of bonds to get a hand on it. "That was a very dangerous pass."
I am the one with the math problem. Here is the kicker: When QB Harris was stopped at the 1 yard line, one of the UAB player was down. If the UAB player had not gone down, the clock would have been ticking and would not have given UTSA to huddle a plan. It was a miracle all around.
lol yeah this is definitely Doug Anderson I forgot he was even doing CFB now a few years ago he was calling HS school football in Texas on TV for TXA21
Ngl I’m not too familiar with football plays and their strategy, but even I thought that was kinda weird, especially considering that UAB had a shit ton more yardage on us by halftime…
So these announcers thought UAB should go for it on 4th down with a 4-point lead and 1 min left. THEN thought UTSA should run the ball with 9 seconds left (no time outs left) on the 1-yd line. Insane.
Holy hell man, it's like Fozzy Bear and Kermit had a fricken baby and then dropped it on it's head!! Please never ever talk publicly out loud ever ever ever again!!!!!
I mean... sounding like Ed Orgeron or Dick Vitale isnt necessarily a bad thing. It's not like he chose to sound like that too😂. I wonder if he got made fun of for that as a kid.
It's obvious that the announcers went even in the dome. If they were they would have seen the remaining time on the clock and the announcer is terrible he sounds like he's trying to call a WWE match
Right!? Like the whole game they were pushing through…they even had TWO consecutive penalties in one play that pushed them back like 10+ yards, and they still gained like 20 yards on one play. But all of a sudden it’s down to the wire and you choose to punt at 4th and an inch? Ok….
Coach Clark is the best coach in UAB history and didn’t make many mistakes in tenure. He did that quite often and it worked 99.9% of the time. Can’t control a freak deal.
I was there in person and it was A THRILLER, the crowd went WILD after. The best CFB game I've been too
God can you imagine if the dome was full? They only had it at half capacity.
@@calebchristensen900 that's what I was thinking lol if it was full it would've been so much louder especially at the end
This was one of those games where you just HAD to be there…and I’m glad I was. it was so much fun.
This was the first time ever I have been to a college game and boy was it amazing
@@justinewoods6109 same lmao
Heard over the radio. Was great to see the full "last min" of game here. Thank you! Go UTSA Roadrunners!
I was at the game. It was amazing!!! Go Runners! Division Champs!!! 11-0 🤙🏻🏈

Ed Orgeron was quick to find a job as a brodcaster
Though I’m an Aggie, this Roadrunners team has been something special #meepmeepnation

Someoe uploaded the whole game!
Right on with your assessment from a UTSA alumni!! Here is the link to the game ua-cam.com/video/wzv2epp5Yys/v-deo.html

I was there in person. Such a thrilling game!
Me too, best game I’ve ever seen on the dome
This game was epic!
amazing the reaction from the crowd gave me chills
Pre season i watched a lengthy interview with the uab coach. Seems like a great guy. VT fan but I did watch all of uab's games this year.
Such an incredible run by the roadrunners!!! I was there and the energy was amazing!! Probably the best game in the dome since 2017!
Probably ever tbh, we’ve had season tickets since year 2 for UTSA that one Alamo bowl with TCU and Oregon would be my favorite non UTSA game
Apparently Ed Orgeron is moonlighting as an announcer.
That'll be weird if Ed becomes a commentator
Ah you beat me on the Orgeron comment
Lool i picture his face in confusion all game long
He sounds like he’s got covid
Lol, nice!
Lol this guy was making crazy calls all night. He was wrapping the game before it was over. In the first half there was an obvious PI called in the endzone that he didn't know was called until the ref announced it. Anyways he was entertaining and I am happy we won
That crowd sounded awesome !!!!!!!!! I felt it in michigan lol !!!

What a catch by 84. Great game! Meep Meep
84 Cardenas.
The clock management by the UTSA staff was superb.
Without a doubt, Conference USA's Game Of The Year. Looking forward to renewing acquaintances in a much better conference (AAC) in 2023.
Hulk Hogan and Alex Jones blended together
LMAO
HULK JONES
"I'M TALKING ABOUT HULKAMANIA RUNNING THE GOVERNMENT BROTHER"
Shout out Macho Man. Oh Yeah!!
I want to hear this guy announce more games!
I'll probably try and find if he announces a game this weekend.
I said a month ago this game should be game day ESPN it would have been an immediate classic
They did show the game in espn plus or I think it was espn 2
Did you catch how he reference the 80s band The Fixx with their song Saved by Zero for Harris…
PURO PINCHE 210
UTSA TILL I DIE
This was so awesome!
I’m not crying. You’re crying. Can’t wait for next season.
I was here. I screamed so loud I shit myself.
I was there in the student section and they had me sweating 😭 but It was great game !!!🤙🏽

also kind of sounds like a older version of brad nessler
UTSA only had 10 men on the final kickoff. I am not sure why one player was flung to the sideline.
Oooooh yeaaaaah!
What was the announcers name??
Doug Anderson
I work on the sidelines, such a blast
Can we talk about how the clock keeper was terrible all game??
Did someone noticed only 10 players on the ending kickoff
I was wstching the replay and noticed. Imagine that play ending in 6 😬
That’s the guy from GTA San Andreas!!!
Only 10 players on UTSAs final kickoff. What a flex.
Good game. Interesting voice.
I thought he sounded horse. I didn't realize that was his natural voice.
I am deaf and I am so glad that I was there I could hearing the roar inside the dome the game was best ever I had.
They really tried to fake an injury to run the clock🤣 after the ref made a wrong, game-changing call #cheatersneverwin
Dude sounds like he could be a wwe announcer

Step into a slim jim!!
When did Terry Funk become an announcer??
10:46 there was 10 players. It was supposed to be 11 players lol

Games they have played tell you a team that plays with ❤️ along with solid coaching
Delay of game 4 n 6 they have no time outs
@@markgentile9989 the quotes were from the announcer i was mocking .. shouldnt have been that hard to follow
I was there 2nd row so awesome go runners!!!
Math problem: UTSA down by 3, 31 - 28. UTSA scored a touchdown which should show UTSA up by 3, or 31 - 34. The point after should have shown 31- 35.
I am the one with the math problem. Here is the kicker: When QB Harris was stopped at the 1 yard line, one of the UAB player was down. If the UAB player had not gone down, the clock would have been ticking and would not have given UTSA to huddle a plan. It was a miracle all around.

Still on a high from this game! #meepmeep
Announcer sounds like that LSU coach (Oregeron?).
The guy calling the game sounds like Lsu coach Ed ogeron lol
Lol
Sounds like he gargles with pea gravel and broken glass.
UAB coach gave the game away, 4th and a inch and you take a delay of game and punt?
A weird decision
Ngl I’m not too familiar with football plays and their strategy, but even I thought that was kinda weird, especially considering that UAB had a shit ton more yardage on us by halftime…

Holy hell man, it's like Fozzy Bear and Kermit had a fricken baby and then dropped it on it's head!! Please never ever talk publicly out loud ever ever ever again!!!!!
UTSA only had 10 guys on the field for the last kickoff lol
Wolfman Jack’s grandson?
Alex Jones on the call
Game of the year.
I didn’t know randy savage was a commentator
I was there my sister is a athletic trainer for ITSA go roadrunners
Everyone I uploaded another interesting football video - ua-cam.com/video/j7cp4LoZF2w/v-deo.html&ab_channel=ericsupermagnificent
Clutch Cardenas doing Clutch things🤷♀️. Goooooooo RUNNERS🤙🧡💙
Definitely a wrestling announcer xD
Lol that would be awesome if he is
Our voices are identical.. he’s got to be careful or he will lose it..
Sounds like Rex kwon doe
The clock should've stopped at .5 after the Td play.
Also the clock shouldve started earlier after the play where UAB had an injured player
should be starting on refs whistle but didnt start until 2 sec after the snap
That announcer sounds like ED Orgeron LSU EX Coach lol🤣
That's what a lot of people said
Like stone cold said so ohhhh helllll yeeah that's the bottom line cause roadrunners said so
I was there what a game afterwards UAB giving us the🖕that was to funny 🤣
I thought it was Seth Rogen commentating
Lmmfaoo🤣😭🤣😭🤙
Great ending
Sounds like coach O
I mean... sounding like Ed Orgeron or Dick Vitale isnt necessarily a bad thing. It's not like he chose to sound like that too😂. I wonder if he got made fun of for that as a kid.
Want to know what this announcer looks like? Here's a video of that - ua-cam.com/video/QiMkMwNWB4Q/v-deo.html&ab_channel=UA-camMovies
It's obvious that the announcers went even in the dome. If they were they would have seen the remaining time on the clock and the announcer is terrible he sounds like he's trying to call a WWE match
Sounds like Alex Jones, I love it!
Good teams, find away to win
Does UTSA claim a Natty if they go 14-0? 🤣
I would
Worst ending ever ☺️Go Blazers!
UTSA won
Epic I love the roadrunners
UTSA should fall out of the top 50 after this performance. 😜
Gay, nothing happens and there is a double 15 second commercial in this video
Unfortunately, that's because part of the video is copyright.
Uab should fire that coach ..the softest call ever 4th and a INCH !! And u punt the win away wow..bonehead move !!
Right!? Like the whole game they were pushing through…they even had TWO consecutive penalties in one play that pushed them back like 10+ yards, and they still gained like 20 yards on one play.
But all of a sudden it’s down to the wire and you choose to punt at 4th and an inch? Ok….
They weren't pushing around the Roadrunners in the 4th quarter and their longest drive of the 2nd half was only 44 yards.
Coach Clark is the best coach in UAB history and didn’t make many mistakes in tenure. He did that quite often and it worked 99.9% of the time. Can’t control a freak deal.
And UTSA lost the next week to UNT lol
Being healthy for the championship is more important than a perfect season. if the perfect season happened, then that was a bonus.
Wouldn’t describe this as a crazy ending. Just a good game. Nothing unpredictable or unexplainable. Nothing crazy. 🤷🏻♂️
