Micki . Here is a tip of you need cardboard stop by your local USPS . Ask if they would let you have the big cardboard pallet size boxes that the Amazon deliveries are in for USPS to deliver ..My local PO told me take as many as possible . Remember do not litter if you cut them down at the PO to fit in you vehicle .Pick up after yourself. That way they let you get more as needed ..Human size cardboard targets can be cut out.use you buddy to lay on it for an out line or staple paper to it
Nice call
I like it! Bicycle stores also have nice big cardboard that they might let you have.
Just dumpster dive stores! All the cardboard you need.
If you just HAVE to have a zombie, give the kids a box of crayons the night before!😂
Diggin the recent vids! 👍👍
I'm digging you digging them
Yeah bro , all my steel
are TA targets … awesome quality and durability 👍🏻🙏and love the ammo can paint thing !
It's the best steel
Just blew my mind with the ammo can of paint. Never seen that before.
Stick around, I got more.
my wife's hair holders are really good too!
So last night was the third night I was at the indoor range ever. Got my 43x a couple weeks ago and I love it. People are looking at me like I'm crazy because I'm practicing my footwork and my fighting stance instead of b blasting ammo down range
Nice
Did you remember to moonwalk for the audience? 😁
@@jamesludwin6752lol 😂
Spent about an hour just dry firing today, at the 300 yard range. Don't know if I'd do that at the indoor. Kind of expensive.
@@userJohnSmith I dry fired for like a month daily before I ever stepped into the range. Helped so much
Thanks for the great ideas! Enjoying these videos !!!
Outstanding video. Thanks!
Invaluable information Mick! Never thought of the roller/paint tip, excellent video as usual. Thanks so much for putting these out there for us.
Love this style of shooting video.
Great tips thank you
Gratitude!
The old, "no camera skills" style.
Lol
Yes Mick I love these vids.! 👍👍
Thanks, good targets are important.
Thank you
Great ideas. If you meed a long ling to gang targets on the plastic snow/safety fence works well with the binder clips.
More Greet tips from carry trainer!!!
Great video lots of practical advice!
Watching your channel since the pandemic lockdowns. I save up one side printed letters etc. and use them as cheap target papers.
Hey, great information! Anyway I can save money to spend more on ammo the better! Thank you!
Ammo paint can is brilliant!
Dude!!!! Awesome advice! Thank you. Doing competitions, by the end of the day I’ve got spray paint on my gun. And white dots all over the dam place
Yep
Great video!
Great tips 💯
Love it. Much appreciated.
Very welcome
The stickers are a good call.
I dont need shoot and see.
Now where to find em. 🤔
Dollar tree possibly crafts . Or
I buy on Amazon cheaper than anywhere I've found. I'd search 3" and 4" circle stickers on a roll
Cheap paper plates with stickers & seeing your round labels now👍
Save your pizza boxes, they work great for target training.
Yes!
Balloons and paper plates
Hey Mick, I got a really good deal with your discont code on the hatpoint targets. I really like them and the fir strips and jumbo clips are cheap. Great deal and even better with your code. Thanks.
Yep
Thank you for the donation of a premade steel paint can 😂
Hahahahahahhahahhaha
Fantastic tips here. BTW what kind of pants are those? They look comfortable.
Kuhl
I use index cards
I buy sticker targets from Temu. They are cheap and work in all condition. Here in Finland we have snow and sometimes it rain too.
Paint you can possibly get cheap as heck at Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity
Good idea
Gunfighter gun oil!! Working great so far. I like it! Been using about 6 months. I live in colorado at about 9000 feet. The oil does great in the winter and cold weather.
It'll work in any climate this planet has, better than anything else made.
that's the Trainer who carries ✌
Hey u
IUSE THE 5 FT GREEN GARDEN STEAKS OFF OF AMAZON 30 PACK 50 DOLLARS AND USE THE 2 INCH BINDER CLIPS FOR SECURING. GREAT INFO
Those circles looked closer to 6" to me... really good ideas, thanks.
The black ones on the roll?
They are 4"
I've been using them for years in white, black and orange.
@@CarryTrainer If those are only 4" then that means.. Oh well, at least I have a good personality.
😂@@joeykerr1384
Dig your style, bro. I've been using 3 inch blue paint tape lately.
I'm furniture finisher...
I've done it too!
Once again, excellent video. I'll have to check out those target stands - I made my stands out of 1.25" pvc with detachable uprights for easier storage in our trailer. 1x2 wood strips slide right down into the 1.25" pvc uprights. I've trained thousands of students on those stands and they're still going strong - but they're large and a bit unwieldy. Some of the uprights have taken a hit or two which tends to break it a bit but they're all still usable.
Another note on using the spray adhesive. If you reuse cardboard, adding multiple layers of new targets with spray adhesive actually tends to preserve and strengthen the structural stability of the cardboard - especially if you use clamps to attach to 1x2 uprights instead of staples. Staples and bullet holes will quickly make your cardboard unusable, but spray adhesive and clamps do an unbelievable job of adding the the lifespan of usable cardboard. Also, if you often train in the rain (as we do here in florida), have some corrugated plastic board (the kind they make political yard signs out of) to use in place of cardboard. Cardboard will sag and tear apart in a prolonged downpour, but the corrugated plastic board is excellent for poor weather and is incredibly reusable too.
I cant tell you how many times I've torn open the tips pf my fingers on sharp staples sticking through the back of cardboard. Horrible little things, those staples.
Nope to the staples. I agree on all.
The PVC and wood stands don't allow for the easy stacking and flexibility in cardboard width
@@CarryTrainer Hey Mickey, I just received four of these targets to try out. You said they're stackable, but I'm having trouble figuring out how that is so. Can you explain what you meant by stackable? I was thinking I would be able to stack 4 of these for easy transport in a vehicle.
@@koozie83 I assume you are referring to the HatPoint?
@@CarryTrainer yes sir, correct. I assumed they would nest on top of one another but it doesn’t seem like they are designed for that.
@@koozie83 I stack them 40 tall. I'll post a picture
I'm never buying spry paint again thank you for the tip.
Happy to help
👍
🦅
I like spray paint because it dries faster
Why do you need it to dry?
did I miss it?...where can we get that carboard background to hold all those targets?
Any target supplier.
Target barn
Action Target
Etc
Where is your range and class?

Jesus lights my fire. He’s righteous about everything. Dude he’s the sword.
Cool
Never had a problem with staples... 18 yrs of uspsa. At the end of the day, take a pair of knipex plyers and remove any staples that stayed behind on your 1x2's... ready for next session. Cheers
And I thought I was clever using paper plates
I dig those too. We did a drill and recorded it years ago with 8" cheap plates. I keep a stack around.
Yep
I get the small and large super cheap paper plates. And a roll of the hi viz target stickers that are 1.5” .
