@lydiapatton1072 hi Lydia! I am from Houston and planning to apply in WGU too. I have an appt with the counselor on the 17th. Did you finished all the prereqs in the community college? I did mine in HCC but still have classes need to finish. Good luck to us!
@@faithupton6944 Hello! 🎉🙋🏽♀️ I was able to transfer a lot of my pre-reqs due to my bachelors in Biology. There are a few courses that are not transferable, and those I have to take/re-take. Those classes are Health and Wellness through Nutritional Science, Pharmacology w/Dosage Calculations, Foundations in Nursing and Critical Thinking. Once you speak with your counselor, you’ll be able to get more of an understanding of what to expect. Once an evaluation of your transcripts has been completed, you and your EC would be able to map out your beginning courses. Everyone’s situation is a little different as we begin our journeys here at WGU, but the end goal is all the same. #BSN💕 Best of luck to you as well hope we cross paths soon! 💕🙏🏽
Yes please continue the videos!! I look forward to them as they are the most detailed videos out lol. I start August 1st in Houston and these videos are answering alllll of my questions. Thank you!! And congratulations on passing your courses!! 🎉
Thank you for these videos! I've watched all the first few ones so far! The videos have given a lot of insight on how to get started with WGU and how the courses go and everything like that. I've been considering attending WGU possibly because I am also a working wife and mother, plus in the military and its hard to be able to go to school full time the traditional sit down in college way. So, your videos are a big help in helping me decide if WGU is the best choice! Thank you Brittany! 😊💕

I only have the 4 classes that you can’t tranfer and i am planning on accelerating them. So we cant accelerate clinical nursing courses?
You can accelerate the classes that are not attached to a lab or clinical on site class
I’ll make sure to explain a little bit more in my next video
I have to take A&p 1,2, algebra, critical thinking, med dosage, micro, patho, health & wellness, then foundations of nursing

I'm confused , What does Pre-Licensure mean ? After your 2.5 with WGU you have to apply to nursing school to finish there?

Once I pass the Nutrition class I got you for the next video!
Do you need to be covid vaccinated?
Covid is a requirement unless you have an exemption which is pretty hard to get because most hospitals require the vaccine
2 weeks to complete patho? huh? 2 weeks to complete nutrition? nursing nutrition? man I have so many questions
How long do you have left as far as pre- Reqs?
