Hey girl heyyy! I’ve been waiting for your video! ……I found out today I got in!!! I start Nov. …….how did you feel about the pathophysiology course? Im only missing that one and A&P 2……
For those who already have first Bachelor Degree in non-nursing field before coming to WGU, at the same time have completed all the PREREQUISITES. How many months would it be with WGU ?
Yes, I’ve completed all the pre-nursing classes. I really don’t like to use the term hardest because I feel like it set a tone for someone before they get in the class. I will say the one that required the most work was my nutrition class, but it was solely because it was my first HESI style exam, I think the part that takes a little bit more time is learning how to answer the HESI style questions so practice questions are key!
I’m currently doing orientation for the program. You can accelerate non clinical courses but all clinical courses have a set time frame. It wouldn’t be possible to finish in 6 months.
Hey! There is not a set time it solely depends on your situation, how many pre nursing classes you have; so I wouldn’t be able to give you a timeframe.
@@FutureRNBrittany Thank you very much. It makes sense to do the practicums in person. I appreciate your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience.
It’s the same style classes as other programs, I can be honest with you and say they take work and alot of studying. Nursing school is hard but worth it.
I messaged on your other video but how long are the clinicals and lab. I plan to relocate and want to be close the area. Is it every day for the 2 years? Or every other month?
Hey! 🤍 Check out my most recent video I explained lab days in depth. It occurs once a term for clinical terms. Also clinical’s progress every term the hours increase the further you get. This term I have 6 (12 hour shifts.)
@FutureRNBrittany thank you for answering. I'm on the fence about relocating just for this program lol. So. Every 6 months is considered a term. So, every 6 months you have a week to fulfill labs and clinicals?
@@giasilvermonroe2442 the clinicals are not consecutive days my 6 days are scheduled over the timespan of 2 weeks (3 shifts a week for 2 weeks) Some people clinical shifts are 2x a week for 3 weeks
I’m 20 years into my current career and will be starting WGU to switch careers to nursing. Thank you for these videos. They are extremely informative
No problem! 🤍 welcome to the night owls!
@ebonydixon933I don’t have nursing prerequisites but WGU accepted many credits from my precious degrees so no

Hey girl heyyy! I’ve been waiting for your video! ……I found out today I got in!!! I start Nov. …….how did you feel about the pathophysiology course? Im only missing that one and A&P 2……
Congratulations 🎉
Pathophysiology wasn’t bad at all! I personally didn’t take A&P so I’m not positive about that course
Great info! Are you able to work full-time while doing clinicals?
For those who already have first Bachelor Degree in non-nursing field before coming to WGU, at the same time have completed all the PREREQUISITES.
How many months would it be with WGU ?
Hey! So 2.5 years is minimum, you wont be able to do it any shorter than that with WGU.
Hey have you completed foundation of nursing?
The exact question I was looking for.
Have you completed all your pre-nursing classes? Which did you find the hardest so far?
Yes, I’ve completed all the pre-nursing classes. I really don’t like to use the term hardest because I feel like it set a tone for someone before they get in the class. I will say the one that required the most work was my nutrition class, but it was solely because it was my first HESI style exam, I think the part that takes a little bit more time is learning how to answer the HESI style questions so practice questions are key!
Hi ! i have a bunch of transferable credit so id only be taking about 6 classes. How do the clinicals work? do i have to do 4 semesters?
are you able to complete the prelicensure program in 6 months? a lady in youtube did it in 6 months
I’d like to know this too
What was the lady who did it?
No it was probably the RN-BSN program. The fastest is 2.5 years.

Hello thank you for everything but how long get take you to go for clinical, I want to know please.
Hey! There is not a set time it solely depends on your situation, how many pre nursing classes you have; so I wouldn’t be able to give you a timeframe.
did they provide you with your clinical window schedule already?
Yes! I posted a separate video with that information
Hello I just subscribed! I wanted to ask do you need the Covid vaccine for clinicals?? Thank you in advance
Yes mam COVID vaccine is required mostly all hospitals requires it.
Where do you go to the lab? Is it all remote through the WGU portal?
Labs and clinical are in person and the location depends on your state

@@VictoriaLepantoFatima no problem! 🤍
Do they issue the bag of supplies at the time of labs?
You have to order the bag yourself through the information the school will send you when your accepted to the clinical part of the program.
Are the classes easy for nursing? I’m thinking about this program but I’m scared.
It’s the same style classes as other programs, I can be honest with you and say they take work and alot of studying. Nursing school is hard but worth it.
@@FutureRNBrittany Thank you so much. I appreciate your reply. Yeah, I can see that it is worth it. All the hard work will pay off.
Wow you’re fine. I’m already set in my career. I’m at 155k a year currently. I wanna wife up a nd help u through school💯
