Thank you for putting this out here! I am coming to the end of all of my pre reqs. I have 5 classes for my pre reqs So ill be starting the clinical portion in sept 2024. You answered a lot of questions I had. Thank you!
Is the HESI included in the tuition? Do they provide a location to take the exam? Thanks in advance. I just requested more info from WGU, hoping to start my journey soon🤞🏽🤞🏽
Were your labs in your state? I’m in Michigan and because they only have labs in certain states they stated I have to travel to the location in order to do the two required labs. Illinois location is closer to me but they stated if there is no availability I might have to go to Utah, Florida and the other state I forgot them but I just wish they have the lab locations in all the states they have the nursing program in.
Thanks for the vid ❤ I’ll be following you on IG🎉 My employer is willing to work with me but they want at least a 30 day notice in advance. Sounds like the clinicals schedule might be an issue with short notice of set dates 😭
My preliscensure program is 2 years for bsn is it very overwhelming can you explain more in another video with how the homework/ testing looks like and when you would start clinicals& how the support is with teachers
Hi! Can you explain the pre license? After you finish the program, do you become an RN and start working? Or do you have to complete your BSN? I'm confused
Do you get to choose your days or give your availability and WGU helps schedule around you availability? Do you get to choose your clinical sites? Thank you for your share!
Hi! Just recently found your channel and I’m obsessed with all the info! Did you have to travel for lab? It doesn’t look like I have a lab in my state so I was wondering about the travel portion for labs.
Love your videos ! I start Feb 1st. Turned in a ton of pre reqs. Can you please explain how fast you went from regular classes to clinical lab classes and what is realistic as far as the timing of graduating ? Can you also explain what lab and clinical classes are like
Thank you so much for watching!! 🤍I completed eight classes within my first term and I’ve just gotten into my clinical term October 1 so I don’t have much insight but as soon as I go through that and clinical rotation, I’ll upload it, I go to lab and a little over a week!
If you follow my Instagram, you may get updates a little bit faster. I posted on there that I got mine three weeks in advance and of course, I’ll make sure to elaborate for y’all on the next video!
Hello! Your videos have been very educational on the program, I appreciate that!! One question. Did they ever state to you how competitive it is to get into the prelicensure program? I am changing careers. I do not have any transferable credits. I am just unsure if I am wasting my time applying with only the app essay and Hesi exam to get in.. Since I have no experience in the field or pre reqs. Thank you!
Thank you for watching! 🤍 So I’m in Texas, so my state specifically can be a little complicated as far as your start date there it’s so many people trying to get in this program that the start dates are pushed out to next year, so honestly, it depends on where you live. If you start with WGU for pre-reqs, they will most likely automatically accept you into the clinical term of course as long as you have the Hesi exam and everything they need for admission! Experience is not required. The main thing required is motivation and drive. If you had those two things you will get through this program!
Congratulations on your journey to becoming a registered nurse. Keep up the good work I remember paying for my sister RN program. You got this beautiful
@@BeautyByBrittB for me term 2 but only because I had 1 pre nursing term! So it honestly depends on how many pre reqs you got. Thank you for watching!! 💕
Hey! So my PTO was in regards to my job that I have outside of school. They won’t pay you for clinical’s because that’s required hours you have to complete to earn your BSN
Have you started working yet? I’m so nervous to start because I’m afraid I won’t be able to find a job after. (Nurses I know were skeptical of the program and it’s discouraging me)
@@FutureRNBrittany congrats to you! And thank you for the feedback 🤟🏾 I spoke to a advisor and I’m going to start the program in the next month or so. I appreciate your help 💜
Transferring credits is key! I aligned my AA with the pre-requisites for WGU and I was able to transfer all of them. I only took six classes and then started clinicals.
How many questions in tge exam? How does WGU classes prepare you for exam ? Is WGU competent in their teaching? Do the students feel competent enough to write exam based on the WGU teaching preparation? Does tuition fees cover the textbooks or must students pay for texbook differently? Do the professors give you a kind of site for practicing test before the main exam / test? Does WGU have clinical sites at HOUSTON, and where are the places. Do you think the practicing test is a little bit similar to what you see in the main test or do the professors teach you different and set nonsense that is not close to what you see in the main test ?
Hey girl, I just got accepted into the program. I begin November 1st 🙌
Congrats!!!! 🤍 your so close!
I start on the 1st also🎉
Hey, how did you study for the test?
Todays the 1st! I start too

Is it online? What school?
Hi! Can you explain the pre license? After you finish the program, do you become an RN and start working? Or do you have to complete your BSN? I'm confused
the prelicensure program is the BSN program so you will have your BSN
Does the 60 hours include the clinicals for all of the classes requiring clinical rotations? Or is it 60 hours per course?
How many semesters do u have left ? Or what portion of the wgu u on ? Trying to go to that prigram
4 terms left. I’ve completed 1 of 5 and I am currently in my 2nd term!
Do you get to choose your days or give your availability and WGU helps schedule around you availability?
Do you get to choose your clinical sites?
Thank you for your share!
So we dont get to pick her days unfortunately WGU chooses your site and days for you. And Thank you for watching!!

@@JoceyRandom Hey!! And thank you for watching 💕 I didn’t have to travel because I reside in Houston!
So how long will it take you to complete your program?
Would you be able to bridge LPN to RN in the program? Good content by the way
You can go but its not really a bridge. You will still be there for 2.5 yrs at the minimum
Do we have to get the same stethoscope and sphygmomanometer that they mention in the list or can we use the one we have??
I was gifted one, so I am going to bring the one that I already have. I don’t think they’re very particular about that.

What days of the week were your labs on?
They differ but they are never on the weekends from what I’ve seen.
Is pre-nirsing available in every state ?
No it’s actually in specific states since it’s apartment of the “nursing” program I would suggest checking the website.
I have a question, are the clinicals paid? Since you mentioned PTO
